The real problem was that these low-level Beast Pirates lacked awareness of their own limits. Seeing eight of them facing only three opponents, they sneered confidently and moved in, intending to overwhelm their enemies with sheer numbers.
What followed was a display of flashy yet poorly executed attacks, causing the Skypiea trio to frown.
Braham, once known for his steady temperament, had grown increasingly short-tempered after gaining the Inferno Sovereign Fruit. Watching a group of weaklings look down on them ignited his anger.
He raised his twin guns and unleashed a rapid barrage of Fire Explosive Rounds. Daifugo, Dobon, and Holdem failed to react in time and were struck head-on.
The explosions erupted instantly, and under the raging flames, the three collapsed without resistance.
Seeing this, Babanuki and the remaining fighters immediately dropped their arrogance. Their expressions tightened as they reached behind them, each pulling out a green bomb and hurling it toward the Skypiea trio.
Not far away, Queen's reckless use of poison weapons made it clear what these bombs contained.
"Earth Wall!"
Jebura slammed both hands onto the ground. A towering wall of earth surged upward, shielding the trio from the incoming poison bombs.
"Fall back!"
He stood and spread his arms. The earth wall expanded outward in all directions, forcing the smoke and debris to roll back while carrying the poisonous gas away.
Kamachiri and Braham advanced immediately, seizing the opening.
Babanuki and the others had barely escaped the spreading poison when they turned, only to find blazing explosive rounds and a golden spear already closing in on them.
"Boom! Boom!"
"Pfft!"
"Pfft!"
"Pfft!"
Among the Skypieans, there was no distinction between men and women in battle. Once the fight began, there were only allies and enemies.
The remaining five Tobiroppo were eliminated instantly.
Standing at the bow of the ship, Ash shook his head slightly.
Solitaire, Speed, and Ginrummy had been striking figures, and he felt the end had been unnecessarily brutal. Burning and cutting them down like that was excessive.
A clean finish would have been far more efficient.
Kamachiri and the others stepped out of the dust, brushing off their hands. It felt absurd that opponents of this level could serve as officers under a Yonko.
Their attention quickly shifted to the other battlefields.
Nearby, Who's Who was already in his hybrid form, yet Dicken remained in his normal state. The difference in their conditions made the gap in strength obvious.
The Ancient Zoan Saber-Toothed Tiger Fruit granted Who's Who impressive power, speed, and durability, but it meant little against the overwhelming abilities possessed by Ash's faction.
Dicken drove him back repeatedly, striking him with ease.
Not far from them, Sasaki was struggling even more.
Unlike Who's Who, Sasaki had already transformed fully into his triceratops form. His opponent, Dai Li Jack, had no intention of holding back.
Jack had missed earlier battles and entered this fight with full intensity.
His Devil Fruit, the Night Howler Fruit, was one of the most unusual among their group. His physical strength far surpassed that of his brothers, and each strike carried a force that seemed to shake the very core of his opponent.
The fact that Sasaki remained conscious after taking repeated hits spoke volumes about his endurance.
Jason had initially intended to face Sasaki, but seeing his younger brother claim the opponent, he turned and found only Black Maria remaining.
She towered over eight meters tall, her presence both imposing and alluring.
Recalling some of Ash's earlier remarks, Jason grinned.
"Hey, beautiful, I heard you're Kaido's woman. That true?"
Maria's face flushed faintly. She tilted her head, exposing her long neck, her voice soft.
"How bold of you to say something like that out loud."
Jason smirked, ready to continue, but suddenly a black spear shot toward him.
He dodged quickly and glanced back, only to realize it was not a spear at all, but one of her spider legs in her hybrid form.
"You serious? I was just talking!"
Despite his complaint, the sight of her transformed body made his skin crawl. Without hesitation, he turned and ran, kicking Ulti aside as he passed Jella.
"Switch!"
Jella watched Ulti get sent flying, then turned toward Black Maria charging at him.
"...It's just a spider."
He exhaled, then cracked his knuckles.
"Let's see what you've got."
Elsewhere, Tsuki was completely overwhelming Page One.
Despite possessing the Ancient Zoan Spinosaurus Fruit, Page One was still only fourteen. Aside from his Devil Fruit, his combat ability lacked refinement.
Against Tsuki, who had trained relentlessly and whose Haki was nearing its peak, the gap was overwhelming.
Tsuki treated the fight casually, almost like a game.
There was little else he could do.
His older brother Sali was currently being pushed back, but Tsuki had no intention of interfering. He understood clearly that joining the fight would not change the outcome.
Youki was clashing fiercely with King, while Pini had gained the upper hand against Queen after adapting to his fighting style.
Among the three, one was struggling, one was evenly matched, and one held the advantage.
On another front, Wyper was completely dominating his opponent, pressing forward relentlessly.
Tsuki glanced around.
Most of the Flying Six had already been reduced to punching bags. Dicken, Jason, and Dai Li Jack were fighting with ease while keeping an eye on the battlefield.
Jella, however, seemed far too focused on his own fight with Black Maria.
Tsuki dodged another bite from Page One, knocking him down again with a clean strike.
"We haven't even been in Wano that long, and it's already over?"
A hint of pride crept into his thoughts.
Then, in the distance, Kaido's booming laughter echoed across the battlefield.
"Uororororo! I acknowledge your strength, White Lion Sali! Join my Beast Pirates! If you can withstand my next attack, I'll give you a chance to challenge for a position among the All-Stars!"
"Thunder Bagua!"
