Chapter 44
GEORGIA'S POV
The next morning, my head felt like a construction site. I stumbled out of bed, groaning at the rhythmic thumping behind my eyes. I desperately needed something for the pain.
I realized my sweatshirt was still covered in pepper stains from last night's salmon—I clearly hadn't even managed to change before passing out. I trekked to the kitchen hoping for lemon tea, but the maids only had coconut water. It helped take the edge off the dehydration.
"Here. Eat this before the rest of the family arrives for breakfast," Hanna said, sliding a veggie omelet in front of me.
"You're a lifesaver," I managed, digging in. "This is incredible. I'm starving, which is crazy considering how much salmon we ate last night. Seriously, that was restaurant-quality."
Hanna blushed. "I did most of the grilling and prep myself."
