Chapter 54 - Chapter 54: Return to Hogwarts

"I told you not to be so crazy last night, insisting on riding my 'broomstick' on top. You really are a glutton for punishment despite having no stamina..."

While helping the little witch out of bed, Harvey muttered complaints under his breath.

"Stop, you are not allowed to say that!"

Hermione, blushing furiously until her face burned, quickly pinched Harvey hard on the waist. Are the intimate, dirty details of their bedroom play something you can just talk about casually?

"Hiss..."

Harvey gasped in pain and immediately shut his mouth obediently.

Subsequently, from the corner of her eye, Hermione spotted the crimson bloodstain of her virginity blooming on the bedsheets like a plum blossom. She hurriedly turned her head away, pretending not to see it.

"Aren't you going to help me to the bathroom to shower? Didn't you see there are still traces of your dirty mess all over my back..."

Harvey offered a wicked, apologetic smile as he helped the little witch into the bathroom.

Not long after.

"Hey!? Why did you follow me in here?"

"..."

The next day.

A vibrant, energetic morning.

Harvey knocked on Wanda's door, instructing her to stay nicely at home and adapt to her Chaos Magic. He told her he would be going out for a while and that she shouldn't run around outside casually.

Having been kept awake all night by the loud noises of them fucking, Wanda—who now sported dark circles under her eyes—could only agree with a face full of bitter resentment.

Harvey returned to the master bedroom of the villa once again, just in time to see Hermione fully dressed. Her wizard robes, wand, and knee-high boots—the full three-piece set—were all ready.

"Let's head out then!"

A glowing blue cross-world portal appeared.

The two of them arrived in the top-floor dormitory of Ravenclaw Tower.

Hermione looked around with great interest.

"This is your room? There's actually a beautiful wall sconce given to you by Ginny hanging on the wall?"

"How do you know that wall sconce was a Christmas gift from Ginny?" Harvey was a bit confused.

Hermione wrinkled her nose, sniffing the faint scent of jasmine, and said with a cold face, "You're also using the Atkinson's aromatherapy given to you by Luna?"

"You know that too?" Harvey asked in surprise.

Hermione said with a dark expression, "Because I was the one who helped them pick out those gifts."

"You picked them out?" Harvey raised an eyebrow.

Hermione scoffed coldly and explained, "The hidden meaning behind the wall sconce is to have you 'burn yourself to illuminate others'—wishing for you to go die early!"

"And the aromatherapy specifically has Belladonna added to it. It's meant exactly for stinking men like you, to poison you to death sooner or later!"

"What kind of deep-seated hatred and grudge is this? Is it really necessary to use such underhanded methods to screw someone over?" Harvey found it impossible to understand the thought processes of these girls.

Good thing he rarely spent much time hanging around in the dormitory.

Thinking about it now, he felt a bit of lingering fear. He had previously found it strange why smelling this incense for too long made him dizzy.

Turns out it was all a scheme cooked up by Luna and the others.

Hermione waved her wand and cast 'Scourgify'.

The wall sconce and the aromatherapy instantly vanished, transferred straight to the Hogwarts rubbish dump.

"Now do you know to be afraid? Who told you to act like such a scumbag in the first place, actually sending us all the exact same identical love letters!"

"If Ginny hadn't accidentally discovered it, I probably would have been kept in the dark by you forever..."

Hermione kept blabbering and complaining non-stop; every time she thought about this matter, she got angry.

She secretly resolved to keep a tight leash on this annoying jerk Harvey from now on, to prevent him from rekindling his old romances with Ginny, Luna, and Cho Chang.

Regarding Hermione's complaints, Harvey let them go in one ear and out the other. He pretended to nod along occasionally while walking over to the windowsill.

On the edge of the windowsill lay several letters delivered by owls. The seals on the envelopes featured a red mushroom-cloud pattern representing an emergency signal.

"Come look, these are emergency letters from Harry!" Harvey interrupted Hermione's nagging.

Hearing that her best friend Harry might be in trouble, Hermione's heart leaped in shock. She hurried over to the window and opened one of the letters.

"To my most respected best friend:"

"When you receive this letter, please reply immediately. We need your help very, very badly!"

"Just last week, Voldemort led his Death Eaters, along with over twenty werewolves, and broke into Gringotts."

"Not only did they sack the vaults, but they also massacred many innocent goblins."

"I believe Voldemort was after Hufflepuff's Cup; it is highly likely to be one of his Horcruxes..."

"We urgently need your help!!!"

After reading the letter, Hermione hurriedly pulled her Firebolt out of her spatial bag, wanting to rush to the Dumbledore's Army secret stronghold on the outskirts of London to regroup with Harry and the others.

Harvey quickly spoke up to stop her: "Calm down, darling. Rushing over there right now won't be of much help. We need to go heal Professor Dumbledore's injuries first."

Hearing this, Hermione paused her motion of mounting the flying broomstick, a look of hesitation appearing on her face.

"But I'm worried Harry and the others will be besieged by Death Eaters. I want to go over there and assess the situation first."

Harvey advised her earnestly: "Think about it carefully. Compared to Professor Dumbledore's injuries, which one is more important?"

"If we had a Dumbledore in his prime holding down the fort, would Voldemort still dare to be so rampant?"

Hermione hesitated for a moment but ultimately trusted Harvey's judgment.

"Then let's go find the Headmaster right now!"

Harvey nodded, pulling a strand of Dumbledore's white hair out from the Undetectable Extension pouch in his wizard robes.

This was a method he had prepared in advance to quickly locate Dumbledore.

He extended both hands, pulling the white hair taut. While channeling his magic, he visualized Dumbledore's location in his mind out of thin air.

Sizzle—

A portal appeared.

On the other side was a hospital ward in St. Mungo's Hospital for Magical Maladies and Injuries.

Dumbledore lay peacefully on the hospital bed with his eyes closed.

Healer Livia Maria stood nearby holding her wand, casting healing magic to prolong the patient's life.

A green beam of healing light extended all the way from the tip of her wand to Professor Dumbledore on the bed.

Inside the ward were also the deeply worried Deputy Headmistress, Professor Minerva McGonagall, and Herbology Professor Pomona Sprout.

In the silent ward, the atmosphere was incredibly oppressive.

When the portal appeared, it startled the few people inside the room.

Professor McGonagall exclaimed in surprise, "Good heavens! You two have been missing for three whole months. Everyone thought you had been kidnapped by Death Eaters."

Seeing that the white-bearded old man wasn't dead yet, Harvey breathed a sigh of relief. Good thing he wasn't too late.

During these three months, he hadn't intentionally wasted time; rather, the speed at which the Wand of Watoomb absorbed magical energy was simply too slow.

He had no choice but to wait patiently for three months before the Wand of Watoomb finally finished charging.

"Professor McGonagall, Professor Sprout, and Healer Livia, I have a way to cure Professor Dumbledore. Could you all please step outside for a moment?"

Wearing her gold-rimmed spectacles, Professor McGonagall said with absolute seriousness, "Mr. Ferguson, you are not joking?"

Hermione also spoke up to help explain:

"Professor McGonagall, we are not joking. I would never mess around when it comes to such a crucial matter."

Towards her outstanding student Hermione, Professor McGonagall was still willing to grant her trust.

"I am willing to believe in the most outstanding student Hogwarts has had in all these years. Professor Sprout, Healer Livia, let us step outside for now."

Wearing green robes, Healer Livia frowned and said, "But the moment I stop casting the Healing Charm, the patient's injuries..."

Harvey waved his hand, interrupting her: "Don't worry, Madam Livia. I will stabilize Professor Dumbledore's injuries."
