Chapter 371: All Members Level 10! Scaring the Spectators Out of Their Wits!
.....
"Hehehe!!"
"Don't even think about running! Die for me!"
"Ora ora ora ora...!"
The members of the Fatui Guild grinned savagely, crowding around the blond punk and his thugs and stomping them into the ground!
The pedestrians watching from the sidewalk were completely dumbfounded! This was the first time they had ever seen such a large group of people beating another gang to a pulp in broad daylight.
No one in Orario ever did this. After all, the Adventurer's Guild strictly banned fighting in public. If anyone had a grudge, they would usually settle it in secret at night or find an empty alley to handle it.
Yet, the Fatui Guild members had completely broken that unwritten law. The sudden shock left the crowd unable to process what was happening.
"Are these guys... adventurers?" Loki muttered from the side, looking completely puzzled. Since Kitahara Iori and his group weren't wearing light armor or any standard adventurer gear, Loki couldn't tell if they belonged to a Familia.
"Hmph!"
Bete Loga, the werewolf, let out a cold snort. "If you ask me, it's probably just a bunch of low-level rookies getting beaten up after picking a fight with high-level adventurers."
Bete remembered the members of the Apollo Familia perfectly well. He knew exactly how annoying and stuck-up they were. Seeing them get beaten half to death didn't surprise him at all; after all, those guys were used to acting like they owned the streets.
Hearing Bete's words, the rest of the Loki Familia paused. They took a closer look at the thugs on the ground and realized he was right. They had all seen the Apollo Familia members before and knew their reputation.
While that Familia wasn't considered top-tier, they weren't weak either, with plenty of Level 2 adventurers in their ranks. But seeing them get completely crushed like this only proved how incredibly strong Kitahara Iori and his group really were!
Smack! Thud! Crack...!!
As time passed, the spectators watching the one-sided beating couldn't help but twitch their mouths.
The reason was simple: the Fatui Guild's fighting methods were incredibly dirty. Low blows, cheap shots, face stomping, and eye poking—everyone used the exact same underhanded tactics. Quite a few male adventurers felt a sudden chill run down their spines, clutching themselves and trembling in fear.
Stomp, stomp, stomp, stomp...
Right at that moment, a rush of urgent footsteps broke through the noise. A group of guards from the Adventurer's Guild finally arrived at the scene.
"Everyone, please calm down!"
A middle-aged man stepped forward from the Guild line. Although he intended to stop the Fatui members from beating the Apollo thugs any further, he was careful not to put on an arrogant attitude.
Hearing the shout, the Fatui members stopped their attacks and turned their heads to stare at him.
"Who are you?" Hidenori Tabata asked, wiping his brow.
"I am a representative of the Adventurer's Guild. Dear adventurer, which Familia do you belong to?" the middle-aged man replied politely, tossing a question back.
"Me?"
Hidenori turned around to look back inside the shattered pub, and the rest of the guild members followed his gaze. Seeing this, the surrounding crowd looked over as well.
They saw a young man with white hair and an incredibly handsome face slowly walking out of the building. With just a single glance, everyone on the street could immediately tell that he was a god!
"I've never seen him before," Loki murmured, searching through her memories. She racked her brain for a good moment but realized she had absolutely no record of meeting Seito in the heavens. This left her deeply confused.
"Hello. My name is Seito, the Space God-King," Seito walked up to the middle-aged representative and spoke with a calm smile.
Hearing his title, several native gods in the crowd froze.
The God of Space?
Quite a few gods from the Western Mythos Faction were completely stunned. In ancient Greek mythology, Chaos was the original primordial god of space! But it was glaringly obvious that Seito was not Chaos.
Because of this, everyone's expressions became incredibly strange. They quickly deduced that Seito was not a god from their own Western Mythos Faction.
"Are you an outside god?" Loki stepped out from her Familia lineup, narrowing her eyes as she looked at Seito.
"That's right," Seito nodded, offering a friendly smile. "If we aren't welcome here, we can pack up and leave at any time."
The meaning behind his words was crystal clear: Kitahara Iori and the rest of the suited men weren't from this world either!
The native residents of the DanMachi planet stood completely frozen. They never expected to suddenly run into an outside god and a massive group of visitors from another world.
"Dear... Lord God, we represent the Adventurer's Guild. Would it be possible to ask your Familia members to completely stop their attacks? It will cause a lot of trouble if someone gets killed in the middle of Orario," the middle-aged official said very respectfully.
Whether it was Hestia and the native gods of their own faction, or an outside god like Seito, the Guild couldn't afford to offend any of them. After all, the gap between a god and a mortal was simply too vast.
"No problem," Seito didn't make things difficult and agreed right away.
Hearing his answer, the Guild officials let out a massive sigh of relief. Thank goodness this god was easy to talk to, otherwise the consequences would be terrifying to imagine.
"By the way, I'd like to register a brand-new Familia here, and these men will be joining under my name," Seito added, pointing his right index finger toward Kitahara Iori and the rest of the guild members. Since the Adventurer's Guild was already on-site, it was the perfect time to handle the paperwork.
"Of course, that's no problem," the middle-aged man nodded quickly.
With the approval locked in, Seito turned his head and cast a cold, indifferent glare at the tattered remnants of the Apollo Familia. "Get lost. And tell Apollo that if he wants to start a 'War Game,' I am ready to play whenever he likes!"
The blond punk and his thugs looked incredibly pale, their bodies covered in deep cuts and bruises. Gritting their teeth through the pain, they scrambled and crawled away from the plaza as fast as they could. When a god gave an order, they didn't dare to linger for even a second!
A moment later, once the thugs had cleared out, the middle-aged representative pulled out a small notebook. He looked toward Kitahara Iori and asked, "Could you please share your names and levels for our official records?"
Since Seito had openly claimed these men as his children in front of the entire street, the registration didn't need to be overly complicated. The Guild just needed to record their names and current power levels.
"Just call me the Grand Drunkard. Level 10," Kitahara Iori grinned widely.
Hearing his name made everyone blink in confusion. But in the very next second, the meaning of his words hit the crowd like a lightning bolt. A wave of pure shock washed over the plaza as everyone stared at Kitahara Iori in absolute horror.
Level 10!!!
This...! How could a mortal possibly reach such an impossibly high level?!
And looking closely at Kitahara Iori's face, the crowd felt their hearts pounding with massive shock!
