Chapter 92 - Chapter 92: Rank One

Night fell fast.

The Dragon facility stood silent in the distance—dark walls, sharp lights, and guards moving like shadows.

Kai and Axel crouched on a rooftop nearby, watching.

Leo stayed behind, tracking signals and cameras.

Axel whispered, "Place looks worse up close."

Kai didn't respond.

His eyes scanned everything. Entrances. Guards. Patterns.

Then—

He froze.

"…Axel," Kai said quietly.

"Look."

A figure stepped into the light near the main gate.

Calm.

Confident.

Familiar.

Axel squinted. "…Wait… no way."

Kai's expression hardened.

"Madam Silver."

Their old teacher.

The one who used to guide them. Teach them.

Now—

Standing in front of the Dragon facility.

Axel shook his head. "That's not possible… she taught us…"

Kai didn't blink.

"She's Dragon."

Madam Silver stood with her hands behind her back, speaking to a group of guards.

Her presence alone made them stand straighter.

Stronger.

Like she was above them.

Leo's voice came through the comms.

"…Guys, I just pulled some data."

Kai pressed the earpiece. "Say it."

Leo hesitated.

"…Madam Silver. Dragon organization."

A pause.

"…Ranked number 1."

Silence.

Axel let out a slow breath. "Number 1…? You're telling me she's the strongest?"

Kai's eyes narrowed slightly.

"That explains a lot."

Below—

Madam Silver suddenly stopped talking.

She turned her head slightly.

Toward them.

Axel stiffened. "No way… she can't see us from here…"

Kai didn't move.

Didn't speak.

Madam Silver's eyes locked onto their position.

Even from that distance—

It felt direct.

Intentional.

Then—

She smiled.

A calm… knowing smile.

"…She knows," Kai said quietly.

Axel swallowed. "What do we do?"

Kai stood up slowly.

Eyes steady.

Focused.

"We leave."

No hesitation.

They moved back into the shadows, disappearing before anything could happen.

But below—

Madam Silver didn't move.

She simply watched the empty rooftop.

Still smiling.

"…So you've come, Kai," she said softly.

Her eyes glowed faintly.

Not red.

Something else.

Something deeper.

"…Good."

Because now—

The game had truly begun.
