"Mission accomplished! I never thought that one day I would actually become a Jinchūriki."
After completing the experiment, Ryūjin clapped his hands lightly. His expression was relaxed and satisfied, and it was clear he was in an excellent mood.
However, a rather intriguing thought suddenly surfaced in his mind.
What if, one day, he managed to generate the sign in locations for all Nine Tailed Beasts and successfully completed every one of those sign ins, obtaining the Chakra of each of them?
If that really happened, then what would be the result?
Would he end up becoming a Jinchūriki of a weakened Ten Tails?
Even if it was only a weakened Ten Tails, it should still possess Six Paths power, right?
If that was the case, then wouldn't he directly step into the Six Paths level?
Just thinking about that possibility made Ryūjin feel a surge of excitement rising in his chest.
More importantly, the idea itself was not impossible.
It was actually feasible.
When that realization struck him, Ryūjin's eyes sparkled with anticipation.
Still, after a brief moment of excitement, he could not help but complain about his own idea.
If he had to beat up each of the Nine Tailed Beasts before completing the sign in anyway, then why not simply seal all of them inside his body directly?
Using the Sign in System to extract Chakra in this roundabout way almost felt unnecessary.
With his current strength, capturing the Nine Tailed Beasts was not truly a difficult task.
However, Ryūjin only entertained the idea briefly. After calming down and thinking about it more carefully, he abandoned the plan.
First, he did not want to snatch away the nuclear weapons of the other hidden villages. Taking a little Chakra from them was one thing, but stealing the Tailed Beasts outright would be somewhat excessive.
Ryūjin was not the type of person who would casually do something like that.
Second, even if he did gather all of the Tailed Beasts and became the Ten Tails Jinchūriki, he was not certain whether he would control the Ten Tails or whether the Ten Tails would control him.
Even Obito had nearly become a puppet of the Ten Tails.
Ryūjin could not confidently claim that his willpower was as freakishly firm as Obito's.
Not to mention that the Ten Tails Obito became the Jinchūriki of was not even the complete Ten Tails. The most powerful Tailed Beast, Kurama, had not yet been merged into it at that time.
Third, if he really became the Ten Tails Jinchūriki, he would have to worry every single day that Black Zetsu might suddenly perform a "Black Tiger Steals the Heart" on him while he slept.
Living like that would be incredibly stressful.
Besides, Black Zetsu had been plotting for thousands of years just to resurrect his mother. To be honest, Ryūjin felt a tiny bit reluctant to completely ruin those plans.
Black Zetsu had not exactly lived an easy life either.
Still, capturing the Tailed Beasts temporarily just to extract some Chakra from them was actually quite a good idea.
The only real issue was that if Ryūjin wanted to carry out this plan perfectly, it would be somewhat difficult for him to do everything alone.
The problem was not his strength.
It was information.
If Ryūjin intended to target the Nine Tailed Beasts one by one, then the most convenient targets would obviously be Jinchūriki who had already left their villages and wandered through the Ninja World.
For example, the Four Tails Jinchūriki, Rōshi, had left the Hidden Stone Village because of a conflict with the Tsuchikage.
Another example was the Six Tails Jinchūriki, Utakata, the strange man known for using bubble techniques. That guy was even more eccentric than Rōshi. To make things even stranger, Utakata was actually a rogue ninja who had defected from the Hidden Mist Village.
These kinds of wandering Jinchūriki were naturally Ryūjin's best targets.
They were like rootless duckweed drifting across the Ninja World. If something happened to them, there was a good chance that nobody would even know.
Attacking them would not easily alert anyone.
Ryūjin only needed to extract the Tailed Beast from their bodies, complete the sign in once the location was generated, and then seal the Tailed Beast back inside.
No one would die.
Everyone would be happy.
Unfortunately, Ryūjin had no idea where those two eccentric Jinchūriki currently were.
Even for the other Jinchūriki, finding the right opportunity would require accurate intelligence.
Ryūjin rubbed his chin thoughtfully.
