"Lydia! Girl you didn't tell me!" Phantasia said as she barged in...well, not exactly barged. She phased straight through the wall as usual and floated right into a Lydia who was trapped in that hazy limbo between staying awake and being asleep. But Phantasia's voice was loud enough to yank her straight out of it.
"What? Tell you what?" Lydia jerked upright, heart pounding, eyes darting around the dorm room like someone had just announced a pop quiz.
"You are literally the hottest news in school… well, not that you weren't before, but you have actually earned full attention now!" Phantasia replied, gleefully hovering in lazy circles around the room like a hyperactive ghost on caffeine.
"Tell me what is it??" Lydia was fully alert now, ears perked, leaning forward like the answer might actually solve all her problems in life, she was always in for the gossip even if it was about her.
