He sat me down at a table a little further away from people.
"We'll sit here for now, but our table is in the center. Figured you might want some space away from the spot light before we sit down and eat and start the bidding."
I looked at him with confusion, "Bidding?"
"The Winter Gala is a charity event, during these events we auction off different valuables donated by various families and the proceeds go to different charities every year. We have one for winter and summer."
"Wow, that actually pretty cool."
Mi Mi approached, all smiles.
"Unni, guess how mad those witches were behind me!" Mi Mi jumped landing directly in front of me.
I smiled at her.
