Why?
Neo didn't stop asking himself that question even as he boarded a ride back to school and was driven far away from the Sterling mansion.
Why?
Why would Bryce want to worship and love him? What did he do to take such a place in Bryce's heart for so long?
Neo believed he wasn't worth it. He wasn't worth all that trouble and dedication.
All he did in all of those years Bryce idolized him was to lay there lifelessly. Nothing else. He did absolutely nothing. And yet, Bryce was this way.
Neo reached Gomas in the afternoon. His dorm was very lively around the time he returned. But Neo didn't care why and only wanted to be with his own self. He set off to his room quickly and walked in.
He had forgotten that he had an unwelcome roommate.
After Neo took a step into the lighted room, he saw Raze walking towards the door at the same time, and he flinched with surprise.
"Fuck," Neo cussed before his heart stabilized.
