"As you can see, this is your status. It's my first time seeing a newcomer with three skills right after receiving a god's favor."
Loki sat on the edge of the bed, sighing with genuine feeling.
Truly, you live and learn. Probably, aside from the legendary human heroes she'd never seen, few could be this outrageous, right?
Whether it was the first and second skills related to Heracles, or the skill reflecting the ability to create infinite magic swords, they were all, in a sense, exceptional and quite abnormal.
Enduring the torment brought by the Hydra's poison?
Based on her knowledge of the Heracles myth, the Hydra's poison was no trivial matter.
Having endured such potent poison, perhaps Emiya Ritsuka indeed had a significant connection to Heracles...
Illegitimate daughter?
"From now on, you can go to the Dungeon to train and improve your status. Come find me directly when you feel ready."
For a super-large-scale group like the Loki Familia, with members numbering in the thousands, updating everyone's status individually was impossible. Loki wasn't idle to that extent. Moreover, most Adventurers took a long time to accumulate enough growth for an update.
Only first-class Adventurers and above received such preferential treatment.
Due to her personal strength, talent, and other reasons, Ritsuka was also categorized by Loki as a member of this tier within the Familia.
"Should I go now?"
"Of course not. We're going to have dinner now. Training can start tomorrow."
The Loki Familia had a rule: breakfast and dinner must be eaten together, unless celebrating outside.
Members of the Familia must wait for all members who went adventuring in the Dungeon to return before dining together. Even if it made the dining hall somewhat crowded, it was a method to strengthen Familia cohesion.
And a rather clever one at that.
"Dinner together? Then I'll head back to my room first, wash up a bit... I'll take my leave for now."
"OK, be quick."
Leaving Loki's room, Ritsuka let out a sigh of relief, leaning her back against the door and lowering her gaze.
Unconsciously, the corners of her mouth slowly turned upwards.
She still had a chance, a chance to return to that world where human history was destined to end, a world without hope.
She also had a chance to search for Miyu, whom she had sent to another world, to see how that girl was doing... a chance to seek a miracle to revive Sakura...
———
In her room, after a simple wash, Ritsuka sat on the bed and raised her right hand.
The sparkling crystal dice lit up, illuminating the room which had grown somewhat dim as night fell outside. A screen of light appeared.
——
[Optional task completed. Preparing to distribute rewards.]
[Character template reward, limited to this world. Beginning random selection...]
[Congratulations, you have obtained 'Character Template': Ais Wallenstein (Sword Princess)]
——
The crystal dice began to tumble in her palm. Rolling for a few seconds over the grid spaces not occupied by miscellaneous items or the two existing templates, it slowly came to a stop.
One of the blank faces lit up. A golden-haired girl, ethereal like a doll yet carrying an imposing aura, materialized.
Ais Wallenstein.
Ritsuka's impression of this girl wasn't deep. She only knew she held the record for the fastest level-up from lv1 to lv2, and that her reputation was very prominent, her swordsmanship superb, and so on.
All of it was hearsay from outside.
