Enuma Elish: Ea
It was a weapon that existed in the world before the very concept of a "sword" was born.
As far as the eye could see, there was nothing like a blade; the body of the sword was cylindrical and divided into three segments. At first glance, it even looked somewhat like a fire poker.
However, for Ritsuka, who could project most bladed weapons and could even craft a "Pseudo-Excalibur" right now...
This sword was unreplicable.
Even though, as a Divine Construct, this weapon should inherently be inferior to Excalibur, which is a Star Construct, its internal essence was completely impossible to perceive.
It was on a level countless times higher than splitting mountains or burning seas!
Just staring at it gave one the sensation of looking into hell, with a pressure that was nearly suffocating.
"To be able to project a god-tier armament while maintaining an Unlimited Reality Marble..."
"You are even more tenacious than I imagined."
Angelica, standing on a higher point of the snowfield, looked down at Emiya Ritsuka, who was nearing her limit, as the divine sword in her hand began to rotate slowly.
The small cracks on her body became increasingly severe, threatening to shatter completely at any moment. Ritsuka looked up at that unique sword and suddenly felt like giving up the fight.
She had no means to counter that thing.
"Your very existence, and that forged Heroic Spirit power, is an insult to human history."
"Whether it be your indifferent conviction like that of a dead person, or that disgusting ability, let them all turn to ash under this sword!"
Holding the peerless divine sword high, a crimson storm raged across the snowfield.
The Unlimited Reality Marble trembled; that sword was a world-targeting blade. As the mental world of Unlimited Blade Works, it would inevitably shatter if attacked by that Noble Phantasm.
There was no doubt that the Noble Phantasm, whose power might even exceed a full-power Excalibur, could potentially overturn all of Fuyuki after destroying the Unlimited Reality Marble.
When that time came, it wouldn't just be a "gas explosion" with single-digit casualties.
"Honestly, having to make me exhaust everything... can't you just let me go quietly?"
With a bitter smile at the corners of her mouth, Ritsuka clenched her fists. her body began to shatter piece by piece, and blood flowed down what remained of her form.
With dead eyes, she raised her hand and pointed at the figure already standing in the sky.
"Even an infinite number of swords probably cannot offset that ultimate sword, a divine artifact even more exaggerated than the holy sword." Ritsuka's clouded golden pupils suddenly lit up. "Then let me try—with this final body, to resist a peerless divine sword just once!"
A sea of swords.
Countless, varied swords rose from the ground, gathering behind Ritsuka.
Famous swords, sharp swords, divine swords, precious swords... demonic blades, keen edges, blunt blades, sharp points... with a magnificent momentum, the sea of blades converged on the snowfield and finally charged violently toward that supreme divine sword, even if the final result would undoubtedly be to be crushed by that singular blade.
"Return to the beginning!"
Angelica swung Enuma Elish down violently, the tip pointing directly at the sea of swords—
"Enuma Elish!"
Terrifying wind pressure descended from the sky, crashing straight into the sea of swords.
The power, continuously condensed, crushed through spatial faults, and the scales immediately began to tilt. Not a single Noble Phantasm within Unlimited Blade Works could hold out for even a moment.
The crimson hurricane fell downward with peerless force!
Countless fragments fell onto the snowfield below.
Ritsuka took a deep breath and lowered her head slightly. The seemingly endless snowfield was full of cracks, just like her body. Only by overdrawing her own mana and that of the Reality Marble had she barely managed to gather enough.
Legend has it that Heracles once completed twelve trials—trials that no human could complete.
Based on the Twelve Labors, the servant Heracles possessed a series of Noble Phantasms derived from them, namely the Twelve Labors and the Twelve Glories.
One of those trials was to "pluck the golden apples of the Hesperides."
In this trial, Heracles used his wisdom to trick Atlas, the god of the sky in greek mythology who carried the heavens, and obtained the treasure known as the golden apple.
And in one part of it, Heracles took Atlas's place and held up the sky for a time... "Might that held up the sky and split the sea!"
Clenching her left fist, she swung it with all her might toward the crimson storm at the tip of the sea of swords. Ritsuka roared as she used a trump card she previously couldn't activate because her replacement level wasn't high enough.
This was a Noble Phantasm that could be launched with a bow or with one's hand.
With a bow, it would be an A++ Anti-Fortress attack; with the hand, its power would decrease somewhat, but it might be easier to hit, becoming an A+ Anti-Army attack.
Overall, releasing it with a bow would be the best choice.
But with only one hand left, she no longer had the ability to pull a bowstring... A beam of light erupted from her hand as Ritsuka triggered a Phantasm Collapse on herself. The Noble Phantasm Twelve Labors that existed within her body all collapsed, further transforming into pure mana.
A wave of crimson mana rose from her body.
By squeezing out enough mana to cause a qualitative change in the Noble Phantasm, as her body completely shattered and dissipated, the punch that burned everything reached a power equivalent to its use with a bow.
"Ughaaaaaa—!!"
The crimson light and shadow swallowed the remaining sea of swords, surged upstream, and finally collided with the storm released by Enuma Elish.
A dazzling light filled the entire Unlimited Reality Marble.
———
With the aftershocks of the Noble Phantasm collision and the disappearance of its maintainer, the Unlimited Blade Works shattered like glass.
Enuma Elish, its power greatly depleted by the sea of swords, was eventually swallowed back by the light beam from that punch. The reversing radiance burst out from the top of the cave after breaking through the Unlimited Reality Marble.
The crimson torrent, mixed with black, swallowed everything from the mountainside of Mount Enzou upward. The flow of light shot straight into the sky, dispersing the thick clouds from the center.
The heavy snow falling over Fuyuki City was forcibly cleared.
In mid-air, Angelica, who had barely saved herself using Displacement Thaumaturgy, fell rapidly and nearly knelt on the ground.
"Hahaha..."
Cold sweat slid down her cheeks as the class card automatically detached from her body, and a feeling of near-collapse welled up from deep within.
Blood was flowing down her side.
"Was that... an Anti-Divinity Noble Phantasm?"
Even though she had urgently retracted Enuma Elish and used Displacement Thaumaturgy to escape, she was still grazed by that punch, and her entire arm almost disappeared.
Just from that, while her defensive Noble Phantasms shattered, the class card also detached due to the severe trauma she sustained.
That strike was an attack capable of crushing even a careless King of Heroes!
Due to the feat of holding up the blue sky and the Avenger class's hatred toward the gods, all of her Noble Phantasms had undergone subtle changes. "Might that held up the sky and split the sea" had also changed from an Anti-Demonic special attack to an Anti-Divinity special Noble Phantasm.
"Did that fellow get pulverized? More importantly, Miyu-sama..."
Investigating that Noble Phantasm was no longer meaningful. Angelica used a simple healing spell on herself and then walked toward the altar under the night sky.
The upper half of Mount Enzou had already vanished into nothingness during the Noble Phantasm clash.
Angelica clutched her arm, her expression solemn. "What on earth happened? Miyu-sama has disappeared, and even the Holy Grail Ritual itself is gone."
Looking at the empty altar, the aftershocks of the Noble Phantasm had left it full of cracks, with nothing on top.
It was as if it were mocking the Einzbern family, who thought they had calculated everything.
