In the evening...
Near a forest, everyone was camping beside the Rustbucket.
Gwen and Keva helped with small chores while Ben went for a walk.
While walking, Ben was thinking about using the alien enhancement rewards which he had stored for so long.
'Hey Ciel, can I choose the alien for the random enhancement?' Ben asked Ciel in his mind.
[No, Ben. A random alien will be selected for a random enhancement—physical strength enhancement, control enhancement, reflex and instinct enhancement, etc.] Ciel replied, explaining the reward.
'Aww, such a pity. If I could choose the alien, when I unlock aliens like Way Big, Clockwork, Gravattack, or other powerful aliens, I would definitely fill them up with enhancements to the brim, hehe,' Ben thought sinisterly.
[Wouldn't it be boring if every time there's trouble you pick Way Big to solve the problem?] Ciel asked.
'Hmm, it really won't be fun after all...'
Ben looked towards the sky.
He placed his hands behind his back, looking like a wise man, and sighed.
' It's really lonely being the strongest at the peak,' he said.
[Um, hello, mister? Why are you being so dramatic as if you have already conquered the world or something? You are still not strong enough , remember?] Ciel immediately woke him up from his delusion.
'Hehe, I was just joking, you know.'
[Well, that's for the best. Of course, with you and me working together—you will be the strongest in no time. Hmph.] Ciel replied confidently.
'Of course, we will be the strongest!' Ben nodded seriously.
'Anyway, Ciel, there are five random enhancement rewards, right?'
[Yes, currently there are five random enhancement opportunities for random aliens.]
'Alright, use them all up. Let's see which ones get enhanced.'
[Okay, Ben.]

'Four Arms' speed, XLR8's physical strength, and Rath's claws' sharpness have increased ? Hmm, it's pretty good,' Ben nodded and claimed the rewards.
Then, in order to test the enhancements on the aliens, Ben opened the Omnitrix, selected Heatblast, and pressed the button...
A green light flashed...
His body began to change.
His skin cracked apart like molten rock, glowing orange light seeping through the fissures.
Flames burst out from within as his human form was engulfed in fire.
His arms stretched and reshaped, turning into blazing limbs of living magma. Flames erupted from his head, forming a roaring crown of fire .
His entire body hardened into dark volcanic rock with glowing lava lines running across it, radiating intense heat.
The transformation completed.
There stood — Heatblast.
"Heatblast." Ben checked his arms and created flames.
"Uh-huh, I can feel I can control the flames better now. Let's test it more..." Ben nodded, noticing the enhancement.
He looked at his flaming hands, flexing his fingers as fire danced more smoothly than before.
"Alright...."
He bent his knees slightly.
And created flames around his feet.
FWOOSH!
A burst of fire shot downward, and his body lifted off the ground.
He hovered a few feet in the air, adjusting himself.
Using the flames like a hoverboard, he shot ahead like a rocket.
"Ohhh... this feels way easier than before."
He tilted his body forward.
He spun mid-air, leaving a spiral trail of fire behind him, then dashed forward again—faster this time. He was training to fly better using the flames.
"Yep... I can control the flames better now."
he said, grinning. Then he started flying around like he was surfing in the air.
"Now that's what I'm talking about."
When he was flying around in the sky, he looked toward the pier-side carnival, where the police were chasing two robbers.
However, the robbers pushed a hot dog cart toward the police to block their way so they could escape.
Oil started pouring from the cart and it suddenly caught fire.
The police officer shielded his face and stepped back, and the nearby shops started to catch fire as well.
Seeing this, the two robbers ran toward the docks and tried to escape using their rowboat.
Ben saw them and immediately flew toward the area.
First, he absorbed the fire around him , so it wouldn't hurt anyone, then he went after the robbers.
"Ugh!" the robbers screamed upon seeing a figure made of fire.
However, they quickly snapped out of it and took out rods to attack.
" Man, why resist ? Just surrender ! What's with the childish tricks ? " He said to them .
Heatblast directly kicked them away and lifted them up using his flames like a tornado.
Then he landed on the pier with the robbers in his grasp and handed them over to the police.

Sirens were ringing around them...
The police officers arrested the two robbers and left.
Another officer, who was standing beside Ben, said,
"I don't care what anybody says, you circus freaks are okay by me."
"By the way, why are you on fire? Is this some new trick you people came up with? And some flying suit?" he asked curiously.
"Me? Circus freak?"
'Uh, this is when Zombozo and his lackeys first appeared, huh? It seems I forgot about them. Seems like a new subordinate will be joining soon heh .' Ben thought about Frightwig and shook his head.
"Well, officer, hope we won't meet again. Bye."
Heatblast said and flew away, launching himself like a rocket.
The officer watched him flying away and scratched his head in confusion.
"He looked like a freak to me ."

On the road—
Inside the Rustbucket,
"Zombozo's Traveling Circus of Laughs? Cool," Gwen said.
"I have never been to a circus since I was a boy. Sounds like fun. What do you guys think?" Grandpa Max said.
"I like circuses!! Let's go there, it will be fun for sure..."
"It's okay to me..." Ben said, thinking he would be going there to beat them anyway.
"Hmph, circuses and such are kids' stuff. Totally uncool for someone like me..." Keva said, resting her cheeks on her hands and looking outside the window.
"Hm, what's wrong, Kev?" Gwen asked, raising an eyebrow at her.
After all, even if Keva didn't like it, she would still follow them around.
There must be something going on...
"Nothing, it's pretty late..." Keva said.
"Umm, it's 11 o'clock in the morning, Kev," Gwen reminded her.
"Sigh... you want to see some stupid circus? Fine by me... alright?" Keva agreed to go with them.
"Hm?" Ben looked at her in confusion, but didn't ask further questions.

Outside the circus...
They were heading inside...
"Oh, looks like the whole town showed up for the show, huh?" Grandpa Max said, looking around the crowd.
A barker interrupted him,
"Ladies and gentlemen, come see the freaks of nature! First—whose strength knows no bounds!!—Thumbskull!!!"
A big, tall guy appeared with an iron rod, bending it with his raw strength.
Then he threw it in the air...
A mass of red hair caught it mid-air—a red-haired woman whose hair moved like tentacles was playing with the rod.
"And now presenting—Frightwig!!! When this beauty lets down her hair... there's no telling what could happen!!"
She put the rod down in front of another guy.
"And now, meet another unique freak of nature—Acid Breath!!"
The guy called Acid Breath pulled his mask down and breathed onto the rod, melting it away.
The crowd was shocked by them.
"Eww, gross," Gwen said in disgust.

On the other side—
Inside Zombozo's tent...
Zombozo was laughing while looking in the mirror and rehearsing...
"Howdy, folks! Are you ready to laugh?"
"Perfect..."
"Hehe... all of you are going to laugh to death... hahahahah," he said sinisterly, putting his hat on his head.
His creepy laughter echoed inside the tent, but of course, there was no one else there.
----
"Come on, guys, the show is about to begin," Grandpa Max said and went inside first.
Gwen, Keva, and Ben were outside together...
"Come on... what's the problem, Kev? You seem uncomfortable. Tell us what's wrong... okay?" Gwen asked Keva.
