Carrying a massive haul of breakfast, Seito flashed a satisfied grin.
Not bad, not bad at all.
The steamed buns were stuffed with spicy mapo tofu. Kanade was definitely going to love these!
"You know, sometimes I feel like Seito-kun is a truly mysterious person," Yui Yuigahama suddenly remarked.
"Oh? How so?" Seito asked, curious.
"Well, usually you're quite... abnormal. Sometimes you're so thick-skinned you seem like a total degenerate, but other times you're as gentle as the kind older brother next door. And then, in the game, you're literally the ruler of an entire empire."
Yui listed out her impressions of him one by one. After listening, Seito chuckled and asked, "So, which version of me do you prefer?"
"Ugh..." Yui's face turned bright red. "The second one, I guess..."
"Wrong," Seito shook his head.
"???" Yui looked at him, a row of question marks practically floating above her head. "How can that be wrong?"
She genuinely did prefer the gentler side of him. After all, the things he had just said were incredibly comforting.
"You should say it like this," Seito cleared his throat, locking eyes with her. "'No matter what kind of person Seito-kun is, I love them all~'"
"..."
The moment those words left his mouth, Yui's face turned as red as a ripe apple.
That's way too embarrassing! There's no way I could ever say something like that!
And yet... thinking carefully about it, she realized that no matter which "Seito" she was dealing with, she didn't seem to dislike any of them.
Seeing her flustered state, Seito hid a smile behind his hand. The atmosphere between them warmed significantly as they walked, finally coming to a halt at the base of Seito's apartment building.
"Yui, I live on the second floor here. Feel free to come over and hang out whenever you have time," Seito reminded her.
"Okay!" Yui nodded, waving her hand. "Bye-bye~"
"Bye-bye~" Seito mimicked her tone playfully before turning to enter the building.
Watching him leave, Yui hurried toward her own home. Today... she had been truly, deeply happy!
Back inside his apartment, Seito found that Amou and Kanade were already up, and the Sora/Shiro siblings had also arrived. They were currently sitting around the dining table, waiting for the feast to begin.
"Come on, everyone, let's eat." Seito set the breakfast on the table and took his seat.
No one stood on ceremony; they dove right in. Taking a sip of soy milk, Seito spoke up:
"We're heading to the 51st floor today. I'll start by farming about 200 Divine Power points for each of you."
"No problem!" Sora took a bite of a fried dough stick and flashed a thumb-up. The others nodded in agreement.
At that moment, Kanade Tachibana suddenly spoke. "Seito-kun... could you accompany me back to my home this afternoon?"
"Sure," Seito agreed immediately, then asked, "Why the sudden trip home?"
"My parents just called. They... want to meet you," Kanade answered, looking a bit self-conscious.
"Meet me?" Seito processed the meaning behind the request.
After a few seconds, the answer clicked. Since Kanade was living with him, her parents likely assumed he was her boyfriend. If that was the case... wasn't this essentially "meeting the in-laws"?
"We'll head over together after lunch."
Hearing Seito's confirmation, the corners of Kanade's mouth curled into an involuntary, happy smile.
The meal finished quickly. Sora and Shiro returned to their place, while Seito and the two girls went back to their rooms to log into the game.

Having just logged in, Seito checked his friend list and saw that only the five of them were online.
"Let's go straight to the 51st floor. We'll come back for Maple and the others once they get online."
"Mmh."
The group nodded and teleported away.
Time flew, and it was soon 11:00 AM.

Currently, the entire Executive roster of The Fatui, along with Sae Chabashira, Chika Fujiwara, and Shoko Nishimiya, were gathered. They were at the wooden cabin Seito had purchased previously.

"I didn't expect Shizuka-sensei and Sae-sensei to join The Fatui as well," Minami Kotori noted with a smile, looking at the two teachers.

"Shizuka-sensei, here is your Brawler set."
Seito handed over a Unique Orange Brawler Set he had exchanged from the Merit Shop.
"Thanks." Shizuka took the set and equipped it immediately. "I can feel the power surge." She clenched her fist.
Seeing her equipped, Seito turned to Sae Chabashira. "Sae-sensei, this one's for you." He pulled out a Unique Assassin Set—a reward from his solo boss runs. Sae took it without a word and swapped her gear.
"Shoko, Chika-chan, these two sets are for you." Seito pulled out two more sets and handed them to the younger girls.
"Wow! Seito-kun, you're the best~" Chika's eyes sparkled as she equipped her gear.
"Thank you..." Shoko whispered softly, following suit.
