Chapter 191: On the Forums, I'm a Soul Hall Elder! Even My Talent is a Full-Blown Rush!

...

Kuang raised his watch.

"Record a rule and test if '[Fighting/Killing]' is forbidden," Seito commanded.

Regardless of what those Western players were planning, if they were coming to cause trouble, he would just kill them all. There were plenty of Eastern players left; using them as "canaries" to trigger the rule mechanisms was no issue, though it might leave him with fewer tools to work with.

Kuang understood instantly and burned a trial-and-error attempt.

"Guild Master , killing is allowed!"

Seeing the confirmation on his watch, Kuang's expression gradually became... twisted.

Damn it! He was the type who dared to rush the Heavens and the Earth. Did a few puny Western players really think they could mess with him?

Rush them! Rush them to death!

"He..he....he...!!"

Kuang couldn't help but let out a sinister, cackling laugh. Seito, standing beside him, looked on with a startled expression.

"Do you... read a lot of web novels?"

"Exactly! On the forums, I'm known as a 'Soul Hall Rush Elder'! Even my game talent is 'Explosive Rush'! After rushing someone to death, my mental power doubles! Jie jie jie...!" Kuang laughed manically.

Seito: "..."

Damn it! Your talent is weirder than your name. Seito complained inwardly.

The two fell silent and slowly stood up. At that moment, the Western players reached them. A player around Level 20 stepped out from the crowd.

Seito glanced at his info.

[Player: Undead King]

[Level: 20]

"Are you Sei?" Undead King looked at Seito with an arrogant tilt of his chin.

"Are you an idiot? Can't you see the name above my head?" Seito countered.

"..."

This threw Undead King off. Of course he could see the name, but he thought asking like that sounded cooler. Shaking his head, he regained his haughty demeanor.

"Let me introduce myself. I am an Executive of one of the three great Western guilds: Scourge of the Undead."

"Just a Level 20 piece of trash," Seito said dismissively.

Undead King: "..."

Western Players: "..."

The Western players all looked at Undead King. His Level 20 tag was painfully eyesore-inducing when compared to the Level 60 tag floating above Kuang's head.

Undead King felt humiliated. He used to be Level 40, but after being hunted relentlessly by Eastern players, he had dropped back to Level 1. He had worked incredibly hard to claw his way back to 20—wasn't that fast enough?

"So, why are you looking for me?" Seito didn't care about the man's inner monologue; he only cared about his objective.

"Seito, I believe we can cooperate," Undead King said, taking a deep breath.

"Speak." Seito's face was unreadable.

Undead King organized his thoughts. "If we cooperate, all of us Western players will give our trial-and-error attempts to you. That way, your chances of success increase exponentially."

"Kill them," Seito said, turning to Kuang.

"You got it!" Kuang nodded.

The Western crowd: "..."

Hey, hey, hey! Are you serious? You're turning down that many free attempts?

Seito's face was filled with mockery. He didn't even want to cooperate with other Eastern players, let alone this trashy Western group. Besides, most Western players were far too arrogant; cooperating with them was a recipe for a headache.

At that moment, Kuang pulled out his weapon. Its shape was... unique, resembling a mushroom. The bizarre design left everyone on the scene speechless.

This... this weapon is way too inappropriate! Everyone, including Seito, felt the urge to complain.

Kuang didn't care. He aimed the weapon at the Western players. A sphere of energy began to coalesce at the "muzzle."

"He...he....he...! Eat my Heaven-Piercing Cannon!"

BOOM!!!

A pillar of energy erupted. Before the Western players could even react, they were wiped out, collectively eliminated from the event.

Seeing no survivors, Kuang's face flushed with excitement. "Ah~ that felt so good~

He..he...he..."

Seito: "..."

Good grief, you're a freak.

Rubbing his temples, Seito ignored his subordinate and looked into the distance. He noticed many Eastern players were watching them.

However, before he could react, the heads of the Eastern players across from him began to explode one by one!

Pop!

Pop, pop, pop!!!

Within five minutes, over two thousand players died! Combined with the fallen Western players, the count plummeted.

[Players Remaining: 236]

The sounds of elimination were continuous. Seito focused his gaze on the survivors.

"Guild Master , those dead players... it looks like they all just sat on the ground," Kuang noted, his face paling slightly.

After all, he and Seito had just been sitting down moments ago. Had he accidentally screwed over his own Guild Master ?

"Don't worry," Seito shook his head, signaling for him to stay calm. He studied the fallen players, replaying their final moments in his mind.

Their deaths were chaotic. Seito couldn't watch every single one at once, but he could remember the details of a few. He searched for a common denominator. But after a moment of thought, he found nothing out of the ordinary—aside from sitting down, there was nothing unusual.

"Let's go over there," Seito said, walking toward the remaining players. Kuang followed closely.

They soon reached the group of Eastern players. Many were in a state of confusion. Just then, a conversation caught Seito's ear.

"I just tested it—[Sitting Down] isn't a rule. You don't have to worry," a young man said to a female player sitting on the floor.

The girl smiled. "Thanks, big brother~"

"No problem, no problem," the youth waved it off with a grin. Even if he got eliminated from the third event, it was no big deal. Being able to add a cute girl's ID was a total win in his book!
