"Get off me Acharya! You can't intervene like this". Yuvraj struggles to release his wrists trapped by Acharya's fingers.
"I have to intervene when you are gonna pull off such hazardous technique due to your reckless nature". Acharya Lokesh coldly responds without any smile on the face.
"Acharya what spell are you talking about?". Vinay hesitantly looks at Yuvraj with a flicker of doubt on his face.
"He was going to use…. a tantra spell that would have knocked the air out of your gut". Acharya Lokesh regaining courage to respond with honesty.
"Nah this old man is yapping. I was not going to use such tantra technique". Yuvraj hesitantly laughs while being pinned down.
"Oh really? You can bluff about your intentions to me but are you gonna do that to your best friend too?". Acharya Lokesh tilts his head looking for any remorse on Yuvraj's face.
"Fine. I… was about to use my wind punch to win this duel anyhow". Yuvraj lets out a small sigh admitting his intention.
"Hmmm. Didn't take that much time to spill out all of the information. You really suck at hiding truth". Acharya Lokesh grins with a mischievous smile.
"But why? I thought you were really good at everything so why did you decide to use that technique?". Vinay asks reaching towards them with his voice carrying uncertainty.
"You have crushed his ego with that deception attack so that's why he tried to use that attack". Acharya Lokesh nods with a knowing look at Yuvraj with grin on his face.
"Don't listen to this old man. He has probably not taken his afternoon medicine". Yuvraj panics and cries out for assuring him.
For a moment Vinay stands there silently his eyes looking at the ground. His fists clenched till the knuckles went white. He takes a deep breath and exclaims.
"Awesome!! I am so happy that I was able to force him to use a tantra technique with my raw strength. I am really strong! Hurray!
Vinay laughs with tear of joy and jumps with enthusiasm.
"Woah is he serious?". Yuvraj's face falls straight into disbelief with his eye blinking.
"He is a really stupid kid just like you Yuvraj". Acharya Lokesh raises his eyebrow and looking at Yuvraj with disappointment.
"Hey I am not stupid!". Yuvraj yells at him wobbling his torso to free himself.
"Acharya, I want to learn these techniques too!". Vinay steps in closer still dozed with joy and excitement.
"Oh, I was just about start your tantra spell training after your little hustle with this idiot". Acharya Lokesh releases Yuvraj's arm and stands firmly.
"Finally, I am freed from this evil man's clutches". Yuvraj rotates his wrists as he stands up looking at Acharya with annoyance in his eyes.
"Let's not waste our precious time and follow me for further training". Acharya Lokesh puts his hand back starting to walk straight with a glance at Vinay before moving.
"Okay I also want to use tantra techniques like Yuvraj! This is gonna be so fun!". Vinay walks on toes with acharya his voice sounding very childish with overwhelming joy.
"Yuvraj, you need to continue your training which I gave you last week". Achary Lokesh stops his feet and turn to face Yuvraj.
"Yuvraj… Yuvraj?!". Vinay turns back as he repeats looking at Yuvraj who is stopped at one spot and looking at his fists.
"Oh sorry, I spaced out. Yeah, Acharya I will continue my practice. So, Vinay, See you around". Yuvraj snaps back with few blinks and nods firmly hesitantly responding. Yuvraj starts walking opposite to them both Acharya and Vinay staring at his retreating form.
"What's the matter, Acharya?". Vinay asks with a concern in his voice and looking uncertain.
"Nothing, just someone smashed his pride that's all". Acharya Lokesh shook his head with dismissing tone in his voice.
Acharya Lokesh continues walking with a firm pace and heading towards a dim room with multiple shelves. He switches on the lights and the ray of light scorching from bulb lighten up the library with symbols made on walls displaying different artistic carvings with warriors holding different weapons and even some carvings illustrating the usage of tantra spells.
"Woah this place looks unbelievable. If the libraries are designed this way, then I might not avoid sitting there". Vinay's eyes scanning the marvellous as he chuckles a bit.
