When it came to Gecko Moria, Arashi could only describe him with one phrase—a loser in life.
After his crushing defeat against Kaido in the New World, he lost all his subordinates. He fled back to the West Blue in disgrace, dragged Thriller Bark into the Florian Triangle, and clung to the empty title of one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea—only to be defeated again by that dim-witted Luffy, who was protected by protagonist plot armor.
Then, during the Paramount War, he was stripped of his Warlord status by the World Government and immediately targeted by Donquixote Doflamingo and a legion of Pacifistas...
It was truly… a miserable fate.
Of course, the guy did have a few redeeming features—especially that signature onion-shaped hairstyle. It was oddly hilarious, wasn't it?
At the port of Constantin City—
Thriller Bark loomed arrogantly above the sea. Countless shadow bats blotted out the sky, wave after wave surging toward the city.
The city had already descended into complete chaos. Screams and cries intertwined into a grim symphony of death, echoing endlessly through the night.
Standing at the front gate of Thriller Bark, Gecko Moria reveled in the scene.
Ever since his defeat in the New World, he had come to believe that only the living can lose everything. Determined to change that, he had planned—together with a certain genius surgeon—to create a powerful zombie army, and he had been working tirelessly toward that goal.
Robin had already retreated into the cabin of the Traveler.
With Moria's appearance, she didn't dare be careless.
Not only was he one of the Seven Warlords, but also a notorious pirate with a bounty exceeding 300 million. Though this was her first time seeing him in person, she was fairly familiar with his Devil Fruit abilities.
Without absolute confidence in victory, the only thing she could do was remain hidden aboard the Traveler and observe the situation.
"Hm?"
Suddenly, a voice echoed eerily beside her ear.
"There's actually a woman here… how amusing!"
The moment she heard the voice, Robin's nerves tightened. She quickly scanned her surroundings, but the cabin appeared completely empty.
Blinking in confusion, she cautiously took a step forward.
But the cabin wasn't empty.
The one inside was none other than Absalom, one of Moria's subordinates—the user of the Clear-Clear Fruit.
From the moment Thriller Bark docked, he had already spotted Robin standing on the Traveler's deck. The instant he saw her, his base instincts were triggered.
Taking advantage of Moria launching his shadow attack, he turned invisible and swiftly boarded the Traveler.
As a perverse deviant, how could Absalom possibly pass up a beauty like Robin?
So, after boarding, he went straight up to her and let out that earlier remark.
Seeing that Robin hadn't noticed him, Absalom grew even more brazen, circling around her exaggeratedly.
Bang!
Overcome with excitement, he suddenly slipped and fell flat on his face—accidentally exposing himself right in front of Robin.
"Ah!!! I've been discovered!"
Revealed, Absalom scrambled to his feet and looked at Robin warily.
Meanwhile, Robin was completely caught off guard, staring at him in bewilderment.
At the same time—
Back in the palace, the moment Arashi spotted the massive shadow drifting into Constantin City's port, he didn't hesitate. He immediately dashed toward the harbor.
He hadn't expected Moria to drag Thriller Bark here directly!
With Thriller Bark's arrival, the Traveler docked at the port would be in grave danger. He had to secure his ship first.
More importantly—Robin was still on board.
Given her current strength, she stood no chance against Moria.
Arashi moved at incredible speed. In just a few leaps, he landed steadily on the deck of the Traveler.
"Are you alright?"
The moment he landed, he headed straight for the cabin.
"Mr. Arashi!"
Hearing his voice, Robin—who had just regained her composure—quickly ran out and said anxiously,
"There's a strange man in the cabin—he can turn completely invisible!"
"A strange man?"
Arashi blinked, then narrowed his eyes slightly as his Observation Haki spread out silently.
"As expected—it's this guy."
Locking onto the now-invisible Absalom, Arashi frowned and asked Robin,
"He didn't do anything to you, did he?"
"N-no… I don't think so."
Robin answered uncertainly, instinctively glancing at her maid outfit. It was fairly conservative, and she quietly let out a sigh of relief.
Arashi tilted his head and gave her a quick once-over. Seeing that she was indeed unharmed, he nodded and strode into the cabin.
The moment he stepped inside—
A series of violent impacts erupted.
"Ahhh! Stop hitting me, stop hitting me! Who the hell are you?!"
"How can you hit me no matter where I hide—ah! Stop! Can't we talk this out?!"
"If you keep hitting me, I'll fight back—ahhh!!"
Outside the cabin door, Robin was completely stunned. Listening to the relentless sounds of beating and screams, she took a deep breath and cautiously approached the doorway.
Inside, Arashi was constantly shifting positions, swinging his darkened fists at seemingly empty air.
Every punch landed with a heavy, resounding impact.
After repeating this over a dozen times, the invisible man could no longer endure it. Absalom finally revealed himself, collapsing at Arashi's feet and gasping for air. His already grotesque face had been beaten into an even more horrifying state.
The scene was… hard to look at.
Even Robin, who had been startled by him earlier, couldn't help but feel a hint of sympathy.
"Damn it!"
Looking down at the fully exposed Absalom, Arashi clicked his tongue, then stepped on him and said viciously,
"You've got a death wish, sneaking onto the Traveler like this!"
The power of the Clear-Clear Fruit might be flawless against inexperienced opponents—but to someone like Arashi, who had honed his Observation Haki to a high level, it was practically useless.
No matter how invisible Absalom became, he couldn't escape Arashi's perception.
Under the barrage of Armament Haki-enhanced punches, Absalom was now barely breathing.
