Chapter 24 - An Unparalleled Genius Above All Others!

I had to create a power structure for the story that is flexible enough to adapt to the various Disney movies, since Disney doesn't have a proper one, as you are all aware. I hope you guys enjoy it. Also, the 'Royal' title will be changed to 'Imperial' from now on. Although it could be used interchangeably, 'Imperial' seems to make more sense for an empire.

They found his statement unconvincing and would've rebuked him and given him a lecture if he weren't the Prince. However, upon hearing him ask for their names, they instantly straightened up, their emotions settling, as they responded,

"I'm Zayel, an apprentice disciple of the Imperial Magic Court."

"I'm Arif, an apprentice disciple of the Imperial Magic Court."

With that, they introduced themselves.

Aladdin nodded and said, "Follow me. I need a training partner." He gestured for them to follow him.

He needed a training partner to gauge and hone his abilities, as he couldn't take on Genie. It was also a good way for him to test the abilities of the average Imperial Court disciples.

Since they were guarding the Imperial Magic Court Library, their strength was acceptable.

As they nodded in response, the Imperial Magic Court disciples exchanged confused glances, uncertain what kind of training Aladdin sought. They remained unconvinced that Aladdin was interested in magical skills and instead suspected he wished to test his sword skills or physical abilities.

That was the conclusion they could come up with in a fraction of a second. They nodded at each other before turning and walking toward the training ground.

Once they arrived, Aladdin took a proper look at the training ground.

It was a wide, circular, layered stone platform with white markings stretching across it from the centre.

"Wait here. I want to try out my skills personally first," Aladdin turned to the Royal Magic Court disciples and said. He located the staircase and climbed up.

Zayel and Arif glanced at each other once more before shifting their focus to the blue being following behind Aladdin, who had stayed behind.

Just like the other nations in the Seven Deserts, they were aware of the existence of magical beings, but they didn't know what race or species he was; they were certain that he was a special magical being, since he was following the Prince.

At this moment, a popcorn had appeared in Genie's hand, and he ate it as though he were in a theatre.

Aladdin climbed onto the stage and took his position on the right side of the platform. He channelled his magical energy from his core through his body using the first unique pattern of the 'Exotic Five Elemental Control'.

He stretched his hand forward and chanted the first incantation.

"From the breath of the desert sun, and the wrath of the burning skies,

Embodiment of destruction and rebirth,

Answer my will and consume all before me—

Flame… Ignite!"

Boom!!

A burst of flame shot forward from his outstretched hand like an ignition lit by a matchstick and burst outward. The flames shot to the other side of the stage and struck the ground with a 'BANG!' scorching it with burn marks.

Aladdin cast the spell again, but this time shortened the chant.

"Flames, ignite."

A burst of fire shot out from Aladdin's hand and exploded on the other side of the stage once more.

He did it again. This time, he felt that he had completely mastered the spell, just as he had mastered the Dune Valley Teleportation.

So, Aladdin didn't chant.

BOOMM!!

Crimson flames ignited and launched from both his hands. They were much fiercer and hotter than the previous flames he had conjured. They crossed the distance within moments, striking the other side of the stage with a resounding 'BANGG!!' at the exact position of the two previous attacks.

Aladdin noticed that the scorch marks on the stage were slowly disappearing. He realised that the stage was self-repairing. He was impressed by the versatility of the Imperial Magic Court's skills.

Aladdin raised his hand once more and chanted the second incantation following the second connected unique pattern.

"From the endless rivers and depths of the abyss,

Flow through form and shatter restraint,

Bend to my will and drown all resistance—

Tide… Flow!"

A surge of water emerged from his hand and shot to the other side of the stage with a loud, 'BANGG!!' striking the scorched area with perfect precision.

Unlike the flames, which set ablaze everything they touched, the surge of water was like a high-pressure blast, drenching and penetrating through the stone slab, scattering small rock fragments into the air.

"Tide… Flow."

Without hesitation, he cast the spell once more with a shorter chant.

