Chapter 33 - Chapter 33- Never Had I Ever

"Should we go naughty or basic level?" Maya asked.

"Let's do both," Elena replied.

"So if you've done it, you raise your hand… and yeah, let's get a bottle of shots—you drink one glass. Agreed?"

"Yeah, agreed," everyone answered.

"Never have I ever been rejected by someone I love," Jason said.

"I think everyone has," Janaya said immediately.

"I haven't," Damian replied, arms folded.

"Everyone drinks except Damian," Maya announced.

"Never have I ever had a threesome," Elena said.

"If we keep going like this, I might get drunk," Timothy muttered, already reaching for a glass.

"I haven't," Jason said.

"Same here," Elena added.

"Your reward is in heaven," Damian said, grabbing a glass and drinking.

He paused, then turned to Janaya.

"Babe… you have?"

"It's all in the past now," Janaya replied, drinking.

"Please tell me it was two girls, not two guys," Damian said, eyes wide.

"…Two guys."

"Jesus Christ," Damian muttered.

The whole table burst into laughter—including Daniel.

"Never have I ever dated someone five years younger than me," Janaya said.

"I have," Daniel said, raising his hand and taking a drink.

"No one else?" she asked.

"Does kissing count?" Tan asked.

"Wait—what?" Maya turned sharply.

"It doesn't," Janaya said quickly.

"Never have I ever had sex with a close friend," Damian said.

"I mean… I have—with Jason," Timothy said.

"In your wildest dreams," Jason shot back.

Laughter exploded around the table.

"Even if no one else drinks, Daniel and Timothy must," Jason added.

"Pour me one too," Damian said.

Janaya turned sharply.

"Wait—who?"

"Jane," Damian replied casually.

"Holy shit!" Janaya and Jason said at the same time.

"How??" Janaya asked.

"How did you both act normal after that?"

"The same way Timothy and Daniel are acting," Damian replied, setting his glass down.

"Never have I ever had a crush on my cousin," Timothy said.

"God forbid! Who does that—" Maya started.

"I have," Tan said calmly, reaching for a drink.

"Okay! I've heard enough for today. My ears are bleeding," Maya said.

Everyone burst out laughing—especially at the way Tan was staring at her.

"Babe, I think you should drink too," Tan said.

"No, I've never—"

"You told me when you were drunk," Tan cut in.

"Oh—that? That was before I knew she was my cousin!"

"She?" Jason repeated.

"Like it's a woman?" Janaya asked

"…Okay, I'll drink. Everyone shut up," Maya said quickly.

"Never have I ever gone to bed naked," Daniel said.

"Allow me to pour five glasses for my babe," Damian said, laughing freely now.

"What do you mean?" Janaya muttered, face down in embarrassment.

"Janaya sleeps naked, right?" Maya teased.

"I think that's a general girl thing," Elena added.

"You do that too? Please move in with me," Jason said, dropping to his knees dramatically.

The table dissolved into laughter.

What started as a calm date had turned into complete chaos.

Even Daniel—

was starting to forget why he came.

"So am I the only one drinking?" Janaya asked, lifting another glass.

"I'm with you, baby," Elena said, joining her.

"You must be really lucky," Tan said, glancing at Damian.

"Seeing your girl like that."

"You like that?" Maya teased.

"Who in this world doesn't?" Jason replied with a ridiculous laugh.

"Okay… never have I ever cheated on my partner," Tan said.

Silence.

The entire table froze.

Then—

"Pass me a glass," Janaya said quietly.

"…Me too," Daniel added.

"I'll take one," Maya said.

"Same here," Jason followed.

"…Pour one for me," Damian said.

Elena and Tan hesitated—but eventually drank too.

"Just to be clear, we all drank not because we've cheated right?" Elena asked confused

"No baby it's a friend thing" Jason replied immediately

That was it, no one questioned.

"Never have I ever had a crush on my lecturer," Maya said.

"I think this game is designed to get me drunk," Janaya muttered, reaching for another glass.

Damian laughed loudly.

A memory flashed—

that night Janaya told him about secretly dating her lecturer.

And just like that—

they were all tipsy.

Laughing.

Talking.

Letting their guards down.

Like nothing was wrong.

Like danger wasn't waiting outside.

Cut to: Victor Kane

Victor paced his study, anger building with every second.

No updates.

No calls.

Nothing.

He tried reaching Daniel but he wasn't picking.

Then he dialed the assistant number-

"What is the update? I thought you confirmed the plan was successful!" he snapped.

"Sir… Daniel seems distracted," his assistant replied nervously.

"He's not giving any orders."

Victor's jaw tightened.

"Then proceed without him. I don't have time to waste. Kill anyone—just get me Damian."

"Sir… we sent signals. He's not responding. He might have—changed his mind."

Silence.

Then—

"That bastard!" Victor roared.

"What about the complimentary drinks? Didn't they take them?" he demanded.

"One bottle has been opened, sir… but none of them are affected."

Victor exhaled sharply.

"Move forward with the attack. And bring me Daniel's head."

"Sir… he's your son."

"Anyone who betrays me is no son of mine."

The line went dead.

At the Restaurant

Daniel's phone buzzed quietly.

A message.

From Vivian.

Daniel, what's wrong? Father is furious.

He ordered your men to kill you with others.
