Time flew by.
In the blink of an eye, another half month quietly passed.
During these two weeks, aside from teaching the two girls Armament Haki every day, Arashi spent all his time tending to his twenty acres of land.
The orchard had already been planted with ten kinds of fruit including oranges, bananas, and watermelons.
The vegetable fields had also been fully sown with pumpkins, eggplants, napa cabbage, and various other crops.
All that remained now—
Was to wait for the fruits and vegetables to sprout, grow, and flourish.
Of course—
Arashi still had two daily responsibilities besides that.
One was fishing in the sea.
The other was hunting birds and wild animals in the mountains.
The meat supplies he'd brought from the Kingdom of Nasia had long since run out.
If he didn't catch fish or hunt game, the three of them would be forced to survive on dried food and vegetables every day.
That absolutely wouldn't do.
He and Robin could survive on vegetarian meals—
But Perona was still growing.
Every bit of nutrition she needed had to be provided.
—
A new day arrived.
After preparing breakfast for Arashi, Perona and Robin immediately went off to train.
This had become their mandatory daily routine.
Rain or shine—
Training could not stop.
That was Arashi's order.
Since both girls had already mastered Armament Haki, Arashi no longer needed to personally supervise them constantly.
It was enough for the two of them to spar and improve together.
Still half-asleep, Arashi first wandered through the orchard and vegetable fields for inspection.
After finishing breakfast, he casually slung a fishing rod over his shoulder and headed toward the seaside behind the mountain.
Once he arrived—
He set up the fishing rod, lazily yawned, leaned against a rock…
And promptly prepared for a second nap.
Before he realized it—
He had actually fallen asleep.
By the time he woke again—
It was already noon.
Seeing that the fishing rod hadn't moved at all, Arashi—now refreshed from his extra sleep—didn't even bother wasting more time.
He simply reeled in the rod—
Then decisively drew his sword and slashed toward the sea.
One strike.
The ocean split apart silently before exploding violently.
Several unfortunate giant fish were blasted skyward with the towering waves before crashing onto shore.
Seeing this, Arashi wasted no time.
He stuffed the fish into a basket and headed straight home.
—
And just like that—
Half a year passed in a blur.
Since Ohara Island had long been forgotten by the world, aside from Mihawk, no one had stepped foot here during these six months.
It was as if this place simply didn't exist to the rest of the world.
Of course—
That was perfect for Arashi, Robin, and Perona.
No disturbances.
No interruptions.
Every day was peaceful, fulfilling, and leisurely.
Wonderful.
During these six months—
Aside from managing the orchard and vegetable fields, Arashi taught the two girls Armament Haki, Observation Haki, and the Six Powers every single day without fail.
Robin and Perona had both fully mastered Observation and Armament Haki and could already apply them flexibly in battle.
As for the Six Powers—
Robin had learned Finger Pistol, Moonwalk, and Tempest Kick.
Perona, meanwhile, had become particularly interested in Paper Arts, Rankyaku, and Iron Body.
In fact—
Arashi had already received the system notification and claimed the twenty-thousand travel point reward a month ago.
The reason he still hadn't left was partly because he wanted the girls to improve further—
And partly because he was waiting for the pumpkins and other portable fruits and vegetables to mature so they could take them aboard the ship.
But now—
It was finally time to leave.
—
On the endless ocean—
Five Marine warships sailed in tight formation at high speed.
Ahead of them—
Several massive pirate ships also cut through the sea at astonishing speed.
Cannons roared continuously.
Shells screamed through the sky before exploding around the pirate fleet, sending towering water columns into the air and terrifying the pirates aboard.
On the largest pirate ship at the front—
A gloomy-faced man ignored the exploding cannon fire around him and turned toward one of his subordinates.
"Hold steady!"
"Drag those Marine ships into the Devil Sea Region!"
"Yes, sir!"
The subordinate responded loudly before immediately rushing off.
—
At the same time—
Among the pursuing Marine fleet—
On one of the warships, a Marine officer wearing a captain's coat stared fixedly at the pirate ships fleeing ahead.
His expression grew increasingly grim.
The Strollo Pirates.
A pirate crew that had only suddenly emerged in West Blue within the last few months.
At first, the Strollo Pirates hadn't attracted Marine attention at all.
But their growth rate had been astonishing.
In barely a single month—
The Strollo Pirates had transformed from an unknown crew into one of the most notorious pirate forces in West Blue.
Within that month alone—
They had swallowed up at least five or six pirate crews.
Their membership expanded from barely a dozen people to over two or three hundred.
And once they grew stronger—
They became completely unrestrained.
Two months ago, they brutally massacred an entire town.
After slaughtering over a thousand civilians—
They looted all valuables before burning the entire town to the ground.
After successfully escaping one Marine pursuit, the Strollo Pirates became even more insane.
Not only did they continue massacring and pillaging every town they encountered—
They even openly attacked Marine warships.
More than a hundred Marines had died because of them.
They had even destroyed a brand-new battleship recently dispatched from Marine Headquarters to West Blue.
Marine Headquarters was furious.
Orders were issued immediately—
Capture the Strollo Pirates at all costs.
And thus—
Today's scene came to be.
Five warships deployed simultaneously just to hunt down a single pirate crew.
"Captain Bell."
A Marine soldier approached the captain standing nearby.
"I heard Strollo, the captain of the Strollo Pirates, is a Logia Devil Fruit user. Is that true?"
"Yes."
Captain Bell nodded.
"But this time…"
"He won't escape."
As he spoke, Bell turned toward the massive warship at the center of the fleet.
Standing quietly upon the deck—
Was a beautiful woman carrying a sword at her waist.
Tall and graceful.
With peach-blossom features and a pair of long slender legs exposed beneath her short Marine attire.
Mature and beautiful at the same time, making it impossible to judge her true age.
The Marine Headquarters Vice Admiral coat fluttering behind her in the sea breeze only added even more heroic charm to her appearance.
Momousagi.
The youngest Vice Admiral in Marine Headquarters—
And one of the strongest candidates most likely to become a future Admiral.
