Chapter 115 - Clash of the Titans

After Aryus arrived, he immediately flew toward Karma's palace, looked around, and found a number of army commanders standing to intercept him. Everyone started firing at him as soon as he arrived, so he raised his fingers and fired a small beam that began burning the planet. Many of them fled and some died. Aryus entered in front of the palace and saw a woman running with her child. He flew toward them and asked for Baryon with absolute fury. The woman was terrified and said, "We don't know." The child screamed, "My dad will kill you, you evil monster!" Aryus was shocked and realized that these were Baryon's wife and son, and he smiled with wild, intense madness. Suddenly, he pounced on the little boy and stabbed him in front of his mother, causing him to fall into his own blood on the ground. Then, he grabbed Baryon's wife by the neck and flew away with her. The winds were howling, the sky was pitch red, darkness was everywhere, and rain began to pour heavily.

Aryus sensed a massive power approaching the planet. Baryon landed, saw his planet being destroyed, looked around, and headed toward his palace. Suddenly, he saw someone floating in the sky holding someone. He got closer and saw his wife right in front of him, in the hands of that figure whose face showed pure evil and darkness. Baryon said, "You there, let her go right now, or I'll kill you! You won't get out of here alive!"

Aryus said in a terrifying voice, "Do you remember this scene, you rat?"

Baryon was puzzled and then asked, "Who are you, you wretch?"

Aryus screamed in a terrifying voice that shook the place, "Do you remember this moment, you bastard?"

Baryon began to say, "No, let go of my wife right now before I lose my patience and bury you at the bottom of this volcano."

Aryus said, "Fine, as you wish. I'll make you remember more."

In the background, Clarissa and the other Aryus were standing watching from afar. Clarissa began to say, "The Black Eye is there, but I can't see his face; he's surrounded by pitch darkness." Aryus watched the scene and clenched his teeth slightly. As for the Aryus holding Baryon's wife, he stood there saying, "I'll show you now, because what I'm about to do will refresh your memory."

Then Baryon said, "What are you going to do?" Aryus stabbed Baryon's wife in the chest and cut off her head right in front of him. This made Baryon remember the scene where he had cut off the head of that Celestine and stabbed her in the chest with his tail. Aryus threw her body in front of him, picked up his son's body by his fingers, and threw it in front of him as well, shocking Baryon even more.

Aryus descended slightly in front of him and Baryon said in a cold and scary voice, "Who are you, you?"

Aryus replied, "What a ridiculous question! Am I not the same child whose parents you ruthlessly murdered in front of him when he was little, just to pretend we don't remember, right?"

Baryon said, "I remember you now. You're that insect I almost ran over, if it weren't for that bitch and that scum."

Aryus's anger intensified at what he heard, and at the same time, blood froze in Baryon's veins as he looked at the bodies of his wife and son, which were beginning to grow cold in front of him.

Baryon said, "You know, I need something."

Aryus said, "I know what you need. You want me to kill you and bury you on top of them."

Baryon said, "No, what I desire is to repeat that scene—between your killing of my mother and father, and my killing of your wife and child—just to see which two moments were the most enjoyable and terrifying."

Baryon suddenly flew in front of Aryus and tried to crush his head with his tail and punch him with his other hand, but Aryus coldly blocked both while standing still. Baryon was amazed by that, then stepped back.

Baryon said, "You there, are you really that crying child? Because all I see is a monster in the form of a young man seeking a useless revenge."

Aryus said, "And why useless? Has your heart grown kind or something?"

Baryon said, "No, but because revenge is useless since you'll die before you even try to do it."

The two clashed with their fists, wiping out the entire planet and the whole zone as a result. Following that, a terrifying clash began between the two across universes. Every universe they passed through began to disintegrate from the sheer speed of their strikes against each other, nearly triggering an explosion that would vaporize the universe. Huge numbers of corrupted creatures died as a result.

Clarissa said, "What is this power? Both of them are truly terrifying monsters. This is fun!"

Aryus said, "Damn them both! They're killing countless innocent creatures just to satisfy their urges to fight. Truly, they are cursed monsters."

Clarissa said, "Ooh, my dear Aryus, what a kind person you are, caring so much about others! But your attention should be on me and no one else."

Aryus told her, "Shut up and focus on where they went. They blew up the planet on us and disappeared."

Clarissa said, "I don't know. Can't you sense them?"

Aryus said, "Right." He tried to sense them and found that they had entered an incomplete reality.

Clarissa said, "What is this incomplete reality, my dear?"

He said, "This is just a background for remnants that were supposed to exist for this world, but they never reached the final plan."

Clarissa didn't understand what he meant, but she went along with his words.

