The middle-aged man chuckled, carrying the shields like a large bundle, and prepared to leave.
Zhu Zhuqing seemed to realize what was about to happen, and disregarding the depletion of her spirit power, she relentlessly used her spirit skills to tear at the middle-aged man's shields.
After all her struggles proved futile, she bit her lip tightly to stifle her sobs, yet large tears streamed uncontrollably from her eyes.
Just then, a sudden voice pierced the darkness, causing Zhu Zhuqing to stiffen.
"Hey, you sleazy guy over there, what kind of skill is it to bully a young girl?"
The middle-aged man paused, frowning as he looked over.
Not far away, a tall young man was giving him the middle finger.
"Oh ho, quite a few fearless people tonight
," the middle-aged man said disdainfully. "Little brat, trying to be a hero and save the damsel in distress? Are you even fully grown yet? Don't you know your own limitations?" Four
