Tang San stood calmly beside Xiao Laoda, his gaze steady.
The surrounding upperclassmen students looked at Tang San with deep respect.
That day, Tang San had entered their dormitory. Xiao Laoda had originally intended to teach him a lesson, but Tang San single-handedly defeated several of them, even overpowering Xiao Laoda himself.
Because of this, their leader was no longer Xiao Laoda, but Tang San.
Tang San was now respectfully called Third Brother!
Tang San calmly observed Xiao Wu, finding her somewhat endearing. Her formidable strength also stirred a fondness within him.
"Don't worry, Third Brother," Wang Sheng declared. "I'll take on the next match personally and show you how I'll teach her a lesson!"
Tang San's gaze remained calm as he replied, "I'm afraid you're no match for her!"
"How could that be? How could I possibly lose to that little brat? Third Brother, just watch!" With that, Wang Sheng strode onto the arena.
Xiao Laoda stepped into the arena, glaring at Xiao Wu. "Little girl," he sneered, "if you lose, you'll become my pet rabbit. No wait, you'll be Third Brother's pet!"
Xiao Wu scoffed. "Hmph, as if I'd ever lose!"
"Watch me teach you a lesson, little girl!" Xiao Chenyu declared, unleashing his Martial Soul.
"Xiao Chenyu, Martial Soul: Wolf, 11th-level Battle Soul Master!"
Xiao Wu calmly met his gaze, smiling. "Xiao Wu, Martial Soul: Rabbit, 10th-level Battle Soul Master!"
"Little bunny, don't you know that wolves eat rabbits?" Xiao Chenyu snarled, lunging at her.
He moved with wolf-like ferocity, closing the distance in an instant.
"Hmph! You despicable big bad wolf!"
Xiao Wu's lithe body easily evaded his attack. With a swift kick to his arm, she sent him staggering backward several steps.
*Thud!*
Xiao Chenyu stared at her in surprise, not expecting her to be so strong.
"Little girl, just wait until I teach you your place!"
He charged at her again.
"Hmph! You think you can handle me? Just watch how awesome your Xiao Wu-jie is!"
Her body flowed like water as she effortlessly dodged his attacks. Then, with a powerful kick to his abdomen, she struck with devastating force.
Xiao Chenyu's massive body was sent flying by the kick, landing a full three meters away.
His subordinates were utterly stunned.
Seeing their leader sent flying, their perception of Xiao Wu had completely changed.
*How could such a small girl be so powerful?*
Tang San looked at Xiao Wu, his interest in her growing.
At that moment, Xiao Wu turned to Xiao Laoda. "Do you have anyone else to send out? If not, from now on, I'm the boss of this academy, and you'll all call me Xiao Wu-jie!"
"I'll fight you!" Tang San stepped forward, his small frame barely visible.
He slowly helped Xiao Laoda to his feet, then walked up to Xiao Wu.
Smiling, he looked her in the eye, his interest in her undeniable.
"Who are you?" Xiao Wu asked, staring at Tang San.
Tang San replied calmly, "My name is Tang San. Like you, I'm a first-year student. And now, it's my turn to test your Martial Soul!"
"Alright then, bring it on! Whoever you are, you'll be my defeated opponent!" Xiao Wu declared, her hands on her hips.
Without hesitation, she charged toward Tang San.
Suddenly, she flicked her head, and the scorpion braid on her back transformed into a dark shadow, shooting toward Tang San's neck.
Tang San was no weakling. Seeing the scorpion braid lashing toward him, he immediately retreated a step while simultaneously raising his left hand to grab Xiao Wu's hair.
Xiao Wu's hand rose with her braid. The moment Tang San moved, he realized her hand had already risen as well.
Before his hand could even touch her long hair, Xiao Wu abruptly tilted her head back. The scorpion braid soared past his palm, while her own hand pressed against it.
In a bizarre twist, her arm contorted unnaturally. Not only did it coil around her own hand, but it also extended instantly, wrapping around her forearm.
Simultaneously, her other hand rose and began coiling around itself. The airborne scorpion braid descended like a third hand, lashing toward Tang San's neck.
Xiao Wu's body floated effortlessly through the air, as light as a wisp of cotton, following Tang San's movements. Even the most refined Ghost Shadow Perplexing Track technique proved useless in this situation.
To avoid Xiao Wu's scorpion braid, Tang San suddenly tilted his head back and arched his body backward.
But just as Tang San channeled his energy, Xiao Wu suddenly released her grip. A powerful force erupted from his waist, instantly disrupting his balance and sending him tumbling backward.
*Thud!*
A resounding crash echoed as Tang San crashed to the ground, pinned by Xiao Wu.
"How's that? Convinced now?" Xiao Wu asked, gazing down at Tang San with triumphant glee.
Tang San's gaze remained calm and unflinching as he slowly rose to his feet.
"So you're Xiao Wu, huh? You're truly formidable. It seems I'll have to take you seriously now!" As he spoke, Blue Silver Grass sprouted from his body.
A yellow Soul Ring materialized around Tang San.
The crowd erupted in shock. Those standing near Xiao Chenyu immediately cried out:
"Quick, look!"
"Third Brother has a century-old Soul Ring!"
"This is insane! A century-old Soul Ring means Third Brother is guaranteed to win!"
"Third Brother, crush that brat and avenge us!"
Behind Tang San, voices roared in unison.
Tang San looked at Xiao Wu and smiled calmly. "Be careful. I'm going serious now!"
"Bring it on! Your Xiao Wu-jie isn't afraid of you!" Xiao Wu retorted, planting her hands on her hips.
Instantly, Tang San activated his Profound Heaven Art, channeling its power into his legs. With his feet tracing the Ghost Shadow Perplexing Track, he began to evade and maneuver against Xiao Wu on the empty playground.
In a flash, Tang San appeared behind Xiao Wu.
A smirk played on his lips.
"Entangle!"
Countless strands of Blue Silver Grass shot out, instantly binding Xiao Wu and preventing her from closing the distance.
As a member of the Tang Sect, Tang San specialized in hidden weapons. Why would he engage in a direct confrontation with Xiao Wu?
Having immobilized Xiao Wu, Tang San casually picked up a few pebbles from the ground. One of them shot out from his palm.
Xiao Wu panicked. Trapped by the Blue Silver Grass, she couldn't dodge.
Just as danger loomed, a white figure suddenly appeared before her. Hope surged in Xiao Wu's heart.
A strikingly handsome youth stood between her and Tang San, a pebble clutched in his hand.
"Attacking with hidden weapons is despicable!" the handsome youth declared. His voice rang out as the crowd recognized him: Qian Yu, the leader of the work-study students!
