Chapter 50 - The Blood Knight of Eclipse

Silence did not return to the battlefield after the destruction of the three Allure clones.

Instead, the silence collapsed beneath a growing sense of dread.

The last remaining Allure hovered above the ruined arena, her crimson and silver eyes fixed upon the battlefield below. Around her lay the remains of the other copies. Moments ago, they had been identical beings—perfect reflections of one another, smiling with the same confidence and overwhelming power.

Now they were broken.

Severed.

Motionless.

For several seconds, nothing happened.

Then the corpses began to move.

Not through physical force. Not because of wind or gravity. Something far stranger was occurring.

Crimson-black particles slowly rose from the remains like drifting embers. They peeled away from shattered armor and ruined flesh, lifting into the air in countless streams of glowing ash.

The sight was unsettling.

It looked as though the fallen copies refused to die.

The particles drifted upward with quiet inevitability and converged toward the final Allure.

Her expression changed.

The amusement that had defined her throughout the battle disappeared.

The playful smile faded.

What remained was something deeper.

Something colder.

Something far more dangerous.

"So that's how it is..."

Her voice echoed through the chamber.

One by one, the drifting particles reached her body and disappeared into her armor.

The first stream merged into her chest.

The second flowed into her back.

The third vanished into her arms.

Every fragment of the fallen clones returned to their origin.

As the absorption continued, the atmosphere changed.

The pressure throughout the arena multiplied.

The ground beneath Elias, Kiraya, Fayzan, and the surviving players groaned under the weight of her presence. Existing cracks deepened. New fractures spread across the floor.

The dungeon itself seemed unable to withstand what was about to emerge.

Rio remained motionless.

She said nothing.

Her crimson eye remained fixed upon Allure.

Watching.

Studying.

Understanding.

Then the transformation began.

It wasn't violent.

There was no explosion of power or grotesque mutation.

Instead, it felt deliberate.

As though this had always been her true form.

Her armor expanded first.

The elegant black-and-crimson plating cracked apart before reforming into something far more monstrous. Jagged layers emerged across her body, each plate stained with dark crimson patterns that resembled dried blood.

Then her back split open.

Not flesh.

Not bone.

Something worse.

The four floating swords that had once fought independently began to shift.

Their forms folded and twisted before spreading outward behind her.

Like wings.

Each blade aligned perfectly alongside the others, forming a massive halo of sharpened steel.

The sight resembled an angel's wings.

If angels were born from nightmares.

Then her arms multiplied.

Two became four.

Four became six.

Six became eight.

The new limbs emerged with unnatural smoothness, extending outward from beneath her armor. Every movement remained perfectly coordinated.

Perfectly controlled.

Perfectly wrong.

The transformation continued.

Her fingers elongated.

The joints sharpened.

The hands themselves gradually lost their human appearance until every finger resembled a blade.

She no longer wielded weapons.

She had become one.

Then came the worst part.

A ripple traveled across her torso.

The armor shifted.

Opened.

And mouths appeared.

Dozens of them.

Across her shoulders.

Across her arms.

Across her chest.

Each mouth was lined with jagged teeth.

Each one opened and closed independently.

They did not speak.

They simply breathed.

The sound alone sent chills down every spine in the chamber.

"…So this is what you've forced me into."

Her voice echoed from every mouth simultaneously.

Dozens of voices overlapped into one horrifying chorus.

The battlefield froze.

Even Kiraya struggled to move.

Even Fayzan felt his instincts screaming at him.

Even Elias, who had faced death countless times, found himself staring.

Not because of fear alone.

Because the sheer presence of the creature before them was overwhelming.

A boss notification appeared within their minds.

Not displayed clearly.

Not announced aloud.

Simply understood.

Allure, The Blood Knight of Eclipse

The title alone carried weight.

The transformed Allure slowly descended toward the ground.

Each step shook the battlefield.

Heavy.

Deliberate.

Final.

Then she stopped.

Her gaze settled upon Rio.

For a moment, she remained completely still.

Then her eyes narrowed.

Not toward Rio herself.

Toward her weapon.

The Crimson Bloodmoon.

The mythic blade pulsed.

Once.

Twice.

Three times.

The weapon reacted.

Not with fear.

Not with submission.

But with challenge.

The crimson aura surrounding the blade intensified dramatically.

Mana surged outward from it like a heartbeat.

The weapon had recognized its opponent.

And it refused to back down.

A low sound escaped Allure's many mouths.

Almost a laugh.

Almost admiration.

"Interesting."

Her bladed wings shifted behind her.

The swords aligned.

The mouths across her body opened slightly.

Rows of teeth grinding together.

"You've brought something that dares stand against me."

The crimson aura around Rio intensified in response.

Neither side looked away.

Neither side yielded.

"Good."

The word echoed through dozens of mouths at once.

Then Allure moved.

There was no warning.

No visible preparation.

One moment she stood still.

The next she was already attacking.

