Chapter 122 - The Dual-World Slytherin [122]

Damian had made significant new progress on his project of translating spell models.

Damian opened his palm. Instead of relying on a wand or chanting an incantation, he used his raw mana to condense 128 Runic Scripts into his hand.

He expertly guided the Runic Scripts, arranging them into a precise spell model. This structure was completely different from the other Runic Magic he had mastered; it was a complex, nested matrix.

It was formed by multiple spell models intricately nested together. The model in his palm flashed with light, and the surrounding trees instantly transformed into wooden utility poles.

He dissipated the magic, and the utility poles seamlessly reverted back into trees.

Damian opened his palm again, this time using his magic to condense 168 Runic Scripts. He guided the Runic Scripts into another model. The internal structure had shifted slightly, but the fundamental framework remained identical.

The spell model flashed brightly, and the surrounding trees instantly transfigured into solid stone statues. He dismissed the magic once more, and the stone statues turned back into ordinary trees.

Damian had successfully cast Transfiguration using mental Runic models. He had finally managed to translate Hogwarts Transfiguration directly into Other World Runic Magic!

Damian let out a long breath. Transfiguration was truly one of the most difficult branches of magic to master in the Harry Potter universe. He had spent several grueling months fundamentally understanding the spell's matrix to translate it into Runic Magic, and the process had been far harder than anticipated.

Transfiguration was inherently ever-changing. The translated spell model was deeply nested, and the required Runic Scripts were not rigidly fixed. By simply adjusting the nested structure and swapping the types of Runic Scripts, he could cast Transfiguration to achieve vastly different physical effects.

With a mere thought, Damian consumed the energy in his metal disc to travel directly to the Wizard Tower in the Gap World.

The Transfiguration matrix was complete. Having reached the absolute expansion limit of his Sea of Spirit , and with his breakthrough catalyst prepared, everything was ready. He planned to break his mental shackles and promote to a Formal Wizard right now within the safety of the Wizard Tower!

"Welcome back, Master." The advanced alchemical puppet, Orianna, lowered her head, her glowing blue eyes completely subservient as she bowed in her off-the-shoulder black dress.

Damian nodded and headed straight for his designated Quiet Room. Besides the automated workshops and functional halls , the hollow cylinder of the Wizard Tower contained several vacant spaces expanded by spatial folding. He had converted one specifically for deep meditation and cultivation.

The Quiet Room was sparsely furnished. In the very center sat an exquisitely styled alchemical incense burner.

Damian sat cross-legged and mentally reviewed Aemon's Meditation Method once more. He then took out a stick of Azure Jade Incense from his pocket, placed it into the burner, and lit it.

Once lit, the second-tier alchemical incense produced an aroma that entirely bypassed normal human olfaction.

The Azure Jade Incense drastically accelerated the activity and expansion of his Sea of Spirit. It was immensely helpful for stabilizing the mind when attempting to engrave an Innate Spell Model. This valuable resource was part of the wealth he had looted from Madam Alsha's manor.

"Thanks to the selfless Madam Alsha. She truly provided excellent funding," Damian thought with a smirk, mentally thanking the imprisoned Syndicate Boss for her involuntary contributions.

Not long after the Azure Jade Incense began burning, Damian felt his vast internal reservoir of magic power begin to boil and turn highly active.

Damian then took out a bottle of Invigoration Draught improved by Professor Snape and drank it, rapidly restoring his mental energy and focus within the Other World.

Calming his mind, he visualized the translated Transfiguration Runic Model deep within his Sea of Spirit. He mobilized his mental energy, slowly constructing the complex framework directly within his mind.

Because this specific Transfiguration model was nested, every single foundational runic structure had to be perfectly constructed and linked. It was equivalent to engraving multiple distinct spell models simultaneously, making the difficulty increase exponentially.

An hour later, a light sweat beaded on Damian's forehead. The high-intensity focus required to mentally construct the Runic model without failure caused significant mental exhaustion.

After a grueling six hours, Damian finally succeeded. A highly complex, mutually nested Transfiguration spell model floated securely within his Sea of Spirit.

Damian immediately took out his prepared vial of Potent Vitality Draught and swallowed it. This intense potion, brewed with Troll blood and Boomslang skin, was designed to trigger a violent Magical Outburst. The efficacy was so strong that if not used to shatter rank bottlenecks, the resulting surge could permanently damage his foundational magic.

The moment he consumed the draught, Damian felt his magic surge violently. The raw mana in his body began to skyrocket as a localized Magical Outburst swept through the Quiet Room , causing nearby objects to float uncontrollably before being pulverized into dust.

Damian's Sea of Spirit underwent a massive qualitative change. The vast reservoir of spiritual energy began to collapse toward the center, constantly shrinking and violently condensing his core.

After a long while, the condensation stabilized. The translated Transfiguration Runic model he had just constructed merged directly into the center of his Sea of Spirit. Damian's Innate Spell had been permanently engraved.

This metamorphosis completely fortified his core, making his mind highly resistant to external manipulation. The pure magic within his body perfectly linked with his newly evolved Sea of Spirit.

By permanently engraving the Innate Spell Model into his Sea of Spirit, he bypassed the usual slow casting speed of Runic Magic. He could directly trigger the model, saving the standard ten seconds required to guide the runes. This was exactly why a Formal Wizard could cast their Innate Spell instantaneously.

Because of this, Damian had secured absolute, instantaneous mastery over the Runic Magic version of massive-scale Transfiguration.

His total volume of magic power drastically increased. However, as a newly promoted Formal Wizard, his magic was currently highly unstable and chaotic. He would require a dedicated stabilization period over the next few days for his magic to calm down before he could safely engrave any new Innate Spell Models into his Sea of Spirit.

While standard Runic spells could be constructed with practice to reduce their casting time to around 10 seconds , true Innate Spells were permanently tied to a wizard's major realm breakthroughs.

Damian had successfully shattered his shackles. He was officially a First-Level Sorcerer—a true Formal Wizard. The surging strength gave him an immense boost in absolute confidence , and he couldn't wait to test the sheer power of his new Innate Spell.

Using the red crystal embedded in his metal disc, he consumed its spatial energy to traverse back to the Other World. Arriving in the Blizzard Kingdom, he immediately navigated toward the unmapped Deep Area of the Winter Forest.

The heavy scenery of the Winter Forest hadn't changed much. The harsh wilderness was still dominated by towering, ancient flora like the Dragon-Serpent Trees.

Damian opened his hands, palms facing upward. Relying on his True Magical Perception, he closed his eyes and effortlessly projected his senses outward like a full-field radar.

It didn't take long for the native beasts to discover his presence. Perched among the giant branches surrounding him, a flock of massive, two-headed avians locked their eyes onto him in unison.

Caw! Caw! The restless flock let out harsh, grating screeches. Over a dozen of the heavy, mutated creatures flapped their wings and dove from the canopy, launching a coordinated attack against Damian.

Damian merely raised his hands. Triggering his massive-scale Combat Transfiguration instantly, the surrounding ancient trees violently came alive. The thick trunks shot into the sky, and their sprawling branches instantly transfigured into massive wooden arms that snatched the diving beasts right out of the air.

In a single, brutal motion, the transfigured wooden limbs crushed the creatures to pieces. Countless black feathers slowly drifted down from the freezing sky.
