He was disappointed....
Came home.
Had dinner. And silently went to his room...he was zoned. Zoned into nothing.. but with a feeling of something doesn't feel right.
He took shower and tried to sleep...
It took sometime to sleep but he eventually slept.
"Thatt girll"...the girl he met in the streets was the girl who had just taken admission in "sakura blossom high school" .
He woke up early that morning, calm . Too calm... There was no rush, no excitement, nothing that usually comes with starting something new. Today he had to take admission in a high school... Not that far from his home and was the same one his elder brother had passed out from.
He got ready quietly,gathered all the required documents and left without a second thought. It didn't matter to him where he was going . It felt like something inside him was already gone silent... Like there is nothing to achieve now.
The high school looked ordinary from the outside. Formalities were done, paper signed, everything moved smoothly. Then the accountant handled him the admission slip... His eyes casually dropped to the name written on top...
"Sakura blossom high school"
Hhhhh... The same of her's.
For a second, his fingers tightened around the paper.
Something about that name, didn't feel new... Was somewhat familiar .
He quietly returned home, just like he had left without saying much. As soon as he entered, his elder brother pushed him...
" Hmm.. same school.. bruhh. Don't worry, you're gonna survive". He started sharing random stories of his time.. that how once he slipped down the stairs and act like it was nothing but intentional.
For a moment, the room doesn't felt that heavier.
He listened silently...smiled. But it didn't reached his eyes. It felt something he did just to respond... Just to complete the moment.
But shockingly, this was the moment that sparked a little excitement in him.
