Chapter 11: THE BATTLE OF TWO BROTHERS
Ralcin stood on the terrace of his headquarters, looking down at Malik who stood below.
Ralcin: "Why are you here? I already let you walk away."
Malik: "Ralcin, come on. This isn't the person you used to be."
Ralcin: "What do you mean?"
Malik: "Enough. We can stop this. Are you doing all of this just for that woman? You have to know, she definitely wouldn't like what you're doing."
Ralcin: "Huh? What do you mean? She would certainly be happy because I am doing this for her."
Malik: "Besides that, you must realize—rage will only kill you."
Ralcin: "Hahahaha! How funny. Because of you, I'm reminded of how naive I used to be. Let me tell you something: back then, they told me that anger would kill me and that I should try to stay calm. But what did I get? Betrayal, recklessness, and exile. They did all of that to me, and now you're telling me to forget it all? The only place I have left to take shelter and find cover is within my rage and revenge. If I throw that away, where am I supposed to go?"
Malik remained silent.
Ralcin: "What? Can't answer? Hmph, it seems you're still intent on fighting me."
Ralcin suddenly appeared in front of Malik and sent him flying. Malik tried to fight back, but Ralcin easily backed him into a corner. Malik's efforts were in vain; he fell to the ground. As Ralcin stood over him, Malik remembered the beautiful memories they once shared and accepted his fate. However, just as Ralcin moved closer, Steve suddenly appeared and tried to fight him, but Steve was also quickly overpowered.
Suddenly, a blue dagger shot through the air. Ralcin dodged, but it still grazed his cheek—leaving a wound even though Ralcin was wearing his Rahsk. Thomas and the others appeared. A spear was handed to Steve, and the weapon seemed to accept him as its master. Seeing the commotion from a distance, Vina was suddenly attacked by Kael and Lastra.
Ralcin: "More insects appearing."
Malik: "Wha—what are you guys doing? This wasn't the plan."
Rioka: "And did you really think we would just let you die?"
They helped Malik to his feet. Rioka quickly attacked Ralcin, who remained on the defensive. As Ralcin prepared to counterattack, Thomas and Rion joined the assault, cornering him. Meanwhile, Steve went to help Kael and Lastra fight Vina. Just as Vina was being pressured, Liza arrived to assist her, allowing Vina to retreat.
Back at the main fight, Ralcin was exhausted, trapped by the combined efforts of Thomas, Rion, Rioka, and Malik. Suddenly, from behind, a blade made of Rasqe stone pierced through Ralcin. The one holding the knife was Vina.
Ralcin: "Wh—what are you doing?"
Vina: "Ah, Ralcin, Ralcin... you are still far too innocent."
Before Ralcin could say another word, Vina used the Rasqe stone to absorb all of his Tara and Rahsk. Ralcin fell dead as Vina's power evolved rapidly, and her mana transformed into—
Chapter 12: The Final Battle of the Human World
Vina was born into a noble family, but she possessed an insatiable thirst for experimentation. When her country betrayed her unit, her obsession grew into madness. she experimented relentlessly to create the perfect human, and now, that perfection was realized. Vina hovered in the air, gazing at herself as the ultimate masterpiece. She suddenly dashed toward Liza and absorbed her Tara as well. Now viewing herself as a god, a fierce battle broke out. The fighting was incredibly intense; in the midst of the chaos, Thomas, Rion, and Rioka fell unconscious.
In his subconscious, Thomas saw a woman playing in the middle of the ice. She looked at him and said, "Perhaps it is time."
Meanwhile, in Rion's subconscious, he saw a figure with six wings. The figure stared at him, and Rion suddenly jolted awake.
In her own subconscious, Rioka was speaking with an entity.
Rioka: "Hey, give me your power."
The Entity: "Hahaha! You are quite rude, but very interesting. Fine then, I shall grant you a fraction of my strength."
The three of them woke up with a drastic increase in power. Initially, they managed to corner Vina, but eventually, they were defeated. Vina walked calmly toward Kael, intending to kill him.
Meanwhile, at Poseidon's location, the members of the Tarot had all gathered.
Raqel: "Why am I so worried about the human world?"
Astra: "Why worry? Besides, if there's a problem, I'm sure my friends can handle it. They did fight a Tier 1 threat on the Mysterious Continent, after all."
Clover: "What if someone even stronger attacks them?"
Tirta: "Relax, they have him."
Raqel: "Him? Who?"
Astra: "He is the very first and most secret member of the Tarot. He is The High Priestess."
Suddenly, a blue dagger pierced Vina from behind. It was Vozz.
Vina: "What are you doing, Vozz?"
Vozz: "Vozz? Sorry, that isn't my name."
Vina: "What do you mean?"
Vozz: "I am Foez. I am the son of Vozz. When Vozz became young again in 2008, he had a child—me. Then in 2015, I killed him because of his evil intentions, and I took over his identity as Vozz because I look exactly like him."
Vina: "What? How? How did you know about my foul intentions and Vozz's?"
Foez removed his blindfold, revealing eyes like those of a cat.
Foez: "Because of these eyes. These eyes can see a person's malicious intent, observe their patterns, and predict the enemy's next move."
Vina: "So... that's how it is..."
Finally, Vina died, and Foez crushed the remaining Rasqe stones.
Foez: "Finally, my revenge is complete. Sigh... forgive me, Master, for not listening to your words."
