Loreen's POV
Loreen stood there and looked at Sairis. The anger was still there but it had shifted slightly, moved aside just enough for something else to get through.
He had seen that bruise and something in him had snapped before he could stop it. The color of it, the shape of it, the fact that someone had put their hand on Sairis while Sairis was doing something that Loreen had not even sanctioned in the first place.
He had lost his temper and said things in a way that he probably should not have said them.
He sighed and moved closer to where Sairis was sitting and exhaled. "I may have…"
"Forget it," Sairis said. His voice was flat and sharp. "Do not talk to me right now."
Loreen stopped. "Sairis I'm trying to…" he said but again, was cut off.
"Fuck you, Loreen. I seriously do not care about what you're trying to say." Sairis said quietly. "Just do not talk to me."
Loreen blinked. He stood there for a moment and said nothing.