"This is nothing compared to a spot you are about to see". Acharya Lokesh softly smiles looking noticeably interested in guiding Vinay.
With further steps Vinay gaps seeing a giant statue of one of the carvings on the wall. The statue displaying two warriors facing each other with a fighting stance for an eternal duel. One warrior drawing sword facing the second warrior and the second warrior's hands crossed forming a V shape with index finger closed and rest of fingers suspended in air trying to cast a tantra spell.
"There it is. The book of tantra spells. It might look heavy but it does have information for everything". Acharya Lokesh snatches a heavy weighted book from the desk and keeping at the base of the statue.
"Book of tantra spells? Will I be able to perform wind punch like Yuvraj?". Vinay steps in closer to the base his gaze locked on to the book.
"This book contains all tantra techniques registered from all the years this academy has sheltered the greatest assassins of the time". Acharya Lokesh opens the book with pages expanding as with pages flipped one by one.
"Well, you will not be able to use Wind techniques… But there are some tantra techniques you can currently choose ". Achary Lokesh responds while flipping the pages.
"Oh, look here is Yuvraj's name and his name is Yuvraj Swaminathan?". Vinay's gasps staring at the registered name of Yuvraj with his surname revealed with multiples names written under the huge columns and margins of the page.
"Pretty much all assassins that have possessed tantra techniques have been registered in this book with their technique mentioned under their rank". Acharya Lokesh swiftly points his finger at each column as he continues.
"Look here, my name is also registered on this page". Acharya Lokesh's fingers stops at one row and circling around the column as he explains.
"Lokesh Srivastav? That is your real name, Acharya?". Vinay raises his eye brows as he speaks up with a glance at his name again.
"Yeah, it is my name but don't you dare call me Srivastav Sir otherwise I am going to bury you alive, you hear me?". Acharya Lokesh eyes burn with rage and leaning closer to him as much as Vinay can feel the hot breath from him.
"Okay Acharya, geez cut some slack, would you?". Vinay hesitantly smiles putting his hand to defend his face.
"Alright here are the following techniques you can register with.... Camouflage suite technique, Sword cutter technique and Aerial jump technique". Acharya Lokesh explains swiftly
"Well, I am confused so could you break down these techniques for me?". Vinay shakes off his head with puzzled confusion on his face.
"Sure…. Camouflage technique lets you be invisible for everyone once it is used but it drains a lot of control over eternal essence so it is risk taking ability". Acharya Lokesh continues with his explanation
"Meanwhile Sword cutter technique enables the mastery of swords even if they are damaged or corroded which means your disposed weapon isn't your liability but an asset. But this technique is plagued by with its shares of flaws like it can not recover any weapon once it has been fully unusable and it requires constant concentration to make the semi used weapon to do damage parallel to normal sword attacks".
"Ah damn it is very hard to choose since you are spitting out every freaking weakness of the techniques you introduce". Vinay frustratedly groans and keeps his hands behind his neck.
"Every tantra technique has equal strengths and weaknesses. So would you keep your imaginations aside and analyse what is most suitable for your combat?". Acharya Lokesh responds calmy pointing a finger at Vinay.
"Fine! I get it Acharya!". Vinay continues as he murmurs to himself
"I should have brought Yuvraj with me at least he would have made these things sound interesting ".
"And… for the last tantra technique left… Aerial Jump. This tantra technique allows you to jump at least up to eleven feet high in the air and it prevents any damage you can sustain if you fell directly on the ground if you jump high in the air. But this technique is used mostly for an escape route during any intense battle where you are outnumbered or retreating as fast as you can". Acharya Lokesh snaps his fingers as he explains cautiously scanning Vinay's face to find his answer.
"I actually want to take aerial jump for my tantra technique". Vinay nods with determination his gaze follows the floor imagining how he can jump high in the air.
