Chapter 13 - Elf Rage

Part 1: Fate

The scene shifted to Himeno Village.

It showed Elina and her regular lifestyle.

After Haruto left, Elina had been mastering her ritual skills and powers.

Although she was the only elf in Himeno, she still worked her best to support their household expenses.

One day—

Elina was inside her house, cooking food for her aunt.

Then suddenly—

Her uncle appeared.

"Elina," her uncle said.

"Yes," Elina replied.

"Come with me," her uncle said.

"What happened?" Elina asked.

"Just come with me," her uncle said.

"Okay," Elina said.

Uncle and Elina entered a room.

Her uncle took out a staff—

—and gave it to Elina.

"Now I believe you are worthy for this," her uncle said.

"Are you sure, uncle?" Elina asked.

"I am sure," her uncle replied.

After that—

In the afternoon, Elina went to the forest for a little training.

"This staff looks expensive…"

"This staff will increase my power a lot," Elina said.

She started to cast a spell.

She focused on her eco energy.

Then she used a ritual—

Quarter Blast.

It was a big white energy beam.

It hit a tree—

—and destroyed it completely.

She had not used the staff.

Then she held the staff.

She started to cast the spell again.

She used it once more.

This time—

The attack was far more powerful than before.

It destroyed 100+ trees at once.

Despite using her full eco energy, Elina became shocked at the power of the staff.

Then evening started to arrive.

The scene shifted to a cave nearby Himeno.

A group of people wearing black cloaks covered themselves completely.

They started to cast a spell.

A summoning circle appeared on the ground.

Then—

Boom.

A dragon-like monster appeared.

The group ordered the dragon to attack Himeno Village.

The dragon moved toward the village—

—and began its flame attack.

The villagers became afraid.

They started to run everywhere to save their lives.

Elina's uncle noticed the dragon.

He immediately attacked it.

He was a former mage.

He cast multiple fire rituals at the dragon—

—but they had no effect.

The dragon unleashed continuous flamethrower attacks.

Every house—

Every place—

started to burn.

Many people died.

Then her uncle used a special ritual technique to fly—

—and attacked the dragon's head.

Elina arrived at the scene.

She was shocked by the chaos.

She saw her aunt—

Praying, trembling, unsure whether her husband would survive.

Then—

The dragon suddenly bit her uncle's lower body.

He fell to the ground.

He looked at Elina and his wife—

—and with a smile… he died.

Elina became completely hopeless.

She had lived with her uncle since the beginning.

And now—

She had lost him.

She did not feel fear—

She felt rage.

A rage so intense that—

Her face turned dark, her expression becoming terrifying.

Then suddenly—

From her head—

Two wings and a diamond-shaped symbol appeared.

It was the awakened power of an elf.

Elves were known to possess immense eco energy—

—and unmatched ritual casting ability.

The symbol on her forehead was called—

Elf Tempest Form.

Then Elina began to float into the sky.

Not because of a ritual—

—but because of the overwhelming eco energy overflowing from her body.

Her energy spread everywhere.

She became terrifying—

Even to the dragon.

She stared at it with a death glare.

Her eyes turned white.

Her beauty transformed into pure rage.

The dragon began to shake under her immense energy.

But it still attacked.

Elina used Quarter Blast—

—and injured the dragon.

The dragon attacked again with flamethrowers and everything it had.

But Elina dodged every move easily.

Eventually—

The dragon became tired.

Then Elina cast another ritual—

"Mass Quarter Execution."

Multiple ritual circles appeared around the dragon.

Then—

Multiple Quarter Blasts were released at once.

They struck the dragon—

Piercing its body with countless holes.

Then Elina destroyed what remained with continuous Quarter Blasts.

The dragon was completely annihilated.

She stopped.

She landed on the ground.

Her Elf Tempest Form disappeared.

She became tired.

Her aunt ran toward her—

—and hugged her while crying.

Then the surviving villagers gathered.

But instead of gratitude—

They complained.

They said Elina had destroyed many houses.

They still hated her—

Because she was an elf.

Then—

Clap

Clap

A person appeared in front of them—

Wearing a helmet.

"Oh… nice. That was a cool fight," the man said.

More people appeared behind him.

They introduced themselves as an adventurer party.

They had witnessed Elina's battle.

They saw how the village treated her.

So they made her an offer—

If she wanted—

She could join their party.

Elina agreed.

Not because she wanted adventure—

But because of the way her village treated her.

She hugged her aunt once again.

"I will return soon, aunt."

Then—

Elina left the village.

She left with the adventurer party.

And just like that—

She became an adventurer.

At the end—

The scene shifted back to the group in black cloaks.

One of them asked—

"Is she the Watcher?"

Another replied—

"No. The Watcher has already left this place."

A third voice spoke—

"We have to find the Watcher… no matter what."
