[Recap:- Jace found out that there is 'Marionettist' in Feysac Empire, St. Millon, so he decided to travel to the Feysac Empire to complete his long founded dream of 'Marionett Inception' where one Marionettist has a another Marionettist as his Marionett...., confusing stuff right?]
....
It was morning, and the streets were bustling with people and carriages.
But the environment was vastly different than what Jace was usually used to.
Currently, he was walking on the wide stone street—well, his marionette Christoph was, as the real him was hidden in a reflection and was possessing his marionette.
After sleeping for a few hours in the wooden cabin, Jace had directly teleported to St. Millon, the capital of the Feysac Empire.
Of course, he wasn't in the main layer, but rather outside its walls in the outer layer; traveling directly inside the walls would likely be unwise, as St. Millon was a literal fortress, and a highly fortified one at that.
But he was in St. Millon—as far as geography was concerned. The main city inside the walls was an exclusive place for the Church of the God of Combat, the military plaza, and some other stuff...
Jace doubted the reason he came here would be inside the inner layer anyway, so he decided to come here to the outer district.
According to fake identification papers he got from his marionette's cabin, he was currently a traveler who researched different cultures and recorded the state of different countries and empires, and right now he was recording St. Millon in Feysac.
And what a city it was! Jace was taken.
Every structure here was built differently from how it was in the Loen Kingdom; the buildings were large, primarily made out of stone as they would be in a castle, the roads were very wide, and everything was big.
The doorway to any establishment here was over 8 feet tall, reaching 9 to 10 feet. That was likely because the people here were descendants of giants, so they were taller than the average Loenese person as well.
The average height of men here stood over 6 foot 3, and that was average—Jace had seen people over 6'6" walking down the street. The women were tall as well, slightly less than the men, but that was all the same to Jace as he was not a tall guy!
'Damn! Everything here makes me feel smaller! I swear I just saw a couple guys about 2 fuckin' meters tall walking down the street!' Jace complained inwardly while still sitting in a reflection, feeling a little self-conscious about his height.
'Haa... how am I supposed to get chicks here... I did hear the women here are simple and straight-minded, so it should be fine, right?...'
Jace comforted himself as he made his marionette walk through a huge doorway into a tavern-like establishment.
The ceiling was high, and there was the smell of smoke. In the middle, there was a huge fireplace around which people sat warming themselves, as it really was cold outside.
It gave Jace the feeling that made him feel as though he was living in the Middle Ages, but that was of course not true, as Feysac was quite advanced with its technology, just as much as the Loen Kingdom, if not more.
Jace made his marionette take off his heavy wool coat, hung it beside a wall, and found himself a seat nearby in the warm light of the fire.
The people there noticed a small man sitting among them and looked curiously at him.
"Hello, friends."
Christoph (marionette) smiled and said in his deep voice in the Feysac language.
The people here were very straightforward and extroverted; seeing the small man greet them, they greeted him as well and enveloped him in their conversation asking who and where he was from.
Jace talked with the men through his marionette to see what was up in St. Millon; everything seemed to be fine and usual according to the men, which was good for Jace and his business here.
Right now, he was at one of the locations that he had seen in the divinations he had performed to pinpoint the location of the 'Marionettist' he was here for.
Of course, the 'Marionettist' was not here; this was just one of many locations that he may have visited or even passed by.
But how does one find a Seer of Sequence 5 level?...
Well, he doesn't!
As far as Jace was concerned, the 'Marionettist' was in St. Millon, and now so was Jace; now he was going to leave it all to fate—or rather, 'the law of Beyonder characteristics convergence'.
As long as the 'Marionettist' was in St. Millon along with Jace, they were bound to run into each other, especially since they were both Sequence 5 Beyonders of the same pathway.
It was only a matter of time.
From Jace's estimate, it should take about a week or two for them to meet; until then, he could only prepare himself and be ready for what may come.

A/N:- During last 3 months I filled the form for B.Tech engineering, got alloted to a Institute far away, traveled over 500 km to the institute, got used to the new environment, place, hostel, then came the exams...., well it was a whole lot of stuff.
Hope you understand the reason for me going off for couple months...
