A giant shock wave made of darkness engulfed more than a thousand alien spaceships, reducing them to scrap
Another wave down, said a man who had multiple holes in his body that were regenerating slowly. He then continued
There should be at least 670.000 of them remaining. The next wave would be one of the biggest, with at least 5000 spaceships, and that's not the worst part. It will take 10 minutes for the next wave to come. I may not tire, but I can still get injured and feel pain. I thought while looking at the now regenerating wounds in my body, but that will not be enough to stop me, I said with a cold smile, and an armour of solid darkness manifested and coated every inch of my body, and in my right arm, a two-meter-tall dark scythe manifested
The man then looked towards the incoming 5000 spaceships and said in a distorted voice
Let the hunt begin
The man then teleported to the first spaceship, and with a single downwards swipe, the spaceship was cut in two

He wasted no time teleporting to the next, taking it out in a similar way. After three minutes of rapid teleportation, Eldrin had taken out 300 spaceships. He then paused as he was surrounded by spaceships from all directions. They started blasting, making Eldrin manifest a shield around him, who then said with a distorted voice while extending his two hands in different directions, forming a T

In an instant, a devastating shock wave consumed all the spaceships that surrounded Eldrin, reducing them to atoms
You made it easier for me to wipe you out by surrounding me, though, Eldrin, with a cold smile
He then turned to look in the distance with a frown
It's finally time for my last stand, I thought with a smile, all those waves I fought were merely scouts, but now I'm gonna fight the actual fleet
The man then looked towards earth with a gentle smile and said
The survival of the light will now be up to you, Erskine
I then looked towards my enemy and screamed while charging

Narrator: There was a man in dark armour and a scythe; he looked like an angel of darkness; he seemed to be fighting a losing war, on his last leg he was, but he could not fall just yet; he had to take out as many threats as he could to increase the chances of survival for those still being evacuated.
He was surrounded by 370.000 spaceships of all sizes. He had managed to take out as many of them as he could. This is what remained of them; the man himself had half his upper body missing, now wielding his scythe with his only hand remaining. The assault of the fleet never stopped, constantly hitting his shield, rapidly forming cracks in it, but he was not done yet; he was about to unleash his strongest attack
Inside the biggest spaceship in the Kree-Skrull fleet was a green humanoid sitting in a futuristic seat overlooking the whole fleet that surrounded that dreaded creature
We have been constantly blasting that terrifying thing for days, yet it still lives, shouted the alien that seemed to be the leader to the others
Another alien then said in concern
Imperial Minister, that thing seems to be preparing for something
The Minister, after hearing that, turned towards the damned creature with fear and said LOUDLY
TURN ON THE FORCE FIELDS NOW!
The man inside who was inside the shield seemed to be preparing something dark; shock waves were being released one after the other, but that was not the real attack, no, it was merely a preparation. Right after his shield finally broke, he was struck by countless attacks of all kinds from the fleet, but the man merely chuckled coldly while saying in a distorted voice
Too late
A catastrophic shock wave was released; it seemed more like a nuclear explosion, but there was no explosion, nothing. One moment, there was 370.000 spaceships, and the other only 98.824 it was as if those spaceships were erased
Back into the biggest spaceship in the fleet
REPORT CASUALTIES NOW shouted the imperial Minister Kree-Skrull
Another Kree-Skrull reported with a shaky voice filled with fear
over 271.000 sir
The Kree-Skrull imperial minister thought he was hallucinating when he heard that number, and then said with urgency
What about the creature!?
Another Kree-Skrull then said
It's gone, sir, probably killed by its own attack
The Imperial minister then said with relief
That's good, but we lost too many. Then he paused while looking towards the planet called Earth in the distance and said
But we still should be more than capable of conquering this planet; its inhabitants are too weak, their technology too inferior, we shall continue our conquest
SHIELD HEADQUARTERS
Inside an office was a man who seemed to be worried about something
Suddenly, a shadow creature appeared in his office, holding a piece of paper
The man rushed towards the creature, who then gave him the piece of paper, and then slowly disintegrated, but not before saying
You are now the protector of the light
Erskine didn't know what that meant, so he looked at the piece of paper, but when he read what it said. His eyes widened his hand that was holding the paper started to shake
He died, muttered Erskine with grief
Somewhere in space was an orb made of darkness, floating; it seemed to be heading towards Earth. The orb seemed to be regenerating at a slow pace
