"You think whoever did it is still connected to what's happening now."
"I think the Collective found this territory specifically," Mira said. "I think they had a map of it. I think they came for Karvesh with forty warriors and a polite offer because they've done this before and they know how this territory works." She paused. "Someone taught them that. And whoever taught them has been interested in this land for a very long time."
