Neo could remember when he was about fifteen years old. He couldn't remember vividly, but his memories were still there. The memorable portions at least.
At this age, it had become very important to be sociable to others. Something that Neo wasn't very good at. He had always preferred to be on his own and really didn't know what to say when he was with other people.
He could never relate to things he overheard the other hunters and restorers in the training institute were always talking about.
The older people had told him that it was because he became a hunter too early and missed hanging out with people his age. But Neo never thought his early differentiation brought about any disadvantage to him.
While others got their abilities at fourteen or fifteen and differentiated into second genders at eighteen or probably even older ages, Neo had manifested his abilities the same day he became an omega.
