I opened my eyes to white. Just... white everywhere.
The walls were white, the floor was white, even the ceiling stretched endlessly above me in the same blank, colorless expanse. It was like someone had erased the world and forgotten to draw it back in.
"Hello?" My voice echoed, bouncing off the walls and coming back to me. "Is anyone there?"
I got nothing back, just silence pressing in from all sides.
I turned in a slow circle, searching for a door, a window, anything that would tell me where I was or how to get out. My heart started beating faster. This place felt really weird. Not dangerous exactly, but not real either. Like I was standing inside a dream that hadn't fully formed.
"Hello?" I called again, louder this time.
Still nothing.
