Taeyung felt nothing in regard to what happened with his father in the dining room, but he deeply regretted the fact Mi Mi walked in on it. He never wants her to know, let alone see, the monster that hides beneath his skin.
Mi Mi knows it's there. Nothing escapes her truly observant mind. But she let him have his bubble and live in it.
Mi Mi knew much more about the dark side of her family's business than she'd ever let on. But she listened with ears against the wall. She watched with eyes around the corner.
Even knowing the evil and violence her brother is capable of, she didn't love him any less. She embraced all parts of her brother.
They drove from place to place hunting down the perfect ring, but nothing caught Mi Mi's eye.
By the time he'd reached the last store, Mi Mi was about to lose it.
"All of these designs are ugly and completely unworthy of Phoebe, oppa!" She whined upset.
