Julian has hit the limit from overexertion. From the day he was reborn in this world to this day he was stressed and running against time.
It has taken a toll on his body and he fell unconscious as soon as the day ended.
I woke up in a dark empty space there was no up, down, left or right. There was not even a floor. He was just standing on an invisible platform. And from far away there were small stars twinkling.
Soon enough a star brightened and grew in size. Few letters emerged from the darkness under the star. It spelled seeds of knowledge.
Julian was mesmerized. He felt like a psychedelic trip. Textures collapsing on itself, patterns pulsing rhythmically. But everything was clear.
This is like a codex. A Codex containing the essence of technology and science.
Instantly infinite number of dots lit up below the main star and a intricate web started to form between them. It spread fast and formed a spear covering the main star. The outer ring slowing floating in its orbit, rearranging and reconnecting.
Suddenly it expanded and he was swallowed into the center.
At the center the core star glowed and hummed camly. I saw a sea of dots around me and each single dote was connected with fine threads of light.
After careful inspection most of dots have dimmed considerably compared to before. Soon all of them turned gray except few closer ones.
A small few once were twinkling bright after close inspection, on one a name popped up "retort kiln". The next one was "column distillation", " dry distillation".
