Three Admirals, six Vice Admirals, one Fleet Admiral, and Garp on top of that.
What kind of god-tier lineup was this?!
"Kaido!!!"
Sengoku, who had led the three Admirals and a group of Vice Admirals to the other side of the crater, raised his head slightly, his expression grim.
"This is Marine Headquarters, Marinford. You're not going to run wild here!"
"Oh, Sengoku. Long time no see!"
Taking advantage of his superior height, Kaido looked down at Sengoku and grinned, his enormous mouth revealing a fierce smile.
"Let's fight!!"
Having fought the Marines more than once, Kaido couldn't be bothered to waste words. He simply raised the enormous iron club in his hand and swung it viciously down at Sengoku!
"Ama no Murakumo Sword!!"
The instant Kaido brought the club down, Kizaru shouted.
He spread both hands, and a long sword made of dazzling light suddenly materialized in his grasp.
The moment the sword appeared, Kizaru didn't hesitate. His figure flashed into the air, and the light sword in his hand simultaneously came crashing down.
The sword collided head-on with Kaido's massive iron club.
A thunderous impact rang out, and a terrifying shockwave instantly spread across a radius of hundreds of meters.
Wherever it passed, space twisted and the earth trembled.
The Marines on the ground immediately felt suffocated, as though a towering mountain had suddenly come crashing down upon them. Many broke out in cold sweat, their hearts pounding with fear.
After the two weapons collided, Kaido suddenly stepped forward through the violent shockwave.
He raised a fist and thrust it straight ahead, aiming directly for Kizaru's chest!
As his fist shot forward, a flash of energy swept across it.
In an instant, Kaido's enormous fist turned pitch-black and gleamed with a metallic sheen.
Seeing Kaido coat his other fist with Armament Haki and drive it straight toward him, Kizaru's expression tightened.
He immediately abandoned the clash and retreated.
"Why are you running, Kizaru?"
After his Armament Haki-coated fist forced Kizaru back, a trace of disdain flashed through Kaido's eyes.
His body suddenly bent forward at an astonishing angle.
The next instant, he shot forward like an ancient ferocious beast.
The enormous iron club wrapped in Armament Haki was raised once again, then came crashing down toward the Kizaru who had just retreated, carrying the overwhelming force of thunder and wind!
Facing Kaido's utterly violent swing, Kizaru didn't dare meet it head-on.
He decisively transformed into a streak of golden light and floated toward the higher sky.
The moment Kizaru evaded Kaido's lightning-fast attack, Aokiji, standing beside Sengoku, immediately stepped forward.
He bent down and crouched, placing one palm against the ground.
Then, word by word, he shouted,
"Ice Age!"
As Aokiji's voice rang out, an icy wave of freezing air surged from his palm and instantly spread toward Kaido's feet.
Before Kaido had any chance to react, both his feet were frozen solid in the blink of an eye.
The ice then rapidly spread upward, freezing half of his body.
Soon, Kaido was completely encased in ice, transformed into a motionless statue standing before everyone like an enormous iceberg.
"Hm?"
Not far away, Kairo had already returned to the entrance of Garp's residence with Tashigi.
Seeing Kizaru and Aokiji work together to freeze Kaido solid, he couldn't help muttering in surprise,
"Could this be what they mean by 'two Admirals are unbeatable'?"
Being carried back by Kairo, Tashigi surprisingly wasn't frightened at all.
She stared at the frozen Kaido without blinking before raising her little head toward Kairo.
"Mr. Kairo, is the battle over?"
"It probably... won't end that quickly."
Kairo shook his head with a smile.
"That monster is one of the Four Emperors of the New World—the captain of the Beasts Pirates, Kaido of the Hundred Beasts, known as the world's strongest creature."
"Even though Marine Headquarters has gathered all its forces, if they could restrain him this easily, there'd have been no reason for him to travel thousands of miles and throw himself down from the sky just to challenge the Marines."
"Hahaha! Of course it won't end that easily!"
Just then, Garp also leaped over to Kairo's side and spoke in his usual carefree manner.
"But even with that freakish defense of his, there's no way that guy is escaping this time!"
The moment Garp finished speaking, Momousagi, who had been standing nearby, quickly walked over to Tashigi.
"Tashigi, stay beside Mr. Kairo. Don't run around, understand?"
"Aunt Gion, what are you going to do?"
Looking at Momousagi, who had approached her with a solemn expression as though facing a formidable enemy, Tashigi blinked in confusion.
"But that guy has already been—"
"Crack... crack... crack..."
Suddenly, a series of crisp cracking sounds rang out without warning.
The next instant, the ice covering Kaido's body began to fracture at an astonishing speed.
Before Tashigi could react, a deafening explosion suddenly erupted.
With that thunderous blast, the ice encasing Kaido shattered into countless fragments that scattered in every direction.
Then, Kaido, who had been completely frozen only moments ago, took a step forward.
His enormous eyes glowed red, blazing with boundless battle frenzy.
A faint layer of mist enveloped his entire body, making his already domineering presence seem even more ferocious.
Stepping out from the shower of flying ice, Kaido tightened his grip around his massive iron club.
He swept his gaze across every Marine present before roaring with overwhelming fighting spirit,
"Marines! Come and fight!!"
Before Kaido's voice had even faded, Garp—who had been standing beside Kairo only moments ago—had somehow already reached the ruins.
He raised his iron fist high.
Carrying an overwhelming force that seemed capable of shaking heaven and earth, he hurled it toward Kaido with lightning speed!
"Hm?"
Sensing the terrifying energy approaching from behind, Kaido's eyes narrowed.
He immediately turned his head and gritted his teeth as he roared,
"GARP!!"
BOOM!
A thunderous explosion that shook the earth erupted.
Garp's iron fist, carrying tremendous force, slammed directly into Kaido's body.
As the deafening impact rang out, a terrifying shockwave centered on Kaido and Garp surged violently in every direction!
The enormous Kaido was then sent crashing to the ground, kicking up a massive cloud of dust!
"Powerful! Absolutely domineering!"
Seeing Garp knock Kaido down with a single punch, Kairo couldn't help praising him.
"If we're talking about someone who's truly unbeatable, that old man's iron fist is the real deal!"
Hearing Kairo praise Garp, Tashigi immediately raised her little head.
"Mr. Kairo, I heard Aunt Gion say that you're very strong too!"
"Do you want to join the battle?"
Kairo smiled faintly.
"With the three Marine Admirals, Fleet Admiral Sengoku, Old Man Garp, your Aunt Gion, and seven or eight other Vice Admirals all here, there's no need for me to step in."
"Besides, look around you."
"Tens of thousands of soldiers have completely surrounded this place."
"That big guy may be incredibly difficult to kill, but there's no way he's getting away."
"Most importantly, I'm just a traveler."
"Right now, the only thing I can do is pour myself a cup of good tea and watch a battle whose outcome is already decided, but whose process is bound to be spectacular."
"This is truly a rare sight."
"It would be even more perfect if little Kiki could bring us some desserts."
