The shout echoed across the valley, snapping everyone's attention away from the melee. They froze, weapons lowered, and craned their necks toward the sky.
High above, a black speck was rapidly expanding. As it plummeted, the realization hit them—it wasn't an object; it was a player.
The members of the three factions scrambled to clear a landing zone.
Then—
BOOM!!!
The impact shook the earth, sending a massive plume of dust and debris into the air. Players shielded their eyes from the shockwave. As the haze slowly settled, they peered into the crater.
"It... It's... SEI!!"
The Chrysanthemum King swallowed hard. Top player Sei! One of the Big Three... why is he here? This is bad. Extremely bad. The other two Kings felt their stomachs drop as their expressions turned grave.
Seito stepped out from the center of the cracked earth, slowly extending his arms. Just as he did, a beautiful girl with shimmering wings descended gracefully from the sky. Seito caught her, performed an elegant mid-air spin, and set her gently on the ground.
With a flick of his wrist, a sleek Tachi materialized. He drove the blade into the dirt, swept his white hair back with his left hand, and rested both hands casually atop the hilt.
"It seems everyone is quite happy to see me," he said with a serene smile.
Then, he unleashed it.
"Spatial Storm!"
ROAR!!
An invisible ripple of distorted space expanded outward like an absolute domain, swallowing every player in the vicinity. Space itself began to buckle and fold. In a single, silent instant, over 20,000 players were vaporized.
"Pfft—!"
"Damn it! Sei, you absolute troll!!"
"I... I wasn't ready...!"
Within seconds, the valley was a graveyard. Only Seito and Kanade remained standing. High above, the global leaderboard flickered as the data refreshed.

Ten minutes later, his guild members finally caught up and descended the mountain.
"Let's go! Time to climb the ranks!" Seito commanded. Ten thousand men let out a roar and began their hunt.
Two hours later.
Seito was resting in a dense forest. In the last two hours, he had systematically dismantled every faction in his path. His tally had skyrocketed past 10,000.
With over 600 million participants and 60,000 factions, his killing spree had catapulted him straight to the #1 spot. Sora and Shiro were right behind him, though the competition was fierce—the event was a literal race of efficiency.

Seito was safe at the top, but the Blank siblings were in a tight race with the fourth and fifth places nipping at their heels.
Suddenly, a scout ran up to Seito. "Boss! A massive faction is heading our way! At least 500,000 strong!"
"500,000?" Seito paused. For a faction to grow that large, they must have conquered or absorbed dozens of other groups. "Let's go. Time to put them down."
He gripped his blade, and the Dimensional Cube floating beside him broke apart into twenty-seven glowing fragments.
On the other side of the woods...
"My King, we've spotted a Fatui squad. What should we do?" a top-tier player asked, eyeing the black-suited figures ahead.
"Hahaha!" the Forest King laughed boisterously. "The Fatui split into ten teams. As long as we don't hit one led by an Executive, they aren't a problem! Besides... it's not like I haven't wiped out a Fatui squad already."
He sneered. Without an Executive, the Fatui were just high-level players—formidable, but no match for his army of 500,000. His men gained confidence from his words and halted the march.
One of his elite players stepped forward and shouted toward a lone Fatui member, "Where's your officer? Tell them to get out here!"
The Fatui member simply smirked and said nothing. This infuriated the player. We have half a million people! Why are you so arrogant?
As the tension peaked, the Forest King's brow furrowed. He felt a shift in the air. Two figures blurred into existence at the front of the Fatui line.
"I suppose it really is different without an Executive present," Seito remarked. He had heard every word. Since this guy had the nerve to touch one of his sub-teams, it was only right that he, as the Guild Leader, offered a proper "thank you."
He looked at the King's ID: [Keep Your Green Hat On (Forest King)].
"A man who needs 500,000 people to push over one of my sub-teams... aren't you worried about straining your back with all that big talk?" Seito smiled.
The 500,000-man army froze the moment they recognized Seito and Kanade. The Forest King's bravado vanished instantly, replaced by an awkward, sweating grin.
"Hey now, a guy can't brag a little?"
"Then let me brag a little, too."
Seito snapped his fingers. The twenty-seven floating cubes hummed with lethal energy.
"Spatial Dragon's... BREATH!!"
BOOM!
Twenty-seven pillars of raw, concentrated energy erupted simultaneously, screaming through the forest toward the Forest King and his massive army.
