The small child became a giant black ape over ten meters tall.
Under the moonlight—
Its red eyes burned with madness.
No reason.

Only destruction.
"…What?!" Piccolo gasped, instinctively retreating.

The earth split open.
Rocks vaporized.
Soil melted into glass.
It struck a distant mountain.
Explosion.
A massive fireball rose into the sky—
Forming a mushroom cloud.
The shockwave spread for kilometers—
Even reaching Piccolo in the air.
"This… this…" Piccolo's voice trembled.
"…With this kind of power… we don't even need Vegeta… the Earth will be destroyed first!"
He turned urgently.
"Branch! Stop him!"
But—
He froze.
Because—
"ROOOAAARRR—!!!"
A second roar erupted.
Stronger.
Deeper.
More terrifying.
Piccolo slowly turned.
And saw it.
Branch—
Was transforming.
In an instant—
He became a much larger Great Ape.
Over fifteen meters tall.
But worse—
His eyes.
Not red.
Golden-red.
Like fire.
Like lightning.
There was still a trace of awareness—
But buried under overwhelming destruction.

"If that energy explodes… a tenth of the planet could be gone!"
He couldn't escape.
If this detonated—
The entire Earth would suffer.
Then—
A thought struck him.
The moon.
Saiyans transform using the full moon.
Destroy the moon—
They revert.
Without hesitation—
"Disappear!"
Piccolo raised his hand.
A beam shot into the sky.
"BOOOOM—!!!"
The moon—
Was destroyed.
Everything Ends in an Instant
Darkness returned.
Immediately—
Gohan reverted.
The giant ape shrank—
Fur vanished—
Bones contracted—
Back to a small child.
Unconscious.
Branch—
For a brief moment—
His eyes cleared.
Then—
All that terrifying energy—
Collapsed instantly.
Gone.
He returned to human form—
And fell.
Silence.
Aftermath
Piccolo slowly descended.
His legs trembled.
He breathed heavily.
Sweat covered his face.
"…That was too close…"
If not for destroying the moon—
The result would've been catastrophic.
He looked at the two sleeping children.
"…You both can transform…"
"…Especially you, Branch…"
He sighed.
"…Maybe he really didn't know…"
Then—
He froze again.
Someone was there.
Floating in the sky.
Silent.
Watching.
"…B-B-B…" Piccolo stuttered.
Broly.
He had arrived silently.
That overwhelming presence—
Piccolo hadn't even sensed it.
Broly simply nodded.
Just a small motion.
But to Piccolo—
It felt like mercy.
Then—
Broly vanished.
Like he was never there.
Piccolo's Fear
Piccolo collapsed to his knees.
His entire body shook.
When did he arrive…?
I didn't even notice…
Cold fear filled him.
If I had harmed his son…
I'd be dead.
He looked at the sleeping kids.
"…You two monsters…"
Then—
He created clothes for them with a wave of his hand.
For Gohan—
An orange gi.
With a "Demon" (魔) symbol.
For Branch—
A fitting outfit like before.
He exhaled.
"…I still need to train…"
And then—
He flew away.
Next Morning
On Kame House island—
Morning arrived peacefully.
Waves.
Sunlight.
Calm.
Until—
"VROOOOM—!"
A small plane landed.
Out stepped Bulma.
Exhausted.
But excited.
She held the repaired scouter.
Walking toward the house—
She knocked.
The door opened.
Launch stood there, smiling.
"Bulma? You're up early."
