Chapter 195: The "Big Baby" Rocket Launcher? Sending Players to the Great Beyond.

....

The projectile streaked straight toward Iori Kitahara!

BOOM!

The rocket detonated right on top of him, fire blooming outward and smoke billowing toward the sky.

"These players are absolute freaks," Seito couldn't help but mutter.

Was that really necessary? Someone actually had a rocket launcher. Why was his own gear so lackluster by comparison? Thinking of this, Seito glanced at his Fire Kirin, while the two girls beside him also looked down at their own weapons.

Watching the player who had fired the rocket, Seito turned to his companions. "I have an idea."

A short while later...

The flames died down, and the smoke drifted away. Iori Kitahara stood there, perfectly intact.

"Hahaha...! Even that didn't work!" He laughed maniacally.

The brother with the rocket launcher felt his mental state instantly crumble. After all, if a high-yield weapon like that did nothing to Iori, what would?

"Brothers, what do we do now?"

"I don't know. Even the rocket launcher failed."

"Is it really impossible to kill this bastard?"

"Dammit! Should we just charge him and beat him up?"

"Wait! I have a special weapon here!"

A player suddenly stepped forward, drawing everyone's attention. He pulled out a bottle and hurled it toward Iori.

"Brother, have a glass of Oolong Tea!"

Whoosh—!

"Much appreciated, brother!" Iori grinned, reaching out to catch the bottle mid-air. Without a second thought, he popped the cap and downed a massive gulp.

The next second...

"Pffft—!"

He sprayed the liquid out instantly. Iori's knees buckled, and he collapsed face-first onto the pavement. The sight left everyone stunned.

"Hahaha! My weapon was laced with knock-out drugs! You idiot actually drank it! Hahaha!!" The player who threw the bottle roared with laughter, emerging from his hiding spot.

The rest of the "Rats" followed suit. They swarmed out from every corner, descending on Iori with a flurry of kicks and punches!

"Dammit! We can finally kill this kid!"

"Hmph! Still feel like mocking us?"

"Hey, should we strip his suit off before we finish him?"

"Obviously! What, are you planning to keep him for soup?"

"Good idea! I'll take the kidneys!"

"I'll take the arms!"

"I want his 'manhood'!"

"Whoa, brother, you're a bit too twisted..."

The players joked around, heckling each other as they dealt with the "Drunken Bastard."

Meanwhile, at Seito's position...

Just moments ago, while the other players were preoccupied with Iori, Seito had led Asuna and Sinon to the opposite building. They had taken out the player with the rocket launcher and claimed his weapon.

"Now this is nice~" Seito mused. Feeling the "Big Baby" in his hands, he suddenly felt the Fire Kirin was incredibly subpar. This was a real man's toy.

Hoisting the rocket launcher onto his shoulder, Seito walked to the window.

"Wait!" Seeing his movement, Sinon gasped. "You aren't planning to wipe out all those players below, are you?"

"Of course I am." Seito stopped at the window and took aim. "Why wouldn't we eliminate this many people at once?"

As he spoke, he pulled the trigger!

Whoosh—!

A streak of fire sliced through the air! The rocket lunged toward the cluster of players below. Hearing the whistle, they all looked up in unison.

The next second...

"Holy crap! A RAT!"

"Screw you! Was the guy with the rocket launcher a Rat too?! Dammit!"

"Ah! I'm cooked...!"

"My mental state is officially gone..."

BOOM!!

The moment the shell impacted, the entire area erupted in a violent explosion! The towering pillars of fire and dust seemed to mirror their sudden demise.

As the smoke cleared, Seito peered down. Because the players had been standing so close together, basically not a single one survived.

"Go, go, go! Let's go loot their gear." Seeing the ground littered with drops, Seito turned and hurried out. Asuna and Sinon shared a glance and followed close behind.

Three minutes later.

Squatting in the middle of the street, Seito picked through the equipment dropped by the fallen players.

"One sword for me."

"A machine gun, a light sniper, and a shotgun—one of each."

"Let's grab two handguns as well."

Seito shoved everything into his system inventory. Asuna and Sinon also picked out weapons, though they each only chose a small pistol.

Just as Seito grabbed a sniper rifle to head out, the fallen Iori Kitahara suddenly groaned and woke up.

"What... what happened?" Iori blinked groggily. Thanks to the Nano-Suit, he hadn't been killed by Seito's explosion, and the shockwave of the blast had actually served to wake him from his drugged stupor.

As his vision cleared, Iori bolted upright.

"Dammit! That Rat's drink was poisoned!" He finally realized why he'd passed out. It was a poison! Those dirty campers!

"You've certainly got a stubborn life, don't you?" Seito picked up a machine gun and handed it to Iori.

"Seito? Why are you here?" Iori took the gun, looking dazed.

"Don't worry about that," Seito interrupted. "Want to party up?"

Iori was a powerhouse tank. Since they were about to go on the offensive, having a meat shield to soak up bullets seemed like a brilliant idea.

"No problem!" Iori agreed instantly.

The four of them set off to hunt for other players.

One hour later.

Standing on a major boulevard, Seito checked the remaining player count.

[Current Players: 4,729]

"There are too many 'Camping Kings' left," Seito said helplessly. Every player was more of a coward than the last. There were still over four thousand people in the game.

"I wonder when this will ever end if it keeps going like this," Asuna said, rubbing her temples.

"Just take it slow," Sinon remarked, her expression calm.

"Seito, look ahead!" Iori suddenly shouted.
