"Aargghhh!" The assassin screamed in pain, managing to survive. However, Milinda immediately closed in. She thrust her spear multiple times, overwhelming the assassin and ultimately killing him.
Then Auric shouted, "Get back and finish the rest!"
"!!!" Ellia and Milinda heard it loud and clear. They rushed back to the team, while Arina and Eric held back some beasts.
Auric took a deep breath to readjust himself, since he had exhausted his unique element energy.
Lindwurm said, "You still won't be able to copy this element yet. I can't allow you to make the same mistake."
'It looks like we're going to have a long talk about this once this is over.' Auric took a deep breath and shifted his focus back to the beasts.
Now that there were no more assassins and the number of beasts had dwindled, they started taking down the beasts normally, while gradually retreating to a safer spot.