"Are you sure you want to register this technique? Because once it is chosen then you can't reflect your selection mistake in the future". Acharya Lokesh raises his eye brow with a flicker of doubt in his voice.
"Yeah, I am totally sure about my decision. Besides the Aerial jump technique sounds cool and epic". Vinay exclaims with his hands forming fists unable to control his joy leaking out from his body.
"Take your finger and coat it with the ink and put a stamp on this column ". Acharya Lokesh points at the stamp box as he guides him for registration.
"Seriously? This Assassin academy still uses outdated methods for registration? Come on We are living in 2023 So have a modernistic approach for once". Vinay lets out an exaggerated sigh with disbelief.
"Would you yourself put a finger stamp on this paper or should I cut your finger and do the stamping by myself? ". Acharya Lokesh growls dangerously and his arms crossed.
"Oh... okay I will stamp it like a good boy please don't hurt me. Here I stamped it! Now please don't threaten me like that." Vinay immediately stamps the column beside his technique chosen and his voice shook with panic sweat dripping from forehead.
As the stamp mark is displayed on the column, Vinay feels sudden heaviness in his head his breaths get heavier and senses being intense. He can hear his heart beat getting faster and everything turns normal, senses getting back on their track. The vision gets a lot clearer than before.
"What the heck was that?". Vinay pants heavily putting a hand to his thigh trying to catch a breath.
"Best to describe this as unlocking the ability to manipulate Roop and Aroop for performing tantra techniques. Did your body feel heavier and more intense than usual? ". Acharya Lokesh studying his state with eyes needing assurance.
"Yeah, it kinda did. It felt as if I was having a panic attack.". Vinay straightens up his posture and takes a deep breath.
"Good. Now let's test this tantra technique on the ground. Let's go". Acharya Lokesh heads out with firm pace with a glance at Vinay before moving out.
"Okay let's go! I can't wait to see how I will look cool using this awesome technique". Vinay sprints towards the door face breaking into smiles and excitement flashing his eyes.
At the training grounds, the place was quiet and the ground is covered by a green blanket of grass across the field.
"Now listen to me carefully, to use this tantra technique you need to concentrate and you start to imagine the shape of Roop and Aroop making a balance in your core while eternal essence flowing through the balance carving a path towards your every corner of the body". Acharya Lokesh explains while leaning closer to him, his voice turning more serious and clearer.
"You could have just said "concentrate" instead of giving a boring speech which could make me sleep within minutes". Vinay grins with a mocking smile.
"You have adapted the same annoying tone that Yuvraj usually has ". Acharya Lokesh hisses with annoyance gritting his teeth.
"Look here and behold yourself to see something groundbreaking for sure!!". Vinay closes his eyes as he exclaims trying to concentrate.
In his inner mind, he senses a wheel of two energies emerging with blue and black forms separated by an invisible wall and eternal essence flowing like a stream of river all around the place. He notices that eternal essence is starting to flow towards the core and just as he notices the disruption in the balance of Roop and Aroop but he moves his hand facing the disruption and it starts to fades the disruption and eternal essence flows throughout the Roop and Aroop.
"So that's what he was referring to? Seems like a magic to me". Vinay softly laughs amused by what he is witnessing within his core.
Back to reality, he opens his eyes and then cries out.
Aerial Jump!!!
He launches himself in the air covering the distance of at least twenty-three feet, everything slows down feeling suspended in the air.
"It feels so light…. Few more jumps I might be able to greet birds then". Vinay's inner thoughts his face displaying a blissful smile.
Then he starts to descend towards the ground forgetting what gravity is as he is lost in the bliss of flying.
"Oh no he is going break his legs for sure". Acharya Lokesh's eye lids squeeze to look at the descending form of Vinay.
Vinay realizes that he is falling down like plane crashing down. He focuses back to his core but lost focus and his emotions switched off for a minute.
"Aaaah I am gonna break my legs!! ". Vinay screams top of his lungs just he is about crash down distant only few feet apart from the ground.
