Chapter 51 - Chapter 51: The Awakening of Electrolux (II)

Time flowed slowly in the silence. A faint, grey halo began to emerge around Huo Yuhao. The light was weak at first, like mist before dawn, but it carried an ancient aura that seemed to transcend time and space. The halo swirled around him, as if countless delicate runes were floating within it, emitting a terrifying pressure.

Suddenly, Huo Yuhao's body shook violently, and his eyes snapped open. Surprisingly, his pupils had turned completely into a deep grey, as if stars were flickering and the Universe was shining within them. An indescribable majesty radiated from him, causing Furina, who was guarding nearby, to hold her breath involuntarily.

"This is..." Huo Yuhao felt the changes in his body in a daze, his voice tinged with a hint of bewilderment, "My Mental Sea..."

Just then, an aged and gentle voice resonated leisurely in his mind: "After sleeping for so long, it is time to wake up. Little one, thank you for awakening me."

Huo Yuhao was shocked to discover that, in his Mental Sea, a phantom of an old man dressed in grey robes had appeared at some point. The old man had white hair and a white beard, and his eyes, weathered by time, twinkled with the wisdom of one who understood the ways of the world. He stood with his hands behind his back, exuding an aura that made one feel at ease.

"You, who are you?" Huo Yuhao condensed his own phantom in the Mental Sea and asked, bowing respectfully.

The old man stroked his beard and chuckled, his voice filled with emotion: "This old man is named Electrolux, and I come from another world. Due to some accidents, my Divine Sense was shattered, and one strand of it attached itself to your Mental Sea."

Before he could finish speaking, the Tianmeng Ice Silkworm couldn't hold back any longer and interrupted angrily: "Yuhao, he is that grey ball of light I mentioned to you before! It's this old guy who has been fighting me for territory! I didn't expect him to suddenly break through the Seal I set for him."

Upon hearing this, Electrolux glanced at Tianmeng dismissively: "Fighting you for territory? What are you? Just a chubby meat worm. If it weren't for the fact that I only have a remnant Soul left, I would have turned you into nourishment long ago. Besides, do you call that a Seal? It was too crude; I could have broken free just by stretching."

"Bullshit!" The Tianmeng Ice Silkworm trembled all over with golden light, furious, "If you have the ability, then do it! Let's see which of us destroys the other! Don't think I can't tell, you only have this one strand of Divine Sense left, you don't even have any decent energy!"

Electrolux sneered, his tone filled with condescending pride: "True, I only have one strand of Divine Sense left. But do you know that the level of this strand of Divine Sense is far higher than your million-year cultivation. Even if my Divine Sense is shattered, with this last remaining sliver, you still cannot do anything to me."

He paused, and continued slowly and deliberately: "Just think, what will happen when I gradually restore my shattered Divine Sense and recover all my memories? I will pinch your fat body with two fingers and then press slowly. With a 'pop,' I will crush you into pieces, with juices splashing everywhere."

"You... you..." The Tianmeng Ice Silkworm was clearly no match for this sharp-tongued old man, and the ten golden lights surged violently with anger, but it couldn't utter a complete sentence.

"What, what is going on?" Huo Yuhao stared in astonishment at this sudden argument, feeling his head spin. How did his Mental Sea become so "lively" in just a short while?

When Electrolux turned to Huo Yuhao, his tone immediately softened: "Kid, I did not originally belong to this world. In my memories, it seems that when I was on the verge of death, I relied on my powerful Soul strength to break through space, allowing this strand of Divine Sense to luckily survive and drift into your world."

He recalled the scene, his voice becoming distant: "It just so happened that at that time, this big worm was undergoing Fusion with you, generating intense energy fluctuations that attracted me. Thus, my homeless Divine Sense settled down in your Mental Sea."

Seeing the worried look on Huo Yuhao's face, Electrolux added: "Rest assured, I have no malicious intent towards you. Now that my Divine Sense is fragile, I need to rely on your Mental Sea for nourishment, so I naturally won't do anything detrimental to you."

Feeling the energy circulating in the Mental Sea, his tone carried a hint of surprise: "The immortal medicine you absorbed just now seems to have a great nourishing effect on the Soul. It not only allowed this sliver of my Divine Sense to wake up but also restored quite a bit of power... If I could get more, it would surely be of great benefit to my memory recovery."

Electrolux pondered for a moment, seemingly trying hard to recall something: "Right now, my memories are still very fragmented, and I only vaguely remember one sentence: 'Holding the sun and moon to pluck the stars, there is no one in the world like me'..."