In that place, Aryus and Baryon landed. Baryon said, "What is this place? Where are we?" But Aryus told him he would die in this place.

Baryon said, "What's the story of this boy? When I saw him as an insect, his power was around 3 or so, as I recall. Now his power is roughly... let me try to sense it." Baryon closed his eyes, opened them, and was shocked by Aryus's punch right in front of him. He tried to block it, but was hurled away. Baryon clutched his hand, from which smoke was beginning to rise, and said, "I can't believe this! This person is strong, so strong that he will make me forget my grief over my family. I can't believe it. It seems my dream in the past was right; this person would face me as a Celestine, but he won't leave here alive."

Baryon charged at Aryus. Aryus dodged all the attacks while standing completely still, and landed a punch on Baryon's abdomen. Baryon screamed in intense pain, fell to his knees, and said, "Damn it, he surprised me!"

Baryon got up and said, "Good, boy, you really impressed me. But so far, I haven't even used 1% of my full power, and you seem to be using a lot. Let me tell you: 10%."

Aryus smiled and said, "Hit by 10%, right in front of you. But your calculations might fail you sometimes. My power right now is 300 septillion, and your current power is 280 septillion. That means before my men, you were just playing around as I used to do with your men. Why don't you show me your true level now?"

Baryon said, "300 septillion is impossible for a Celestine! You are truly strange, boy. In my entire life, I have never witnessed a single Celestine whose power exceeded 20,000 units, yet you stand before me with this power as if it were something ordinary and easy to possess. You must have done something to reach this power."

Aryus said, "In fact, Celestines are truly ignorant. If not for their ignorance of their own abilities, they wouldn't have suffered all those losses. If each of them trained and evolved, what happened to them wouldn't have happened. But that's not our topic. What is the reason you killed my people?"

Baryon said, "Boy, your people didn't matter to me at all. Basically, your people were just an obstacle and were gotten rid of. The problem was right in front of me all along: you."

Aryus was surprised by what he said and asked, "What do you mean?"

Baryon said, "13 years ago, I had a dream. That dream was about a Celestine facing me. He was a Celestine, but he was also a ruler. But as soon as I heard the interpretation of it, I knew my end would be at the hands of a ruling Celestine. But now, I am truly at ease. Do you know why? Not just because of the death of the Celestines, but also because the one standing before me is just an ordinary Celestine, with no royal origins attached to him."

Aryus said, "You might be right here; I am not a ruler or a lord. But I came here today for a single goal: to avenge my mother and father, whom you ruthlessly murdered. When I do, I will be satisfied. I have waited for this moment for 13 years. My blood boiled every day with every training session and every battle I fought, thinking of this day when I would see you to eliminate you, and I don't care what happens after this."

Baryon said, "Let's see the results of these trainings of yours then." Baryon raised his power, and the ground began to shake around them. He said, "Listen to me, boy, today you will join your parents and tell them that I am very happy to have sent them to hell, and to send you after them!"

A blackish-crimson aura began to appear on Baryon's body, and his energy began to increase. The system window appeared before Aryus, showing high power levels: 400 septillion, 600 septillion, 800 septillion. After that, Aryus was hit by a powerful punch that threw him far away. Baryon grabbed Aryus's face, began to press on it and crush it, until Aryus kicked Baryon's stomach to make him let go. The two clashed with their elbows, and that blow caused a wave that slightly tore reality.

Aryus flew up and began hurling energy at Baryon, who dodged the strikes with imaginary speed. In a flash, Aryus appeared in front of Baryon—Baryon thought to himself, He's fast!—and Aryus punched him in the face, causing him to crash into a wall and shatter it.

Baryon got up, rushed forward, grabbed Aryus, flew far away with him, and hurled him toward a distant sun. Then he threw an energy sphere at him, causing an explosion that changed the color of space, severely hitting Aryus on the other side of world zero.

A full day passes. Dazai thinks to himself, Damn it, what am I going to do?

Arlene says, "Calm down, we'll find a solution."

He says, "What? How am I supposed to find a solution when we are surrounded right now?"

Celis says, "Don't worry, we'll handle it. All we have to do is forge an agreement. If he rejects the agreement, we will face him with force. Why? Are we any less than him?"

Dazai says, "Our goal is to rescue my sister and ensure her safety above all else. Also, if only we knew how she was kidnapped."

A soldier knocks on the door and says, "Excuse me, sir, but we found this strange cube in the young lady's room a moment ago." He places it on the desk.

Dazai says, "What is this thing?"

Arlene says, "This thing... it's a cross-world teleportation cube, and this thing is only manufactured in the First World, as far as I know."

Celis says, "So someone from the First World was here, and they're the ones who used this thing?"

