"Lady Goddess! Please calm down!" Lili screamed in utter panic.
She didn't understand the complex politics between deities, but it was clear to her that the kindly-looking old man sitting across from Seito and Sora had deeply insulted Hestia! Otherwise, her goddess would never have lost her temper so violently.
"Phew~~"
Hearing Lili's cries, Hestia reeled in her power. "Sorry, Lili. I lost my head for a second."
Hestia offered a quick apology, though the cold rage on her face didn't fade in the slightest!
"I-It's alright, Lady Goddess! Just catch your breath..." Lili panted as she dragged herself back up, forcing a weak smile.
Hestia was always so kind to her, so seeing her this furious made Lili deeply uncomfortable.
"Mhm," Hestia nodded softly.

Seito and Sora kept silent. Neither of them had expected Zeus to actually try to tear away the core Authorities of his own pantheon!
"Twelve Authorities? You're saying the main Authority of your pantheon has already been split into twelve pieces?" Seito asked, looking at Zeus while acting completely ignorant of the Western Mythos's inner setup.
As a newly ascended God-King who had never visited the Western Sector, acting clueless was the only natural choice—otherwise, Zeus might suspect a trap.
"Correct," Zeus said, suspecting nothing. Seito had been busy hunting deities ever since he ascended from the lower domains, offending countless factions along the way. It was only natural that he didn't know the inner workings of the Western Mythos.
"Then why choose me?" Seito asked again.
Zeus kept his lips sealed. Could he admit that he had already tried inviting the ruling God-Kings of the other sectors first?
Absolutely not! The prices those old monsters demanded were simply far too steep!
Seeing Zeus dodge the question, Seito didn't press the issue.
"Let's try another question then: what's your actual plan here?" Seito redirected the conversation smoothly.
"I plan to execute them directly and seize their Main God Authorities by force.
However, they have too many God-Kings on their side, so I can't pull off the harvest alone," Zeus answered after a quick pause.
He had brought up the subject of core Authorities with Hestia and the others in the past, but no one was willing to surrender their share. The reason was blindingly simple: that Authority was the absolute foundation required to breach into the Main God Realm! Anyone who handed it over voluntarily would be an idiot!
So, Zeus decided to take it by force—even if it meant slaughtering every single one of his fellow gods.
Hearing this, Seito and Sora remained silent. If they were standing in Zeus's shoes, they might have made the exact same play for power. But their positions were entirely different—they were on Hestia's team, after all.
"The job is doable, but what are you paying me?" Seito asked cleanly.
"I can offer you one billion divine power points. On top of that, you can take any female deity or God-King in the Western Mythos Faction for yourself," Zeus offered casually.
Seeing so many female deities step out of Seito's Divine Kingdom earlier—and noticing that Sora was the sole male among his core executives—Zeus felt completely certain: Seito was a wild stud, just like himself!
A stallion targeting another stallion? Using women as currency is obviously the most effective move!
Seito and Sora's eyelids twitched violently at the same time.
Sora's cheek twitched not because Seito was getting female deities—men wanting a large harem was normal enough—but because of the Western Mythos itself! How many pure, untouched goddesses were even left in that messy pantheon? Let's not forget: Zeus was an absolute predator! This guy was genuinely repulsive!
Seito held the exact same sentiment. The two traded a quick glance, feeling a shared wave of disgust.
"What's wrong? The terms aren't good enough?" Zeus's brow locked into a tight frown.
As expected, it wasn't going to be that easy! He really lives up to his title as the ruler of the Central Region!
One billion divine power points plus female deities was his absolute baseline offer. He had originally hoped to take advantage of Seito's newcomer status by lowballing him, but it seemed the Space God-King had seen right through it.
After a brief pause, Zeus gritted his teeth and added, "I'll throw in another hundred Divine Runes."

Sora: "???"
The two stared at Zeus in sheer disbelief. They hadn't even uttered a single word of rejection yet, and Zeus was already raising his own bid out of nowhere!
Seeing their blank expressions, Zeus maintained a calm, indifferent mask on the outside, but inside, panic was setting in fast. Dammit! That bump was still too stingy!
Biting the bullet, Zeus blurted out again: "Five hundred Divine Runes!"

Sora: "..."
The two were completely dumbfounded now. What was wrong with this old geezer? Why was he frantically outbidding himself when no one had asked him to?
Seeing that Seito and Sora were still frozen without a response, Zeus took a deep breath.
"Fifteen billion divine power points, five hundred Divine Runes, plus your pick of any female deity or God-King! That is my absolute final bottom line!"
"Deal!" Seito agreed immediately, nodding his head.
This offer was likely squeezing Zeus completely dry. Regardless of the details, agreeing first was the smartest move—they could always just execute the old geezer when the time came anyway!
Hearing Seito's swift acceptance, Zeus let out a massive sigh of relief.
A warm, friendly smile returned to his face as he looked at Seito: "Space God-King, I'll be hosting a private divine banqueting session tomorrow. You can head straight over when the time comes."
Zeus didn't want to waste a single day. To secure his Main God ascension as soon as possible, he planned to strike tomorrow night and wipe out the other eleven authority holders in one go!
"No problem," Seito replied cleanly.
"Wonderful!"
Zeus flicked his right wrist, and a dense, intricate cluster of golden lines materialized in his hand. "Consider these your advance deposit!"
Five hundred Divine Runes served merely as the down payment—the rest of the goods would be delivered once the massacre was complete.
"Much appreciated," Seito accepted the five hundred Divine Runes without a hint of hesitation.
A satisfied smile touched his lips as he looked at the old man before him, his gaze softening considerably. Why call Zeus a "gift-bearing child"? The guy was an old geezer, making "Santa Claus" a far more fitting nickname! These five hundred Divine Runes were enough to upgrade Kaede and Kirukiru Amou's sets straight into God-King tier gear!
"Space God-King, remember to meet me in the Western Sector tomorrow night at eight. I won't linger any longer." Zeus rose slowly from his seat.
"Understood." Seito and Sora stood up as well.
After exchanging a few quick pleasantries, Zeus vanished in a flash of divine light under the watchful eyes of Seito and Sora.
