Chapter 40 - Chapter 40: Zero-Point Impact

The final confrontation moved into the Royal Tombs, deep beneath the city. The air was thick with the scent of ancient dust and ozone. Crocodile was desperate now. He was no longer trying to rule Alabasta; he was trying to 'Crash' the entire world to stop Luffy.

"If I go down, the story ends here!" Crocodile roared. He summoned a massive 'Desert Spada', but instead of sand blades, they were giant 'Delete Keys' that sliced through the stone pillars like they were made of paper.

Amine crawled toward a stone tablet—the Poneglyph. He placed his hand on it. [Accessing Restricted Files: The Pluton Blueprint.]

"I can't let him crash the world," Amine whispered, his vision fading to black. "Luffy! I'm sending you the last of my ink! I'm giving you the 'Author's Authority' for ten seconds!"

Luffy felt a surge of power that nearly tore his body apart. He saw the world as a series of sketches. He saw Crocodile as a poorly drawn villain who had overstayed his welcome.

"It's time to end this," Luffy said. He drew a deep breath, his chest expanding until he looked like a god of white ink.

"Gomu Gomu no... STORM: REMASTERED!"

Luffy unleashed a barrage of punches so fast they created a 'Temporal Loop'. Hundreds of fists hit Crocodile simultaneously, each one carrying a bit of Amine's 'Creative Will'. They weren't just hitting his body; they were rewriting his character.

"No! My power! My kingdom!" Crocodile's digital body began to dissolve into millions of sparkling pixels. "The Origin Author... he'll kill you for this!"

"Let him try," Luffy shouted as the final blow sent Crocodile flying through the ceiling of the tomb, high into the Alabasta sky, where he exploded into a harmless rain of ink-droplets.

As Crocodile vanished, the red 'Error' sky turned into a beautiful, natural sunset. The 'Delete' command was gone. Alabasta was safe.

Amine fell onto the cold floor of the tomb, the golden stylus turning into dust in his hand. He looked at the system screen one last time before it went dark.