Dazai says in an angry voice, "Quickly, bring me the ones from the First World!"

The guards bring Acropolis and Zarda from the detention room. They see Dazai's terrifying face as he tells them, "Well, guests, is there something you want to tell me?"

Acropolis, who looks terrified of his gaze, says, "Excuse me, sir, did something happen?"

Dazai says, "Yes, things happened, not just one thing. Tell me, what is this?" Acropolis looks at the cube, is shocked, and says, "This is a cube..."

Dazai says, "We know it's a cube, but what does it do?"

Zarda says, "It transports people and objects over long distances."

Dazai says, "Well done, it seems you understand more than your brother. So answer me, where did this come from?"

Zarda says, "From our own world."

Dazai says, "And who brought it?"

Zarda says, "A colleague of ours was here yesterday; he told us he would use this to transport the young lady, your sister, from there so they could get answers from her and use her as a hostage."

Acropolis is surprised by what his sister says, as he didn't expect her to be this stupid.

Dazai says, "And what is the name of that partner of yours?"

Zarda says, "His name is Ramen, and he is Lady Nahira's assistant, for instance. And he told us that the lady will soon free us, sir."

There, Dazai understood everything and said, "So my sister is with that bitch Nahira? I'll make her pay the price!"

Acropolis grows angry, breaks his restraints, and tries to attack Dazai, but Dazai coldly grabs him by the face and throws him out the window. In a flash, Dazai appears above him and deals him a single blow that breaks his bones and leaves him unconscious on the ground outside, in full view of everyone.

Dazai says, "Take this dog to the cell! As for the army, be prepared for the worst; I am going to the First World today to rescue my sister."

Dazai tells Celis, "Lead the army in my place. I entrust my men to your care, and if you see Karma, tell him I'm coming to crush him."

Celis says, "Take a group of men with you."

Dazai says, "No, I don't want to put anyone in danger because of my own lack of responsibility. I will bear my mistakes myself. Also, watch your backs, because Baryon might show up against you, so be careful."

Arlene tells him, "Watch out for Nahira; don't ever interact with her. Just take your sister and run away from there—that cursed woman is very powerful."

Dazai says, "Don't worry, I'll be careful."

Dazai flies away from the place after preparing for it, heading toward the portal leading to the First World.

Meanwhile, in Karma's world, he was preparing for war, and the rulers around him were ready. Rymus had also brought Mythos along to fight by his side.

Rymus said with total coldness, "Are you ready for this?"

Mythos said, "Born ready, my friend. But tell me, are you worried about Lena?"

Rymus said, "Very much, I hope she's safe with Wang."

After that, Karka said, "Get ready, we'll be moving soon."

Suddenly, the Master rushes quickly toward Karma, saying, "Master, master!"

Karma is shocked and says, "What is it?"

The Master approaches, everyone turns to hear what he has to say, and then he says, "Sir, I received terrifying news that we didn't account for."

Karma says, "What is it?"

He says, "Sir, the Black Eye—it is said he has been facing the nightmare of the worlds, Baryon, face-to-face for over 24 continuous hours!"

Everyone is shocked: Karma is shocked, Rymus is shocked, everyone is shocked by what they heard.

Karma says, "Wh-wh-what? When did this happen?"

The Master says, "Over the past two days. Their battle is about to hit 48 hours now, and they are clashing together in World 0."

Karma says, "Impossible! How can a little scum like the Black Eye stand before Baryon? That's impossible!"

The Master says, "No, sir, he is sparring with him in combat as if he were his equal!"

All the rulers in the place panic, and everyone begins to tremble. Even Rymus trembled at what he heard. As for Mythos, he realized that the Black Eye was not an ordinary person, nor was what he did ordinary, otherwise why would all the rulers be this terrified by what happened?

Karma said, "And what is the outcome of the fight right now?"

The Master said, "They are fighting fiercely, destruction is everywhere, and the barrier separating the North from the South, West, and East is about to shatter from their immense power. I wouldn't have believed it until I saw it with my own eyes."

Then he opens a huge screen for them so everyone can see two crushing monsters with no mercy in their hearts, wrestling in the name of power and the survival of the fittest.

One of the rulers said, "Look, the Black Eye isn't wearing a mask! Let's see his face." But his face isn't visible because of the darkness covering everything, as the world had become completely pitch dark due to their clash. Millions of suns had vaporized, planets were torn apart, and universes evaporated as if it were the end of the world or an arena of cosmic chaos.

Karka stood stunned by what he saw and said, "I can't believe what's before my eyes! Baryon, the ferocious monster, is panting with fatigue in front of a mortal? Who would believe this in a fight?"

