That morning, as Erin and Layla were preparing to go out to the student market again, Erin noticed a vase of roses, daisies, and other assortments of flowers sitting next to the window sill.
"Has that always been there?" Erin said, pointing at it.
Layla turned to see what she was gesturing to, and shrugged, "I took it in the other day. I'm surprised that you just realized it."
They left their dorm room, and were on their way to the student market. It was open yet again as today and tomorrow were free days. It was intended by the teachers for students to get to know their team better before the big event.
Erin and Layla did plan on meeting up with the others in their team later that day, but before they did, they were going to need a few purchases. Layla was already out of specialized arrows, and her current bow was only intermediate tier. Their current gear would be good for a green portal expedition, but not an orange on.