Huo Yuhao shook his head with a bitter smile: "That immortal medicine was given to me by Sister Furina. If you still want more, old sir, I'm afraid you'll have to ask for Sister Furina's opinion."

"Furina?" Electrolux was thoughtful, "Is that the little girl outside?"

Just then, Electrolux's eyes suddenly brightened: "Wait, I've remembered some more things. I am Electrolux, the Necromancer Mage Electrolux, from another world. Someone... who did not wish to become a god."

"Did not wish to become a god?" The Tianmeng Ice Silkworm couldn't help but interject, "What kind of joke are you making? How could anyone in this world not want to become a god?"

Electrolux glanced at Tianmeng indifferently, his tone calm and waveless: "Big worm, I don't have time to joke with you. In my original world, becoming a god meant that one must dissipate their Physical Body, merge with the Laws of heaven and earth, lose self-awareness, and turn into all things in the world. That is, in essence, a form of death."

He turned to Tianmeng and asked meaningfully: "If it were you, would you be willing to become a god in this way?"

The Tianmeng Ice Silkworm was stunned. It sought to become a god for eternal life, to be able to stay with its beloved, so how could it be willing to choose such a "becoming a god"? It shook its head honestly: "No."

"Then that settles it." Electrolux smiled slightly, "Every world has its own rules, and one cannot generalize."

He looked back at Huo Yuhao, his tone becoming solemn: "Although my memories have not fully recovered, I still possess some unique abilities. After I absorb enough mental force and recover more memories, I can teach you some skills! Consider it as payment for staying in your Mental Sea and absorbing those medicinal powers just now."

Upon hearing this, Huo Yuhao quickly bowed respectfully: "Then thank you very much, old sir."

"No need for formalities." Electrolux waved his hand, "You go out first; that little girl outside seems very concerned about your condition."

"Okay."

In the real world, Furina was nervously observing Huo Yuhao's changes. When she saw the grey light flash in Huo Yuhao's eyes, her heart, which had been hanging, finally settled. That deep grey, that ancient aura, all were declaring one fact—

"It was a success... Electrolux has finally awakened."

Just then, Huo Yuhao slowly opened his eyes. Unlike usual, those eyes now held an indescribable depth. Although this change was fleeting, it was still keenly captured by Furina.

"How are you feeling, Yuhao?" Furina walked up with concern and carefully examined the young man.

Huo Yuhao rubbed his still-throbbing temples, his tone filled with disbelief: "Sister Furina, my Mental Sea has become quite lively. In addition to Brother Tianmeng, there is another old gentleman who calls himself Electrolux. He said it was because of the immortal medicine you gave me that he woke up."

"Is there any harm to you?" Furina asked, pretending not to know, her eyes showing just the right amount of concern.

Huo Yuhao quickly shook his head: "There shouldn't be any harm. That old gentleman said that after he remembers more things, he will teach me some skills, as payment for staying in my Mental Sea."

Only then did Furina show a relieved smile and gently patted Huo Yuhao's shoulder: "Isn't that great? In this way, you have gained another teacher to guide you."

"Yes." Huo Yuhao also smiled, but then hesitated, "However, Brother Tianmeng doesn't seem to get along very well with that old gentleman..."

"You don't need to worry about that." Furina couldn't help but smile, "It's normal for there to be some friction between powerful people. The important thing is that they are both willing to help you grow, and that is enough."

She looked out the window, her gaze seemingly traversing time and space, seeing the distant future: "With the guidance of these two teachers, plus your own efforts, I believe it won't be long before you can carve out a place for yourself in this world."

Huo Yuhao looked in the direction of her gaze and saw the morning light, with golden sunlight covering the earth. He clenched his fists, his eyes flashing with a firm light.

"I will definitely work hard, Sister Furina. For my mother, and for everyone who cares about me."

In Huo Yuhao's Mental Sea, Electrolux quietly felt everything in the outside world. When he heard the young man's vow, a gratified smile appeared on his aged face.

"An interesting kid, and an even more interesting little girl..." He muttered to himself, "This world seems much more interesting than I imagined."

And in another corner of the Mental Sea, although the Tianmeng Ice Silkworm was still sulking, it had to admit that with Electrolux's addition, Huo Yuhao's future indeed had many more possibilities.

"Fine, fine, just consider it for Yuhao's sake..." Tianmeng muttered, and the ten golden lights gradually calmed down.

A new ray of dawn was quietly shining into the trajectory of this young man's fate. And what no one knew was that this unexpected encounter would one day change the pattern of the entire world.