Below the training platform, Zayel and Arif watched the scene with shock in their eyes.

They knew this spell.

It was the 'Exotic Five Elemental Control', one of the most difficult spells to master in the Imperial Magic Court Library. Because in order to learn the spell, one had to grasp the five connected unique patterns and incantations, which was nearly impossible for the average magician who only knew two or three spells.

As such, only masters who had decades of training in mastering various unique patterns could even think about grasping such a difficult technique. And among the entire Imperial Magic Court, only the previous Imperial Grand Magician had learned it and completely mastered it.

No one in their generation could boast of achieving such a feat.

And yet, right before their eyes, their Prince had cast the spell effortlessly.

They were even more astounded, seeing as he shortened the chant and even cast it silently.

First, it was fire, then water…

"Earth… Rise!"

What came next was a large boulder that emerged from the ground before Aladdin and shot out like a cannonball.

"BOOMM!! BANGG!!"

The stage trembled as the boulder struck the other side, gouging out a hole and scattering fragments of rock around it.

The next attack came fast.

This time, the boulder shot from behind him and struck the same position.

"BOOMM!! BANNG!!"

Then, wind…

With a wave of his hand, a sharp gust sliced through the air.

Then lightning gathered around his palm and shot toward that exact position.

What made Zayel and Arif fall into disbelief wasn't only the fact that Aladdin was performing the spell without chanting, but that he was doing it effortlessly, striking the same spot he had previously attacked, like a marksman refusing to let go of his target.

This made them feel uncertain about whether this was Aladdin's first time learning the 'Exotic Five Elemental Control'. However, he didn't strike them as a magician, or they would've immediately sensed a magical signature from the moment they met him.

Various thoughts rushed through their minds, but they were unable to reach a conclusion without asking him directly.

BOOMM!!

BANNGG!!

But it didn't stop there. Aladdin continued switching between the elements with ease, casting them with both hands, with his feet, even with his eyes closed. The elements came to life around him and burst forward at their target with incredible lethality.

"UUUUHOOOO!! P..R..I..N…C…E.. A..L..A..D..D..I…N!! What does it stand for? PRINCE ALADDIN!!" Genie transformed into a cheerleader with pom-poms, cheering Aladdin from outside the stage.

The two Imperial Magic Court disciples' eyes widened in astonishment at what they saw. They looked at each other and gulped, realising that they had sensed when he manifested those strange costumes.

Others might not be able to tell, but they could clearly sense that the blue magical being wasn't something they could trifle with. Unless they knew what kind of being it was and prepared countermeasures ahead of time, their victory would be uncertain.

Realising that this being was accompanying their Prince, they sighed in relief. They finally understood how he had managed to survive this long and make it back to the Empire safely.

On stage, Aladdin felt a considerable amount of his magical reserve was drained. A certain feeling of weakness flowed from his core to every part of his being, causing even his muscles to ache. Still, Aladdin felt like he could continue.

In fact, he didn't want to stop.

He wanted to try something else.

With a thought, Aladdin cast the 'Exotic Five Elemental Control' spell once more.

The wind around him stirred, slowly lifting his body into the sky. The higher he rose above the ground, the faster his magical energy depleted. The moment Aladdin was one and a half meters (5ft) above the ground, crimson flames erupted beneath his feet, pushing him another one and a half meters into the air.

Aladdin utilised two elements at the same time, further draining his magical energy. Although the main purpose of the 'Exotic Five Elemental Control' was to enable a magician to control the elements with ease, at its core, it could only aid a magician in switching between the elements, thereby giving the illusion of freely casting the five elements at the flick of one's wrist.

It took a master who had not only fully mastered the spell but could also control the flow of magical energy through the layered, unique patterns simultaneously within their body to cast at this level.

In simpler terms, it was like pushing two rivers, one on top and one beneath, using one's body as a bridge, then forcing both streams to flow through each other in opposite directions to reach their destination.

Only a genius could pull off such a technique. But for someone as young as Prince Aladdin…

There was no title for such a person yet, except… Unparalleled. A genius above all others.
