The vast field stretched as far as the eye could see, covering the land on all sides until it reached the horizon.

The eyes could see nothing but two colors that harmonized with one another, the green of the field and the blue of the sky.

The fragrant scent of spring filled the air and filled his nostrils with joy.

A smile appeared on his face, the man looked young, as if he were in his twenties.

He had slightly long, silky, tousled hair, light brown skin, and green eyes like endless mountain forests.

His clothes looked contrasting, bold, and unconventional.

He wore simple white sneakers with light blue jeans and a white shirt, topped with a black jacket with white trim.

Around his neck was a black tie, but it was draped behind his back, on his right wrist was a white tie tied around his wrist, and on his left wrist was a gray tie.

He looked out at the vast field with a smile.

Part of the field vanished into thin air, and a copper colored castle began to take shape.

There was no basis for its existence, just as part of the field had vanished into thin air, the giant castle had appeared out of nowhere as well.

Part of the field vanished once more, this section had surrounded the copper castle.

Anemones bloomed around the castle, spreading a beautiful scent.

The exquisite scene was reflected in the man's green eyes, he smiled even more brightly.

"Beautiful."

There was no lesser description than this, and if there had been a better one, he would have said it.

Clack.

He opened the door.

The man entered the castle, with a single thought, a scene formed inside it.

It was not the scene of a castle at all, but white everywhere, the sky had vanished, and the ground had vanished.

White spread everywhere.

'What a hollow fantasy. What shall I create this time? If my power were stronger, I would have unleashed a greater danger.' the man thought calmly.

'Alright, I'll leave it at that and move forward. I have one point left to reach the next level.'

A devastated Go board appeared, covered in blood.

The man looked at the terrifying scene on the board, the round stones were scattered everywhere, and some had fallen to the ground.

It was no longer a position to play, for amidst the blood stained pieces were human eyes.

Although the eyes were found alone, without a head or anything else, they weren't cloudy or lifeless.

Somehow, the eyes were alive, and their sparkle hadn't faded.

"So what are you going to show me now?"

The eyes didn't react immediately, instead, they rose slightly into the air and began spinning around each other nonstop.

A minute passed.

Two minutes.

Five minutes.

Ten minutes.

Seventeen minutes.

The eyes stopped spinning and revealed only two images.

The same face, black eyes, brown eyes, black hair, brown hair.

Twins.

Deebt and Jazz.

"What is this? This is the first time two people have appeared. Who are these people? Variables?"

The man asked several questions at once.

A thick black halo, like smoke, began to appear around one of the images.

It was none other than Deebt.

"Why?"

There was no answer to his question because the Eyes collapsed onto the screen.

"Who is this boy?"

"Why are the Eyes of the Future showing him to me?"

"Is he a threat to me? To the world?"

"What about his twin? Why isn't there a black halo around him?"

"This is truly dangerous, I must kill them."

Amid the spreading whiteness, the man paced back and forth, asking aloud.

His heart felt a slight heaviness.

What kind of people make the future revolve solely around them?

A dangerous kind of people, major variables.

The man had never known or seen Deebt and Jazz in his life, and he had no information about them.

But his heart sensed danger, the heaviness in his heart grew, and he sank deeper.

Boom, boom, boom, boom.

The more he thought about the image of Deebt, surrounded by that black aura, the more terrified he felt.

'Am I afraid? Of a boy?'

There was no explanation for his feeling, his intuition? Perhaps.

'What if he's incredibly powerful? Even surpassing my own abilities? But he's just a young man, how could that be?'

'Does he have some kind of treasure, or a powerful ability?'

'What should I do? Should I stick to the original plan, or go look for them and assess the situation?'

The man thought more, and asked himself more questions.

In his eyes, Deebt was a dangerous variable, he hadn't even paid attention to the image of Jazz.

The "Eyes of the Future" were his own treasure, and the reason and motivation behind him reaching where he was with his pitiful talent.

If he hadn't put in the effort, the treasure wouldn't have helped him either.

The "Eyes of the Future" had never shown anyone's image in such a dark way as they had with Deebt.

Every individual who appeared through the Eyes posed a massive threat, either to him, or to the world. He didn't care about the world, yet he always found himself in grave danger, hovering between life and death because of them.

He had tried it before and nearly met his end.

"I'll reach the next level, and when I'm 50% there, I'll go kill them with all my might."

The man thought, and determination flashed in his eyes, which resembled mountain forests.

His previous hesitation vanished as he asked the questions, and a tremendous intent to kill radiated from him, turning the vast whiteness completely black.

The man thought of a door, and an exit gate appeared before him.

He returned to the real world, and the castle disappeared, but the field from before was gone.

Now the place was just a red dirt pit in the middle of the field.

As for the man, he had simply vanished.

Deebt swam with all his might and did his best.

But in an instant, he felt completely exposed, a strange sensation enveloped him.

Deeb stopped swimming and surfaced.

He looked around cautiously, he didn't understand where the feeling had come from, but he sensed danger.

Jazz swam calmly alongside an indifferent young man, then suddenly stopped.

He didn't speak, nor did he look around.

'Things are moving faster than I expected. Has the future changed that much?'

Jazz thought for a moment.

'The Eyes of the Future, did they show my image? Or an image of me and Deebt?'

Jazz's expression changed, and he unleashed a tremendous killing intent, Jazz was furious.

Brera turned to see the source of this immense pressure, in her eyes, there was nothing but Jazz, who had stopped swimming.

Brera was shocked and didn't understand a thing.

Her impression of Jazz from the start had been that he was a good person, but now?

Son Mai Si also looked behind him, but his expression didn't change, he remained indifferent.

The other students turned around, and the coach looked at Jazz in shock.

'What kind of killing intent is this? It's incredibly intense.' the instructor thought, puzzled.