Eight bladed arms struck simultaneously.

Every angle was lethal.

Every movement perfectly synchronized.

The assault came from every direction at once.

A storm of blades capable of shredding entire armies.

Rio did not retreat.

She did not dodge.

She did not hesitate.

The Crimson Bloodmoon rose.

CLANG!

The impact exploded across the battlefield.

Shockwaves erupted in every direction.

The ground beneath Rio's feet shattered instantly.

Massive cracks spread outward.

Dust and debris filled the air.

Yet Rio stood firm.

Every strike.

Every arm.

Every impossible angle.

Stopped against a single blade.

Her crimson eye burned brighter than ever.

The pressure between them intensified.

Then Rio spoke.

"You talk too much."

The atmosphere trembled.

Because everyone watching understood the truth.

This was no longer a battle between a player and a boss.

Two monsters now stood at the center of the battlefield.

And neither intended to yield.

The clash intensified immediately.

Steel screamed against steel as Rio found herself standing at the center of a relentless storm.

Allure's eight bladed limbs attacked continuously.

Each strike carried enough force to split stone.

Each attack arrived from impossible angles.

Each movement was designed to kill.

Yet Rio endured.

Her footing never faltered.

Her breathing remained steady.

Her crimson eye tracked every movement.

Then she made a decision.

The flintlock musket slipped from her left hand.

It fell to the ground beside her.

At the same moment, her inventory opened.

A flash of light appeared.

Another weapon materialized.

The Imperial Saber.

Where the Crimson Bloodmoon embodied overwhelming force and domination, the Imperial Saber represented precision and elegance.

Now Rio wielded both.

Two swords.

Two styles.

One fighter.

Her stance changed instantly.

Her center of gravity shifted.

Every movement became smoother.

More fluid.

More dangerous.

Then she attacked.

The Imperial Saber intercepted one of Allure's incoming arms and redirected it.

The Crimson Bloodmoon crashed into another limb and forced it aside through sheer power.

The pressure broke.

For the first time since her transformation, Allure staggered.

Only slightly.

But enough.

Rio stepped forward.

One step.

That was all.

A perfectly timed cross-slash followed.

The Imperial Saber struck first.

The Crimson Bloodmoon followed immediately after.

The combined force detonated against Allure's guard.

The Blood Knight was forced backward.

Her massive form slid across the battlefield.

Armor scraped against stone.

The ground cracked beneath her feet.

For the first time since evolving—

She lost ground.

Behind them, Ryota moved.

His eyes immediately found the fallen musket.

"Got it."

He sprinted forward and grabbed the weapon before turning toward the battle.

The moment he aimed, energy began gathering around his arm.

His ability activated.

Scalular Impact.

Power condensed into the musket.

The weapon trembled.

Then he fired.

BANG!

The bullet shot forward like a cannon shell.

Allure tilted her head.

The shot missed.

The projectile struck the battlefield behind her instead.

BOOM!

Stone exploded.

A massive crater formed instantly.

Ryota fired again.

And again.

And again.

Every shot missed.

At least intentionally.

The bullets carved new scars across the battlefield.

Creating craters.

Uneven footing.

Broken terrain.

Rio immediately understood his strategy.

He wasn't trying to hit.

He was reshaping the battlefield itself.

Creating opportunities.

Creating mistakes.

Creating openings.

"Keep going, Rio!" Ryota shouted.

Rio didn't answer.

She simply accelerated.

Her dual blades moved faster than before.

Strike.

Parry.

Cut.

Advance.

Again and again.

The pressure mounted.

Allure's eight arms fought back relentlessly, but Rio continued forcing her backward.

Then it happened.

One misstep.

One tiny error.

Allure's foot landed on weakened stone.

One of Ryota's craters collapsed beneath her weight.

Her balance shifted.

Only slightly.

But in a battle at this level, that was everything.

Rio saw it instantly.

Her eyes sharpened.

Opportunity.

She took it without hesitation.

Both blades aligned.

Her body twisted.

Power flowed through both weapons simultaneously.

Then she struck.

The slash was clean.

Precise.

Devastating.

One of Allure's arms separated from her body completely.

The severed limb spun through the air before crashing onto the battlefield.

Blackened blood poured from the wound.

The liquid hissed upon contact with stone, burning the ground wherever it touched.

For half a second, silence consumed the battlefield.

Then Allure screamed.

Not in pain.

In rage.

Pure, overwhelming rage.

The mouths across her body opened wide.

Her remaining arms trembled.

Her wings spread violently.

"You—!"

Rio stepped backward into a ready stance.

The Crimson Bloodmoon rested in one hand.

The Imperial Saber in the other.

Her crimson aura surged around her.

Steady.

Unshaken.

Behind her, Ryota lowered the smoking musket.

A grin spread across his face.

"Got her."

But everyone understood the truth.

The Blood Knight of Eclipse was wounded.

She was furious.

And the most dangerous part of the battle was only beginning.
