The graduation was finally completed.
The campus, once full of noise, laughter, and chaos… now felt strangely quiet.
Caps were thrown in the air. Photos were taken. Smiles were everywhere… but behind those smiles, everyone knew — this was the end of a beautiful chapter.
Swati stood holding her graduation certificate, looking around slowly.
"Bas… ho gaya," she whispered.
"Hmm… ho gaya," Abhi replied, standing beside her.
For a moment, both of them just watched their friends — Priyanka laughing loudly, Aditya teasing her, Aditi talking softly with Lavesh.
Everything felt perfect… and painful at the same time.
"Swati," Abhi said softly, "dar lag raha hai?"
She looked at him. "Thoda."
"Kis baat ka?"
"Sab change ho jayega."
Abhi smiled slightly. "Change hoga… par sab khatam nahi hoga."
Swati didn't reply, but her eyes showed she wanted to believe him.
Meanwhile…
"Tum mujhe daily call karoge na?" Priyanka asked, crossing her arms.
Aditya smirked. "Nahi."
Priyanka frowned. "Kya?"
"Daily nahi… din mein 3 baar."
She rolled her eyes but smiled. "Pagal."
A little away…
Aditi stood quietly.
Lavesh walked towards her. "So… finally graduate ho gaye."
Aditi nodded. "Haan… aur ab?"
"Ab…" he paused, then smiled, "tumhare saath future plan karte hain."
Aditi looked surprised… then smiled shyly.
Back near the main gate…
Everyone gathered one last time.
"Group photo!" Rohit shouted.
They all came together — laughing, pushing, adjusting.
The camera clicked.
One picture… holding thousands of memories.
As the sun slowly started setting…
Goodbyes began.
Hugs got tighter. Smiles got softer.
"Stay in touch,"
"Don't forget,"
"Call me,"
"Take care…"
Words repeated… but emotions felt real.
Finally…
Swati and Abhi stood near the gate.
"This is it," Swati said.
"Not really," Abhi replied. "This is just the start."
Swati looked at him. "Distance aa gaya toh?"
Abhi stepped closer.
"Distance sirf map pe hota hai… dil mein nahi."
She smiled faintly.
"Promise?" she asked.
Abhi extended his hand.
"Promise."
Swati held it.
And in that moment…
they didn't feel scared anymore.
Because some bonds…
don't end with college.
