That single strike had reshaped land, crushed districts, and erased entire zones from the map. After that, the Defense Force lost control. Communication broke down. Units scattered. Leaders stopped giving clear orders.
Law and order didn't just weaken.
It collapsed.
And that collapse created something he understood better than anyone else.
Opportunity.
He stood on top of a broken car, the metal crushed under his weight like paper. Around him, the city burned in slow motion. Fires spread through buildings that were already half-fallen. Smoke rolled across the streets in thick waves, blocking out most of the sky.
From above, it looked like a dying world.
And beneath all that destruction—
Life still remained.
