Toku Nakamura was done. Rain hammered the balcony as he stood there in his rumpled shirt, tie loose, the city lights blurring below like they never mattered. Thirty-four years of dead-end days, empty nights, shame he buried under work and screens. No one waited for him. No one would miss him. He stepped off without a word.

Then he woke up.

Salt air hit his lungs first. Wood creaked under him. Blond curls fell across his eyes, one eyebrow curling in that familiar spiral. A cigarette rested between his lips, unlit. He flexed fingers that felt too strong, legs that could shatter stone.

The Going Merry swayed gently. Luffy's voice rang out from the galley—loud, hungry, unchanged. "Sanji! Meat!"

Nami's laugh followed, sharp and bright. Zoro grumbled something about directions. Usopp boasted. Chopper's hooves pattered across deck. Robin turned a page with that soft, knowing smile.

Everything the same. The crew. The ship. The sea stretching endless ahead.

But the man inside wasn't Sanji. Not anymore.

What used to hide in the dark now stirred freely. Every curve on deck, every casual brush, every quiet moment in the galley—it all felt like invitation. He could cook their meals, flirt shamelessly, protect them like always. They trusted him. Completely.

The world beyond the horizon was new. Strange islands. Faces he'd never seen. Powers that could change everything.

He'll smile. He'll fight. He'll wait.

And when the moment comes, he'll take what he's always wanted.

Paradise just got a little darker.
