Chapter 67: The Bloodline's Echo — The Storm Before the War
The screen flickered with a soft, golden static, but the world beneath it was anything but calm. In the wake of Prime Whitebeard's roar and Shanks regrowing his arm, the "Zero-Gravity" curse was playing out in the most ridiculous—and terrifying—ways possible.
In Sabaody, Sanji was sweating, his legs vibrating as he held a floating, pouting Luffy by the ankle.
"I want to go to the ship! Sanji, let go! I'll just fly to Marineford!" Luffy shouted, drifting like a parade balloon.
"You'll fly into the stratosphere, you rubber-brained idiot!" Sanji barked. "Stay down until the 12 hours are up!"
In Impel Down, the prisoners of Level 3 watched in stunned silence as a bright yellow Duck (Buggy) bounced off the ceiling like a pinball, squeaking in high-pitched fury while Magellan tried to swat him down with a Hydra made of poison.
[The Global Chat: The Monkey D. Family Crisis]
As the world watched, the System's chat window expanded, glowing with a deep red hue that signaled the arrival of the world's most chaotic bloodline.
> [Monkey D. Garp]: "BWAHAHA! Look at my grandson! A floating balloon! Luffy, you're a disgrace to the Marine training I gave you! And Dragon... you moody brat, stop hiding in the wind and say something to your son!"
> [Monkey D. Dragon]: "Father... you haven't changed. Luffy... the path you've chosen is a difficult one. But seeing you on that screen, standing against the Gods... perhaps the 'Will of D' is safer in your hands than mine."
> [Curly Dadan]: "DRAGON?! GARP?! YOU NO-GOOD DEADBEATS! I'M THE ONE WHO RAISED THIS RUBBER BRAT AND THE FIRE-BOY! If any of you let Ace die at that execution, I'll hunt you all down myself! Do you hear me?!"
> [Makino]: "Dadan-san, please calm down... but she's right. Luffy, Ace... please be safe. The whole village is watching. Mayor Woodslap is currently trying to hit the screen with his cane."
> [Portgas D. Ace]: (From the battleship) "Sabo...? You're alive? And Luffy... Dadan... Makino... stop it. Don't come for me. The Navy is too strong. Sengoku is young again! Whitebeard is... I don't even recognize my Pops anymore!"
> [Sabo]: "Ace, don't you dare give up. The Revolutionary Army is moving. We won't let the 'Thorns' or the 'Admirals' take what's ours. Dragon-san... the ships are ready."
>
>[Monkey D. Luffy]: Sabo!!! You are alive? That's cool, Ace wait for us. We will save you don't give up.
>
The world stood in absolute shock. In every bar from the West Blue to the North Blue, people dropped their drinks. The "Hero of the Marines," the "World's Worst Criminal," and the "Super Rookie" were all one family.
In Foosha Village, the citizens gathered around the small screen at Partys Bar.
"Our little Luffy... his dad is the leader of the Revolution?!" one villager gasped.
"And Garp-san is his grandfather?!" another yelled.
The village elder was fuming, but Makino stood by the window, looking out at the sea, her heart heavy. She observe system screen carefully and she understand from now on the eyes of the Five Elders were focused on their tiny island.
In Marineford, the younger, black-haired Sengoku put his head in his hands. The Marines around him were whispering in terror.
"Garp-san's grandson is the one who burned the flag at Enies Lobby?! And his son is world worst criminal?!"
"The faith in the 'Hero' is wobbling, but Garp just stood there, arms crossed, looking at the screen with a grin that said he didn't give a damn about the World Government's opinion.
[Yamato]: "Ace... your father's Haki is as terrifying as my father's. I'm coming! I'll break these chains if I have to rip my arms off!"
[Ace]: "He is Luffy's father not mine. Actually me Luffy and Sabe are sworn brothers. And main no need to come here. Take care of yourself Yamato."
Elbaf: Scopper Gaban, sitting with the giants, sharpened his axes. "Ace is Roger son so I need to get to the boy."
The Sea: Shanks looked at his newly regrown hand, flexing the fingers. He turned to Beckman. "Captain Roger said we didn't need 10 coins to bring him back. The System has another way. But for now... let's head to Marineford. The balance needs a heavy hand."
The screen suddenly muted the family chaos. The red hue of the Monkey family vanished, replaced by a cold, clinical blue light that smelled of ozone and sterilized steel.
[RANK 43: THE SOUL THAT CHOSE THE WRONG PATH.]
A glimpse appeared: A man in a spotted hat, his hands covered in blood, standing over a dying child in a city of white lead. Behind him, a young boy with a scarred face training under the "Hero" Garp, vowing to change the Marines from within.
"I don't care about the 'Will of D'," a voice whispered. "I just want to find the truth behind the 'Operation'."
[NOW LOADING: TRAFALGAR D. WATER LAW & KOBY]
📝 Author's Note:
The world finally knows the truth. The 'Monkey' family isn't just a group of people; they are a geopolitical disaster. Seeing Dadan threaten the 'Hero of the Marines' while Dragon acknowledges his failures gives the story the emotional weight it needs before the carnage starts. Whitebeard at 36 is a nightmare for the Navy—that's the version of Newgate that was equal to Roger in his absolute prime. Opposite him Sengoku and Garp in their prime and also I know who🤣. Btw Sengoku and Garp both individually are equal to Roger Newgate.
And Rank 43? Combining Law and Koby is going to show two different ways to climb the ranks: one through survival and the "Ope Ope no Mi," and the other through sheer, agonizing growth. Get ready