Aryus stands, and Baryon stands. The two begin to laugh hysterically, coldly, and very slowly while blood drips from them.

Baryon says, "How long has it passed?"

Aryus says, "I don't know, maybe a day or two, I'm not sure."

Baryon says, "No, I mean how much time has passed since I got a fight like this? I feel a mixture of happiness, sadness, anger, hatred, and malice burning inside me. You know, boy, I think it was really good that I didn't kill you on that day, otherwise I wouldn't have witnessed this enjoyment I've reached today. Yet, despite that, I know you've now reached your absolute limits, and I'm sorry to say this is your end."

Aryus laughs and says, "Calm down, you monster! You really don't know who I am or what I'm capable of. But to be honest, you are the first person in my life in front of whom I've had to exert this kind of effort. You should be proud of yourself for making me reach this limit."

The system appears to Aryus, showing that he is currently using 100% of his power in his normal state, which is estimated at around 3 octillion. As for Baryon, he is also using 100%, amounting to 1 octillion.

Aryus says, "Listen to me, monster, that's enough warming up. Why don't we get serious now?"

Baryon laughs and says, "So you figured me out. But don't you notice we're being watched, boy?"

Suddenly, Baryon looks at Karma's screen, points at it, destroys the screen, and cuts off the broadcast.

Everyone is shocked by that. Karma says, "Bring back the broadcast!"

The Master says, "Sir, I apologize, that is beyond my capabilities. They have moved very far beyond the limits of my ability, but I'll try my best."

On the other side, Baryon said, "I haven't used anything except a fraction of my full power, and your endurance against me like this for this period is proof of the extent of your strength. But I think our battle station will end here, Celestine."

Baryon began to raise his power more and more. The darkness cleared up a bit, and the red steam increased more and more.

Clarissa and the other Aryus stood in a distant place witnessing what was happening.

Clarissa said, "Look, I want to see his face at least! Or what do you think if I go and help that monster facing him?"

Aryus said, "No, don't do that. We have to wait; either he kills him, or we do—there is no other choice. Also, never focus on his face, and just think of plans to crush him, nothing else."

She said, "My dear, you really resent the Black Eye so much."

Aryus said, "Yes, very much, more than you can imagine. But now, just focus on what I'm saying and let's stay away from the place."

She said, "Understood, I'll wait for the right moment."

Baryon began to scream to the point that his scream shook the entirety of World 0, to the extent that Celis and the rest felt that terrifying energy.

Arlene said, "What is this energy? It's repulsive and disgusting!"

In the First World, Dazai also began to feel that energy and said, "What is this? What's happening over there?"

A red light covered the entire horizon, and Baryon emerged from the midst of the light looking completely different from before. Aryus looked at him in shock, only to take a blow to his stomach that made him spit blood. Baryon grabbed him by the hair and kicked his stomach with his knee. Aryus felt nauseous and was on the verge of losing consciousness, but he caught himself, managed to break free from his spot, appeared in a different location, and hid there to catch his breath.

He started spitting blood profusely, to the point where he began vomiting blood. Aryus's vision blurred and became more difficult, and a system window appeared showing him that his opponent's power level had increased 2,000 times compared to before, bringing his power to 20 octillion all at once. Compared to his own current power of 3 octillion, the gap was vast.

Aryus sensed the danger of the situation, but he had no chance to do anything, as his opponent created a huge energy sphere and hurled it quickly, causing total destruction that wiped out hundreds of universes in a literal instant.

The scene was literally universes turning into darkness and explosions like fireworks or popcorn popping in a pot over the sound of boiling oil. From the sheer hideousness of the sight, the waters of the seas in regions that barely survived turned into boiling thermal lava that peeled the faces of those who died in it and melted their bones—let alone those who took the brunt of the explosion directly.

The steam began to clear, and Baryon smiled, saying, "It's over, kid. It was a good amusement; I wished it could have lasted longer."

He was hit from behind by an energy strike that didn't do much damage, coming from Aryus, who was standing with difficulty in the void.

Baryon said, "I can't believe you survived my light blow."

Aryus said, "A light blow, you say? If you had hit me with your strongest attack, what would have happened?" Aryus breathed with difficulty; his clothes were torn and blood was streaming from him.

Baryon said, "Surrender, in this condition I can't spare you no matter how hard you try, boy. All that is left of you is mere scraps. Surrender, and let me bury you in a grave of your choice, and let's finish this matter."

Aryus said, "Strange, because I was thinking the exact same thing. I was thinking of burying you next to the corpse of your wife and child, who are now reduced to ashes."

Baryon grew furious, headbutted Aryus, made him bleed profusely, and struck him with an energy blast that dealt massive damage, triggering a fierce explosion that threw him far away.
