Aria's POV

I spent two days at Lucian's place in Bloodmoon territory trying to decompress from everything that had happened. The house was quiet and peaceful, far from the chaos in my own pack lands. Lucian had given me space, but he also made sure I was never truly alone. His presence was comforting, like a warm blanket on a cold night.

For two days, I slept in his big, soft bed. The sheets smelled like him – a mix of pine and something fresh. I ate his food, mostly because he kept putting plates in front of me. But I was only pretending that my life wasn't falling apart. Everything felt heavy. My mind kept replaying the fights, the betrayals, and the danger.

I avoided my phone as much as possible. Every time I checked it, there were new messages. Wolves I didn't even know were sending condolences or asking for comments about the Council situation. Some were kind. Others felt pushy. It was too much. I didn't have the energy to reply to any of them.