"Do I actually need to recruit a few lackeys?"
The more he thought about it, the more reasonable the idea sounded.
At that moment, the members of the Ninja World's most famous organization, the Akatsuki, began appearing one after another in his mind.
Kisame, the loyal and straightforward man who would rather commit suicide than leak information. Someone like that was incredibly reliable.
Then there was Kakuzu, the old man who valued money above everything else. As long as the payment was sufficient, he probably would not even blink if someone asked him to punch a hole in the sky.
And of course there was the Art Duo.
One of them was cold and aloof, completely devoted to his artistic ideals. The other was loud and eccentric, constantly arguing about the true meaning of art.
Even though the two of them were both a little strange because of their artistic obsession, they were still quite professional when it came to completing missions.
Ryūjin clicked his tongue.
"Damn... when you think about it like that, it's actually pretty exciting."
The idea sounded surprisingly promising.
"I'll think about it carefully after I get back to the village and see if I can come up with a practical plan."
At this point, Ryūjin was already having a hard time suppressing the excitement bubbling in his chest.
A space vortex appeared briefly.
In the next instant, Ryūjin's figure vanished.
He had already returned.
Just as he was about to switch back to his original body and head off to work, another thought suddenly crossed his mind.
"Um... Shukaku, I want to ask you something. What's your relationship with Kurama like?"
"The annoying fox? Why are you suddenly bringing him up?" Shukaku snorted coldly, his voice filled with obvious disdain the moment Kurama's name was mentioned.
It seemed that this version of Shukaku was almost identical to the original one.
Aside from the fact that he had been captured by Ryūjin and turned into a Jinchūriki at some unknown point, everything else was exactly the same.
Including his personality.
Especially his deep dislike for the Nine Tails.
"You seem really annoyed with the Nine Tails," Ryūjin said casually, clearly enjoying the gossip. "What exactly is the reason? Did he bully you or something?"
"Bully me? That stinking fox?" Shukaku sounded extremely displeased. "What's so impressive about having more tails?"
In the world of Naruto, the relationship between Shukaku and the Nine Tails had always been terrible. Whenever the two met, a fight was practically guaranteed.
Ryūjin had always been curious about the exact reason behind that hostility.
Unfortunately, the question clearly touched a sore spot.
Shukaku refused to say anything further.
"Fine, forget it. If you don't want to talk about it, then don't."
Ryūjin shrugged slightly before continuing.
"But let me tell you something important. Kurama is currently in Konoha. You should control your Chakra properly and make sure he doesn't sense your presence."
"What? Do I really need to be afraid of him?" Shukaku said stubbornly.
"You don't need to be afraid of him. I just don't want unnecessary trouble."
"Nani? What kind of nonsense is that? With your strength, what does the Nine Tails even count for? Why would you care about something like that?" Shukaku shouted in confusion.
Ryūjin chuckled softly.
"You wouldn't understand. If life was nothing but fighting and killing all the time, it would get boring pretty quickly. Living like a salted fish can actually be pretty enjoyable."
"Salted fish? You actually like eating that disgusting thing?"
Ryūjin fell silent.
For a brief moment, he seriously wondered whether communicating with a Tailed Beast was always this exhausting.
"Anyway, just promise me one thing," Ryūjin continued after a moment. "In half a year at most, I'll help you beat up the Nine Tails. Sound good?"
The second child had already been born.
At most, half a year from now, Naruto would also be born.
And when that happened, the Nine Tails attack on Konoha would follow.
That event would present the perfect opportunity for Ryūjin to extract some Chakra from Kurama.
Whether Shukaku liked it or not, Ryūjin was definitely going to make a move on the Nine Tails when the time came.
"Deal!"
The moment the idea of beating up the Nine Tails was mentioned, Shukaku immediately became energetic and agreed without hesitation.
Ryūjin was speechless again.
With the two of them hating each other this much, if he later obtained a weakened version of the Nine Tails through the sign in process...
Would those two idiots start fighting inside his body?
That would be seriously troublesome.
